Looks like the polka dot album will be revealed next Monday! http://instagr.am/p/BfOn5ujh8xk Eta- there is another slightly different screenshot in her IG story that shows more of the stickers and that first tab says "Ali" And the second tab says "Aaron".

I don't think it will be a personal album. To me, that need could be filled with any of the other albums. I am leaning towards a story planner type product.

Hmm interesting. Well I don’t need a personal story album or anything planner related so if it’s one of those I’m out.

Since there is an "Aaron" tab, it's not a personal album...hmmm...I'm going with the planner concept, too.

The 'story idea' tear off pad to the right with the holes to go in the binder definitely lend itself to some kind of planner, too..

I think y’all are right...Unless I imagined it, I swear a few months back, I saw her mention she had something in the works for a story planner. I’m off to figure out where. ETA: Found it...screenshots below.

I definitely think it's a story planner. Too bad because I don't need that, I use my bullet journal pretty effectively for story planning, so I hope I'm not tempted by the cuteness of products!

Definitely don’t need a story planner thing either. I’ve got a travellers notebook with several notebooks in it and use one of those for crafty jottings. Don’t need another separate thing.

Reveal is changing from midnight eastern to noon eastern on the 13th. I'm sure that works better for Inked support hours and those on the east coast, but I loved it in the evenings. I was always home and had time to really see what was offered and get what I wanted.
The only plus side is maybe without addons I can get USPS vs slow as molasses surepost and save myself some money.

I'm just setting up my first TN and have an insert designated for this sort of thing too. I might be interested in a stamp set, but not a 6x8 album just for planning

I’ve just cancelled my story stamp and kit
I’m just not using them enough and with addons my ali gap was getting more expensive than I wanted

I agree with the idea about not needing a story planner, it's definitely not something I would buy.
But I am excited about the potential of new shop and supporting items for it that I could perhaps use on my pocket page layouts.

I received my "Fabric" kit today. First Class shipping! I haven’t gotten mine yet, mine shipped late Friday because I forgot to update my expired card. Oops. But I was really glad when I got the shipping notice that it was First Class. I hope this is a permanent change.

It’s a story planner, Ali pretty much confirmed it in the fabric classroom in the main presentation. She basically said new products are coming out next week to help with keeping story ideas organized.

I'm not sure I understand how a story planner would work. Is it a planner? What products would you use in a planner that's different that other planners? I guess I'm wondering exactly what kind of product you would use for this.

I guess I'm wondering exactly what kind of product you would use for this. I kind of envision it as a place/planner for you to write down about the stories that you want to tell about a person/your family in your albums - from their past, the current time or maybe the future - separated in the planner with tabs and dividers (like Ali's photo) You could use the planner to store ephemera in each 'section' relevant to the story. I reckon the product will be in line with the Story kit offerings - stickers, tear off strips, clear stamps, roller stamps, plastic pockets, paper pads with punched holes to insert in the planner etc. Basically all the shit nobody needs, but everyone wants, to make their planners look pretty.

I wouldn’t mind a story planner if it helped me get my PL done. But if it’s an “easier” substitute for PL, I wouldn’t be into that at all.

My thought from the sneak and the context from what Ali said in the story sub classroom is that it is intended for you to jot down story ideas/layout ideas as they come to you so that you don’t forget those ideas when you eventually get around to scrapping them. I think it will definitely be geared towards people who sub to Ali’s kits, but will work for everyone. The story idea that she wanted to jot down and prompted her to mention it in the story classroom was for a traditional page, but my guess is that she would create it to work for project life also since that is something she does and many of her customers do as well.

Huh. I guess it's just not for me. I do project life and I just keep all those bits and bobs and stories in my planner. I might decorate my monthly page with some stickers, but it such a small page that I wouldn't need a whole kit of stuff. I do have a plain moleskin notebook where I job down story ideas, but it's hit or miss. I'm not a person that will keep track of multiple systems when one will do.

Not on par with the current conversation at all, but the more I see ISO's in FB groups, the more I'm happy that I signed up for the SBM kit from AE. I haven't had a chance to use any of it, yet, as I'm once again behind in my photo printing (I just keep getting distracted by other things and just being behind a month starting with October is daunting as the last 3 months of the year are very photo heavy). It is such a fun little package for such little money every month.

Just need to print my photos this week. I'm also using as much of my many documenter kits as I can. I bought a bunch in the mega mega and super mega clearance sale at Studio Calico.
