Gia, you provide reliably predictable responses. It's somehow oddly comforting in these roller-coaster days we've had since the inauguration. ![](http://i1168.photobucket.com/albums/r481/2peasrefugees/Smilies/wink.jpg.gif)

I don't claim to know what's in your mind, I only know what you write here and that's all I'm referring to. This thread is about untruthful, biased news, so that's why I'm having a conversation about untruthful, biased news. According to the "rules" thrown at me all the time by a select majority here, any attempt by (you, in this case) to bring another topic in, is nothing more than stirring the shit and not participation in the conversation. (according to your side) So congratulations for stirring the shit according to "your side". Ok then why didn't you pick Fox News? Why did you pick CNN? What has happened the last couple of days is not the norm for CNN. Because Fox isn't the one caught on tape saying "their coverage is bullshit" and a "nothing burger". That's why. Pretty obvious that's what prompted the thread.

Oh and your title is nothing more than a sensational lie, The Project Veritas person is the one who actually led in with the "bullshit comment" as a question-- From the the video, the “PV journalist” says, “But honestly, you think the whole Russia sh*t is just like bullsh*t?” The man said to be Bonifield responds, “Could be bullsh*t. I mean, it’s mostly bullsh*t right now. Like, we don’t have any big giant proof.” CONTEXT MATTERS. I know YOU don't understand what context means given quite a lot of your posts, but it does matter and makes a difference in who said what in response to something. "Could be bullshit" is NOT THE SAME as "CNN producer says "Russia coverage is mostly bullshit" as your title screams. "I mean it's mostly bullshit right now." Followed by (in context) "Like we don't have any big giant proof" is what I would expect him to say knowing that Mueller is still investigating. You do realize that CNN retracted and apologized for ONE storyline regarding ONE person and not all the other Russian collusion and connections right? It's not the entire Russian collusion that is with the ongoing investigations. And, given your only comment & source in the OP, you shame yourself Gia--the same exact comment you made there is 100% factually true about the article & dishonest reporter you are using to support your own statement (OP) . How does "Like we don't have any big giant proof" change the meaning of "I mean it's mostly bullshit right now."? when has the media reported they have "proof" of any collusion? all along they report about the investigation but they have never said they have proof of collusion. Lots of things that point to collusion, lots of info that is suspicious but never any proof. that is what an investigation is for, to investigate

Not undercover video from James Okeefe He edits shit until it's unrecognizable, like those scam calls where they ask if you can hear them and when say sure you've just bought something expensive on your phone bill Exactly. This is literally fake news.

I think CNN has had to retract quite a few stories just in the month of June alone. If I didn't have such a headache, I'd do some google searching. So take my word for it....or, don't. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

Thanks, that was interesting. You didn't have to provide the Van Jones bio, because he's a local hero around these parts. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) I'm interested in his opinions, but I'll leave it up to Robert Mueller and the Congressional committees investigating whether it's a big nothing burger or not. And I notice that was yet another undercover PV video. It's always nice to let people know if they're speaking on the record or what when you secretly videotape them. ![](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/Ui47LhQw2NqWVWNNqtfM.jpg) (Not you, but Project Veritas.)

Well I did look and other than this Russia story nothing. What I did find is the first two paragraphs of an ABC News article... "For a president seemingly at perpetual war with "fake news," the resignation of three CNN journalists over a retracted story about a Donald Trump Russian connection is a gift from the political gods when the struggling effort to pass a health bill dominates the headlines. The White House quickly took advantage Tuesday with blistering presidential tweets and a media scolding at the afternoon press briefing. Conservative provocateur James O'Keefe piled on by releasing a video with a CNN producer caught on camera talking about the network's Russia coverage being ratings-driven." If there had been "quite a few " stories retracted in the month of June tiny hands would have been all over it on twitter. By the way very few if any news media will air news stories that aren't driven by ratings. Look how long it took for the Flint, MI story to make it to national news. Rachel Maddow had aired the story on her show numerous times before it caught the eye of the rest of the national media and the candidates themselves.

You might recall, I think he is best known nationally for having been driven out of his White House job in '09 by conservatives enraged because he was a "Communist" or some such nonsense. I forget the details, but I sure remember the brouhaha.

The difference between Fox and CNN in their misinformation is that Fox is very deliberate in their releasing misinformation while CNN got sloppy in their race to find "breaking news". I like to know the whole story based on facts so I'm never happy when I'm mislead. And it's even worse when a news outlet is deliberate in their goal to mislead the public with their reporting. And while I'm not excusing CNN for their sloppiness it pales in comparison to what Fox News is doing.

When you bring up Democrats and Hilary any chance you get when anybody is critical of Trump? Mentioning Fox here is similar to what you do when you mention Hilary all the time. It's pretty funny that you don't want people to mention other networks here when you constantly bring up other politicians in defense of Trump.

I like to know the whole story based on facts so I'm never happy when I'm mislead. And it's even worse when a news outlet is deliberate in their goal to mislead the public with their reporting. And while I'm not excusing CNN for their sloppiness it pales in comparison to what Fox News is doing. I answered your question. Several times. So now, by your "rules" she can answer my question. The rest of your post is just more excuses and deflection by you. CNN got it wrong. A lot. And it's much more than sloppy reporting. You must not have actually "got the rest of the story". Nice try though.
