After I received the January SBTM kit I cancelled my sub. But then I received the February kit. I contacted CS and they told me to keep the kit and they would refund my $$.
My question is, where are the SBTM digitals located? I do see the Inspiration by the Month in My Classes but I can't find the digitals.

I really appreciated having everything laid out for the year. I would be interested in the pieces of joy depending on what the stamp looks like- I thought Iād get play because I love that topic but the stamp had too many prompts I wouldnāt use. I like the idea of the ālittle momentsā kit. I am also curious about hobby vs wonder for the story kit - if itās really hobby I might change my sub to a year vs the 6 months. There was a series of 3 in a row I didnāt think Iād want which is why I went for 6 months but that change would be good for me.

I noticed that the upcoming Quarterly Scrapbook Kit themes sound similar to Story Kit themes (Grow, Go, Daily in upcoming releases). I haven't subbed to this kit, but I have bought one-offs in sales, and I loved that the focus was on shapes, motifs, and colors that I could use for more general story telling or pair with other items in my stash. I'm hopeful "Grow" yields various plant motifs rather than prompts about personal growth. Not that the latter isn't useful; it's just already well covered by the Story Kit.

She clarified and updated the website to reflect āHobbyā as the September Sk theme. Yay!
I agree @scrappieannie it was nice to have something totally different with little overlap of the other kits. Iām not totally opposed to revisiting old themes tho. Daily was one of the first themes. Iām not sure if there was even a kit at that point? Wasnāt it just a stamp? I would love to see the āMeā theme comeback. Go & Grow seem redundant with the travel/OLW and various themes each year. I guess weāll see how they turn out.

I've been trying to clarify my thoughts since I saw the video this afternoon.
What I know: -the story kit themes all sound good to me and I'd love to have all of them -the SBTM is looking better and better to me
What I also know: -I have a years worth of unused story kits -I already ordered a 9x12 album for PL this year and that was the direction I was heading -i very much enjoyed putting together my first month of OLW
But then: -its beyond the middle of January and I have barely taken any photos so 6x8 size story telling doesn't quite sound so bad considering -i took photos and did journaling for WITL last year and I bought all the things I haven't put that together yet either and my week seems a lot less than exciting so I think that's why the project isn't exciting me
In conclusion: -i think I love Ali in concept but just can't seem to take it across the finish line -i desperately wish I could because I feel like journaling heavy layouts from my past are my favorite.

Well, letting us know it was hobby instead of wonder had me contact customer serivce and change my 6 month sub to a 12 month. I really liked the themes this year except wasnāt sure what I thought about explore-let go- and wonder in a row but now that wonder (what I knew I didnāt want) is hobby Iāll have a skip in there and explore is probably fine. That gets me the lower price for kits I was was going to get anyway plus I am eligible now for a free mystery kit for starting a ānewā sub (since changing starts me on a 12 month commitment).

Am I the only one disappointed to see hobby instead of wonder? š
I canceled my year(++) subscription after open. Iām curious about explore and happy, but will just do those as one-offs.
I like seeing what they have in the docket!

Anyway, I will probably skip Hobby, but I am actually pretty interested in several other months. I think I have 3-4 left on my current sub and then I am going to play it by ear. I do love that we got a schedule and a printable PDF. I have already printed it out and will use it as part of my planning.

I guess I am the outlier who is totally excited by Hobby. I need to document my hobbies, I have far too many of them. And to me, Wonder is to nebulous and "out there." But I am a very objective thinker...Wonder would be too out of the box for me. This just goes to prove, once again, how wonderfully different we all are.

I was like, āwonder?ā What Iām wondering about? Or wonder as in awe? Either way, itās not a prompt that resonates with me. I love hobby and actually suggested it on that recent survey for Ali so I was very excited about the change!

In my case my hobbies are this and reading and I have a lot of supplies that cover reading, and KP/PP did a hobby theme last year that I barely touched. But wonder! I was excited for that. Oh well. Maybe theyāll bring still do it later on. It was pretty close kn the heels of wander, which can be confusing. I keep getting confused by the upcoming ālet goā, thinking it says āletās goā and I question why thatās happening so close to explore. š

Scrapbooking isn't my only hobby. And inscrap about my other hobbies too. I would think I'm not the only crafter who does this.

