I wasn't going to buy anything as I have loads of WITL products that I just haven't got round to using, but I really loved this release. I would have bought quite a few things but as always I have to take international shopping and taxes into account so I only got the mini kit and the transparencies. I will probably get the main kit in digital format when these become available. I am thinking of documenting next week as I want to capture a normal school week but then at the weekend we are going away for a few days and it will be nice to include that too.

Ok I’m feeling super dumb. What did I buy a month ago with the 4 themes, color was one of them. Is that craft my story and is that WITL?
I’m so confused on when I should follow along.
I might want to do the project that Ali is promoting right now, but I didn’t buy the peach kit that just came out last week. Can I use my stash for that or am I going to be lost? (More than I am now haha)

I really like this release, too. I love that it includes the digital, so I see it as a great value. I'm sorry that international shipping is so expensive. I think I can fit another WITL series in the album I got last year, the yellow one with flowers inside. I prefer solid colors. I just need to decide if I want to take on this project or not. I did it for the first time last summer, and it was pretty intense. |

She is doing four individual projects in those four topics. I printed out the calendar she shared if the year and when all the projects fall - she will be doing weekly documenting for these 4 projects that is free content for anyone. That is all different that the week in life stuff available right now. |

I was able to cancel my OLW mini kit sub- I told them I was disappointed in the stamp quality that changed after I had subbed with no communication about the change. I kept the SBTM though- even though it’s the same crappy stamp, for me, the value is still there with SBTM because I use everything else. But OLW is $10 more… I have found AE customer service really easy to work with so that is nice.

WITL arrived. Star album is so darn cute, even if the size stinks.
Main Kit - pretty good, no real surprises. The 4x4 craft cards are great.
Mini - should have skipped this. Not sure why I ordered.
Kraft 6x8 pages. The come in a plastic wrapper and EACH page is also in its own plastic wrapper. The hell Inked?
4x10 cards are really disappointing. Thin cardstock with a very grey cast. Not sure I will even use them tbh.

My order arrived --- 2 of my plastic circles are damaged. 1 is cut 3/4s of the way through the circle in a a zig zag + another looked like it got caught in the press -- so there is like a white groove with no colour.
My number dividers - 1 got caught through the printer - so has those white scuff marks , when your page gets stuck
I've started a conversation -- since the circles that were damaged were the pie charts - I'd be ok with a partial refund , but for the number divider, I'd like a replacement

i think i'm in the minority but I bought 4 sets of previous storykits and got them today and i LOVE THEM. I stopped getting them because the quality and quantity seemed to be going down, but now, i'm going to resub. having the patterned papers really makes them.

I checked all of my stuff and a couple of the thin word strips from the mini kit were bent. I have an idea of how I'm going to use them and I don't think it will matter. But since it's vellum, they are otherwise ruined. I'm not going to start a conversation.
One of my big words is bent but I think I can press it out.
I bought some of the sale items -- a couple of things from the travel release and an Oct. kit.
Overall I'm pretty happy with everything. LOVE the circles so much more in person. I use embellishments like this a lot.

Order came yesterday and all looks good. Super happy with the main kit and mini kit. I have not opened the circles but I have loved those in past so assuming I will this time. I actually like the peach album more in person and I went ahead and started it organize the inside to follow my formula I am starting to put together. I ordered the 4x8 citrus trust page protectors last fall and am using those in my WITL for the 4x4 cards, and last years gold foil hearts. Should be a fun project.

Glad you're joining in! I got my main kit today. I already had a CT Flamingo album in my stash and was just comparing it to the kit. The '6" in the main kit is a pink is a bit muted and darker compared to the album, but in a pinch it would work well. I really love the green of the #3 as well. I've debated painting an album I already have to match it but Im not sure if I can find a good color match in paint. Decisions, decisions. |

I already had a CT Flamingo album in my stash and was just comparing it to the kit. I used that flamingo album last year for this! I think it was a great match. Such a good color. I also have a spruce one that I'm hoarding. It's very close to one of the 3X8 number cards. I'm going to save it for a DD year where I only want to do 12 days or keep it simple. No way I can do DD with that small of a spine for a while. I did in 2020 (worked well for doing nothing, for sure). |

I am so behind on everything but I watched Al's YouTube video today on DITL and now I want to do it (of course, lol). I like the idea of documenting through the lens of color and think the kit is pretty cute (I'll be grabbing the digitals). Not sure on WITL but you ladies are inspiring me. I haven't done it since 2020 and life is so different now, I know future me would love for me to document it. Sad the main kit is sold out but I'll grab the digitals when they come out if I decide to go for it.

I think documenting our surroundings through a color lens is a fun idea, but for me it’s not a DITL thing. I’ll do it as a fun PL insert, or add it to our random family scrapbook. I have a couple different ideas for how to arrange the layouts, and I’m looking forward to seeing it through. 🌈

I have actually enjoyed Ali's videos as more of a generic approach to documenting. I won't be doing DITL, but I like her photography tips and will try to incorporate some of them into my day-to-day scrapbooking. I like the idea of focusing on color but would feel kind of stressed out trying to find something of each color in one day. I'm retired now, but I wish I had done DITL when I was in the thick of things. I honestly have no idea how I got things done when I was teaching all day. How did I get dinner on the table? How did I relax? I did WITL for the first time last summer, and I really enjoyed it. I will probably end up doing a digital version this year. I don't see a need for documenting DITL and WITL in the same month. |

I believe it's because it was released as part the Story Collection and they will be doing a week of content like this for all four of the themes. I'm a fan.
I never did DD before last year and would just tune out for the month of December. It was a nice break actually lol.

I just can’t get on board with this color prompt being a DITL thing. It’s a great theme, but better fitted for a story play project.
When there’s a big community documenting day like this, with tons of participation, I usually have to nope out for the duration. The over saturation and redundancy of posts make me really cranky.

I’m doing DITL for the first time this year. It seems pretty simple and because I’m not doing time stamps and documenting by the hour, it’s zero stress. I’m cheating a little because I’ve taken picture all this week.
Definitely won’t be an album, it will be a 12x12 of my cats (black and orange) plus a pocket page to complement with all the other colors.

Seeing all the photos and layouts in Instagram makes me wish I had done this project.
I didn't like the idea of it as DITL but I'm really liking the content out there.
I think in my head DITL was chronological but I guess it's really just about the lens you use to look at your everyday life.
If I have time later this Summer, maybe I'll pick up a kit and have at it.
