I did order all the available SBTM kits that were $6 in the end of year sale. I subbed the first year, but canceled after a year because it was so repetitive between the cards/chipboard/stamps. It’s time to refill my PL stash and the price was good. For whatever reason, two of the months were $11 so I skipped them.

Did I miss that AE was going to stop selling digital SBTM kits unless you subscribe to the physical kit? I am annoyed since I'm planning to go full digital for my PL 2023 and I actually really like the January and Feb kits. I don't want to have to purchase the physical kits just to get access to the digitals. Does anyone know if I will be able to purchase the digitals later? I couldn't find any info on Ali's blog in regards to the digitals, but I might just have missed it. Thanks!

I just received a detailed survey with a $5 off shop purchase incentive. I assume it went out to everyone on her mailing list. Heads up! Lots of questions about what you would change about the subs/kits.

I took the survey; $5 off, when shipping is $6, doesn't really make me run to make a purchase.
I guess stamps no longer ship free either. I went for the Pieces of Play stamp but it's $6 to ship.
I didn't really need anything, it's just frustrating honestly.

I reached out to the AE team after signing up for the digital "Inspiration by the Month" since the sub now starts with the Feb kit and I also wanted to buy the January kit. They helped me within a day and I now have the January kit as well. It was nice to have such a good experience with them since that has not always been the case.
If anyone else missed signing up for the new kit and still wants January, they should be able to help you.

Not sure that the new stories by the month kit went well (items? cost?) as the physical version is already in the shop as a stand alone item you can buy without a subscription…

 Sure! I used the “brand new year” and the 3x8 “January” papers in my One Little Word album and the remaining chipboard in other projects (the 2023 one is on my title page). Going forward I’ll use the transparencies/vellum in the weekly spreads but the full title page one didn’t work for that. I cut down that postcard type paper to make 3x4 cards. |

All of a sudden quarterly scrapbook subscriptions just roll over.
Did anyone get an email about this from customer service?
As late as Dec. 12, this is what their website said: "Does my quarterly subscription continue after the end of the year?
Quarterly subscriptions do not continue after the 4th kit order. You have the option to resubscribe in the new year."
I know because I copied and pasted it in this thread on that date.
WTAF?
If you're going to automatically charge someone for something, you damn well better tell them.
I just cancelled. I should not have had to.
I should have gotten an email.

I would absolutely call them out on it with customer service and on social media. My email to customer service was definitely blunt. I should not be finding out about a very expensive subscription policy change because I happened to be bored and watched Ali's instagram stories. I don't usually have time for stories. I pretty much only click on the Peachy Cheap stories. I'm just not interested in the upcoming themes. I loved this year. I will probably buy the Go kit but the rest don't sound great and I will need to see them before I shell out that much cash. |

Ali has a nice video and pdf up on the blog outlining all the releases and such for the year. It’s nice to see where all my money will go this far in advance 🤣
Honestly though I’m excited for a lot of it. Looks like there will be a community documenting day almost every month including a Halloween prep day. Definitely interested in the new Story Play collection & Pieces of Joy. Looks like WITL is back to May…..I’ll probably do mine later in the year. May just isn’t good for photos here.
Also her PDF indicates the September SK is Hobby but online it had said Wonder so not sure if that’s a typo or if it’s been changed. I’d rather have hobby tbh.
Does anyone do the Just Write sub? I keep thinking of doing it but I’m afraid I would never keep up. Maybe next year if I dump
a project.