Thoughts on those story play mini kits? (Not sure of the actual name). Ali has walkthrough videos up on YT.
Iām excited about the projects overall, but not necessarily the products. I think my favorite items are the craft envelopes and the vellum sheets. I donāt think Iāll be buying the kits, but I might be making my own to play along with the class/community stuff.

I was thinking similarly! Love the craft envelopes. I do like the album but I donāt need an album. I like the color kit the most if I were to get a kit it would be that one but I donāt super love it so I was thinking of just using the idea and doing it myself. I really liked the little moment idea and thought Iād be getting that kit except I donāt love the colors, sort of blah pastels, at all. I donāt care for the photography kit (I actually am sick of camera icons) and Iāve never resonated with her facts and feelings phrasing. That said, I usually love Ali products and I think the whole premise is fresh and a lot of fun. I like how it not subscription based to be more inclusive. Iāll probably end up tossing the color stuff in my cart anyway just due to FOMO since I think since the color is the DITL that will be the first to sell out.

Hmm. Positive is, I won't be spending any money.. that floral vellum + the transparencies are cute! I don't consider that a divider though? I get why they're being called as such but if you have to add your own flip it's not really a divider on its own. Everything in that color kit looks like a mock digital template before you add photos in and I don't like the forced writing prompts for everything.. the room for creativity looks small unless you're using a bunch of outside product. I think by the end of the year everyone's albums will look like Krystal's. ..and I don't want that to come across as snarky just that she has a very distinct and rigid style I can see a lot in these kits. I'm... whelmed with everything ĀÆ\_(ć)_/ĀÆ Definitely not the audience for these this year and that's okay. Also are those puffy alphas a single sheet? You spell "week" and you're done with the e's... for $6 we deserve more vowels

The kits are ok....but nothing stellar. I have to be honest though. I don't 'get' her idea for their uses. Is each kit for a mini album later in the year? Or??? I 'get' DITL' but the other three? Where do those stories go? I dunno. It all feels very unthought through to me but maybe because I am obviously missing information it's not making sense? Can someone explain this to me? LOL

LOL I think the idea is that all four kits would go in the remember album and youād use those dividers you can buy (with the stripes, flowers) to separate the topics. Youād work on each kit throughout the year with the community and theyād live together in that remember album (or however you want to do it).

I knew I had to be missing some component of it. LOL So a year long album, but each 'section' is from a different lens that corresponds with the 4 minis.

LOL I think sheās keeping it all very casual and unstructured. I thought she mentioned using that REMEMBER THIS 6x8 album as the āhomeā for all four story kit events, using the dividers to separate them. I dunno. I appreciate that sheās trying a new approach rather that the same ole DITL and WITL, but itās all pretty vague what the actual plan is.

Hmm, not sure how I feel about this. I do like pieces of several themes or kits or whatever. I donāt care for the album, love the transparencies. Iāll get those for this or maybe WITL.
For the kits, I might pick up Photography as itās a huge part of emu life (self trained, former photo pro). The words she using in that kit really resonate with me. I also like the Little Moments kit, the floral vellum is amazing.
Iāve purchased every one of her DITL kits, used one. That project is not for me. Too much like WITL for me.
I have 2 story kits from 2022 that need a home. Might just mush it all together into one album.

I'll probably grab DITL Color because I enjoy DITL. Not sure I will like the color lens, but I'm up for trying it. And then maaaaybe that transparency pack and Little Moments for general documenting and my stash.

- Little moments kit is a maybe for meā¦ buying a kit for the envelope itās housed in is normal right?! - Definitely the album (maybe even x2) - Dividers definitely Everything else maybe if they come up as separate components in a sale (ie I love the ācoloursā 3x4 cards but canāt stand the colours in the rest of the kit š¤£) as I donāt think I love the rest enough to buy a whole kit/can use stash to get a similar story in colours I like more/am on a no buy for certain projects like day in the life as I have four full kits to use up! I definitely like this idea/direction more than two day in the life projects
