I started the day attempting to get color pics, but it was harder than I thought which felt stressful, so I gave myself a pass. I did enjoy seeing what others were thinking about and creating and I like the idea of color as a lens. My plan is to ideate a bit on some ways to use color lens - maybe for WITL, a one off album, etc. its a great idea, but for me I need more thought and prep before I try to do it again.

I just can’t get on board with this color prompt being a DITL thing. It’s a great theme, but better fitted for a story play project. I'm thinking I'll just keep it separate in the album with all the other themes from this collection and also do a more traditional DITL in my PL. I have a ton of past kits to use. |

Has there always been such a fuss over Day In the Life? Kind of sick of seeing all the prep and now the actual day. I’ve done it once or twice in the past, it’s not my thing. To redundant with WITL. Now I wonder if people who don’t do WITL or DD think all the posts about those projects are equally irritating. 🫢 I really enjoyed day in the life through the lens of color. I just did mine as a spread in my project life rather than a separate project. I’ll do with similar with week in the life except I’ll have it be a couple of pages and I’ll do the last week in June like I did last year. I don’t like both projects in the same month. I just ignore all the people sharing after the first couple. |

It won't ship until the 15th but I can take photos of it with the product once it arrives. I didn't buy the main kit but I think the stuff I got should match as it's from the same collection. |

Im using a Flamingo album from there and it matches pretty well with the lighter pink color. I used flamingo last year. It's such a great color. All of the stuff I have over from last year works really well with this year's kit too. |

Yes -- its this Saturday April 15. The prep day class is in the class section for $5.00. Im going to be gone as well so I plan on just watching the videos next week. |

Thank you both! I will have to watch the recordings as well.
Hopefully my stuff from Citrus Twist comes in shortly after that. She said it wouldn't ship until the 15th because the paper was delayed.

It’s fine I’ll find ways to use it but it’s probably my least favorite SBTM I’ve seen (except the vellum which I really like). The story kit is crazy bizarre with the different colors and patterns! Like WTH? The floral print and sky print and red now seem the most out of place. If you removed those I can see the bright colors/floral and black mostly working together… That said I’ll look at it some more and may get it anyway if I can use the individual pierces as the theme is easy to use and I do like mixing and matching with other things I have. But as a kit to use together- just no. |

I like the story kit theme for this month. I think it will be easy for me to use because it's more general. Those are the kits I really like. When the focus is too narrow, I struggle to come up with stories that match the theme. "Now" can apply to a variety of stories.
I'm not crazy about the May SBTM colors. I was hoping for something brighter. Maybe they will look different in real life. I like the text on the kit stamp, but I'm afraid it will be difficult to get the acrylic to stamp properly.
I agree that the add-ons are a mess! What a horrible presentation...it seems like someone isn't doing their job properly!

Ok I watched the videos and I don’t really like any of the kits or the stamp lol. I had the Now kit on skip and it’s staying skipped.
I’m getting the heart pocket add on. Since there are 7 I might use them for WITL.

SUBSCRIBER UPDATE: This month, due to a vendor error, the incorrect plastic word was included in our NOW Story Kit™. A correct digital file has been added to all subscriber accounts. We are working on a physical solution and will have an update this week! Thank you for your understanding.

Even though I don’t want this month’s alpha stamp I really like how there will be new ones each month to add to subscriber’s boxes. I also noticed that wooden alpha can be added for $5. Guess that one didn’t go over well.

I paid full price for that set. I don't regret it as I've used it a lot.
I will go back and trim some of the corners. I can go a little crazy inking up and then it stamps the edge. I don't like that.
It's a steal for $5. Great font.
