@mrshampoo I bought the Bluebird ...wow their ink is not cheap! Thanks for stamping those for me sleepingbooty I have a bunch of scrapbook.com hybrid inks in my cart. The color range is lovely and I like that they are a hybrid ink. Haven't pulled the trigger yet. Have to sit and think on it some more. I agree, Bluebird is so pretty! I love blue! I have ABM inks. I took out my swatches and the Archival Ink Manganese Blue looks nearly identical. Maybe you can grab one with a coupon the next time you swing by Hobby Lobby or Joann. I’m sorry I don’t know how to insert a picture to show you.

I’m loving the Stamping week videos. They are really inspiring me to do some different things with my stamps. So happy that Ali is doing this series and I also bought a couple of stamps from the sale so I’m sure that makes Ali happy too! Lol! I am loving them. I did pick up a few stamps in her sale. I have been stamping ‘along’ this week. ( actually I Saturday started stamping Saturday night when I started my March Layout ) And I plan to watch the videos tonight & ‘play’ along. Tonight is the night I have more time. Her TN book project is inspiring me too!

I’m curious what stamps everyone is picking up and how you are inspired to use them. I keep looking, but haven’t pulled the trigger on any. I got the Pieces stamp and Journeys. Errr For someone who is supposed to be mindful with my purchases this year I bought quite a few Ali stamps. But I don’t have many stamps to start so I’ll use that as my excuse Journey - rest - fabric- tough & the time stamp. Fabric specifically has phrases that I use all the time or apply to my life philosophies. Btw does anyone have a good roller stamp storage solution? Right now they are just on my desk which is great when I’m using them but not so great when they are in the way

I was looking at doing the 5 dollar month to month, with the first month being 5 dollars. When you do need to cancel to make sure you are not charged the 2nd month? I did try and look on her site, but am not seeing where it gives the date for mtm. Thanks! Nevermind, I found the faq

After a long time doing only digital scrapbooking, I'm coming back to paper so I don't have a lot of stamping basics. Which is how I'm justifying that I bought so much stamping stuff from Ali this week! I got the 3x4 Alpha (typewriter), the Read Collection Alpha, the Sans-Serif Alpha, the Give Add on 2x3 stamp & the 31 more things kit which has that small alpha. And then I bought the mini ink bundle 1 to try her ink out. I suspect I'll be going back to buy more after I play a bit!

The box should be deep enough for roller stamps, and bonus: wine!

Love msliz ‘s idea but failing that, a modern version of something like this antique metal stamps holder would be cool (I feel like it’s something 7gypsies would have made, or maybe Tim Holtz but that could just be wishful thinking on my part).

This one looks identical to the Ranger/Tim Holtz ones I purchased years ago. I have two and each have an extension row. I might need to pick up a third because I’m addicted to roller stamps for some reason.

I haven't commented on this thread in over a year, since I cancelled my subs with Ali. I have been all Ali'd out, frankly. I have to say, though, that her series this week has really gotten me excited about her again, lol. Plus, I have never been interested in Gelli plates, and now suddenly I find myself pricing them online. Darn you, AE!

I can see the handles with the labels on them so I know which one I am grabbing.

So fun. @birgit_koopsen has some cool videos with mini gelli plates on IG, especially with magazine resist prints.

I was definitely considering the gelli plates too! I was just in Michaels and was browsing after picking up the basics I needed and probably would have picked one up to try out but I didn't see any? I spent enough as it is... but after seeing her tutorial I'm definitely interested in trying it out. I used to art journal years ago but never discovered that product and never got my pages to look how I wanted. I think it might be the tool I need to bring mixed media into my scrapbooking again!

I spent most of the day yesterday organizing my stamps. I purged quite a few stamps I know I won’t use anymore. I took all of them out of the plastic packaging. I made dividers for the box they’re stored in and sorted them by category. I followed Ali’s lead in how I organized them by how she showed her stamp storage in the stamp week intro video. I was hesitant to remove them from the packaging. I don’t know why! Now that I can see them all by flipping through them without the packaging, it does feel like I’ll use them more easily. And I’m really liking that they are sorted by category. I really hope this works for me!

You guys... I think Ali accidentally already uploaded the videos for the new kit that doesn't release until the 13th. They aren't linked on her website but I watched another of her videos and they were suggested for me to watch... I want to share screenshots here but also feel like that's kinda cheating because Ali didn't intend for them to be seen yet... I wasn't sure if I should say anything at all...

Did you listen to the SK Video & the change coming? What? No! Spill! And I still didn’t find anything with the friends kit. The change is that the acrylic words are really small now (like, maybe the length of your pointer finger? Its hard to gage size in the video.) You can find the 'friends' video if you go to your classes >> then to this months class. Either watch it til the end or fast forward to the end>>three 'suggested' videos come up for you to watch. The first is the 'friends' stamp, the second is the Friends kit and the third is a video from her stamping week.

What is an SK Video?
I am so glad to hear they are making the acrylic words smaller. Ali mentioned this change over a year ago and I was wondering if they changed their minds.

I actually like the bigger size words (except for the words I don't have much use for...) but they give a page such a different look when used in the title.

Sorry I left that message and then I went out for a few hours... but I'm happy people found it! I didn't want to share images because she might catch it and want to take it down...
I do kinda like it! It reminds me a lot of the "list" kit with the style of the designs, but not quite so bold of colors. It does have some funky flowers on a few elements that I'm not a huge fan of (my guess is they were designed by someone who designs for studio calico), but I do like that they're bringing in patterns other than just text based. There are fabric embellishments in the kit which are cute. The stamp has some flower builder stamps and a lot of smaller words with a good mix of typed and handwritten, but no huge words which I like, you get more stamps that way. Lots of sentiments have a nod to childhood friends or lifelong friends, like "the good old days" etc. I'm also a fan of the smaller words for the most part... I sometimes do enjoy them as a large bold title, but with them smaller I will probably find them easier to use and can use them in pocket pages.

I think the Friends video is gone. I’m not seeing it at the end of the You Kit video.
Someone please post pics!
