Another Libra scrapper here. I have no trouble doing a mini book but sit me down to do a 12x12 and I just can`t choose what to use. When I started scrapping with few supplies I made LOs like a mad woman but now with more stash to choose from I am a dithering wreck. Right off to make a mini book or a canvas now, at least some stash will be used today.

I don't plan my pages and I therefore print all of my pictures. I'd save some $ if I just decided on what pics to use ahead of time. I'm too overwhelmed to think ahead.

If I don't incorporate the date into the layout, then I write it on the back, because I rarely use the back side of the paper since I don't necessarily scrap in chronological order, but I put them into the finished scrapbook that way. I don't think this is cringe worthy, but a great idea instead. I did the same thing on a layout that the date just wouldn't fit the mood of the page.

I will even pick out certain photos that I really love and print them out in 5x7 AND 4x6 so that I have options when I do the page!

Ha ha, I'm guilty of this one too and then I'm stuck with all the extra duplicate pics that I've already scrapped. At this rate, by the time my kid graduates I'll have enough extra photos to wallpaper a decent sized room!

And on two of the last layouts I made, I decided it would be better/easier if they were even smaller, because cropping wasn't really working. So I reprinted them all in 2x3 and 3x4 so I had even more options!

I constantly take things out of my purge box. I don't really know why I bother because I never end up using it. I have removed and put back the same set of brads about 10 times. Sometimes if I can't remember the date and feeling lazy, I make it up...close is good enough. I don't make titles and I fake splatters by using my splatter rubber stamp;)

I love everyone's responses. Can't believe my silly little confession has grown into a 4 page post. Thank you everyone for sharing your secret scrapbook habits. I can relate to many of them. Been there, done that, scrapped it!

emhibb, where do you get yours done? I print them at home with my HP printer. I print them on 4x6 photo paper, and the software that came w/the printer lets me insert 1, 2 or 4 photos to the template.

I can't believe I didn't think about photo printing when I did!!

My feelings about paper are irrational. I buy the paper to use it on my layouts. Obvious, right? But then when it's time to use it I have this feeling that once I cut into it and use it I won't have the paper anymore. I don't want to let go of that pretty paper that I've bought. I get so annoyed with myself when I do that. I have to ask myself what I want more - full sheets of unused paper or completed layouts for my family to enjoy. It's crazy! How did I drift from scrapper to paper collector? My secret is out. I'm so ashamed. It almost makes you want to dedicate a whole 12x12 album to untouched sheets of paper, lovingly slipped into page protectors so that we can flip through to see our favorites without "ruining" them by cutting them and actually *gasp* using them.

It is free to dowload and very easy to use. I don't print photos at home but I just take them to the photo lab and they print them for me. I usually do 2 x3 as two will fit nicely on a normal 6 x 4 print.
