Ok, who has their WITL prepped and ready? I still haven't even decided whether I'm doing it or not next week.

Ok, who has their WITL prepped and ready? I have a lot prepped, but not everything finished yet, but I have time because I’ll doing my week either starting 8th of May or even later. I‘m really tired and a lot sleepless, so I don’t have enough energy next week. This will be my first year in 8x10 this year (shocker) - but am really looking forward to a new set up. I will do a lot of stamping in advance for collage pages. Next up is making my own kraft pages for the daily stuff. Made a template to draw lines with a white gel pen and it worked beautifully. Then I will make lists for photos I want to take like Linda did last year @legal_lady, that was a great tip.

Ok, who has their WITL prepped and ready? Not me but I’m also not doing an album or doing it next week. I am Planning maybe a three page spread at the end of my 6 month PL album- doing the same week as last year which was the last week of June (to work as the end of the Al um). I am not 100% set on that and plan to watch prep Day this weekend and then as I watch people’s albums roll in during the next weeks I may change My mind on format. I am definitely not Doing next week, though. Looking forward to seeing what everyone does.

Ok, who has their WITL prepped and ready? Not at all. I ordered from Citrus Twist and it hasn't shipped yet. I feel like I need the album to get started. I'm also not sure I'm going to do it next week. It's the last week of classes and I'm going to be doing so much grading. My brain will hurt at the end of the day, every day. Then on Friday we have to take the kid to DC for history bowl so it won't be a normal week. Pics of DC might be cool but I think it might all just be too much. Trying to think about it while on the road. I think I'm going to wait until May 1. I like working on it a good bit during the documenting week and I'll just have so much more time.

I am tempted to do WITL next week because I find it easier to do with everyone, but I think I am going to wait and do it in May (either the week of the 22nd or the 29th).

Now that you guys mention it, I may wait until May 1st too. I have a lot more fun stuff going on that week. It may work out better for me. I invited a friend over for NSD and maybe I could work a bit on this project too.

I think I would have a problem design-wise dealing with the April/May thing too. It's definitely cleaner to have just May. You could always figure out first how you're going to date it. Maybe you'll have enough room for all of it. It could just work! I'm totally using my massive date rolling stamp from studio calico. I love that thing. Just don't know what I'm going to do at all. And you know what, I'll be gone this weekend too and I won't have time to prep so it's going to have to be May 1. This time of the semester is just too busy.

I'm as ready as I ever am for WITL. I'm doing it next week since it should be an interesting week without being a crazy week. I'll get to include prom/post prom and some graduation party prep, but not the actual party or ceremony, or DS' birthday or baseball games (like most years). My hope is that I can still find a little time to work on it before having to shelve it to get party prep done (and recovery...).

Stamps: I like some of them but not enough to pay full price. If they're still around at the next 40% off sale I may pick up a couple then. WITL: I keep thinking I would like to do this but the task seems so daunting I never actually do it. I did like this year's DITL focused on color, I may do that someday (probably not because I say I will then never follow through )

WITL: Next week is a lull week here so think I am waiting until the April 30 - May 6, or May 7 - 13. I do like doing it with everyone else, but next week is pretty meh. I have the 6x8 album and have slowly been working on the formula set up using this year's kits plus some of last year. Wanting to find some generic patterned paper that matches. I did the prep day which was great and also am doing her WITL storytelling class bc I figured the inso would help me. I definitely want it to be a fun process this year.
Stamps: I bought the Summer half circle one and the new Phrases one that will fit on the Avery labels. I really could see myself using both this month so I pulled the trigger. Agree w all comments about the stamps brought back - meh.

Ready for WITL next week, nothing prepped. I don’t prep other than print out Ali’s daily sheets and a few pages from last years digital notebook. All my journaling goes there. Haven’t even watched the prep day class.
Has she released new templates for this years WITL?

I bought the summer phrases half circles and the lower case alpha. I’ve been wanting a plain lower case alpha for awhile so I was happy to see it.

I’m still on lesson one so TBD, lesson one has videos of every WITL she has done except one and she highlights key points as she goes - so it’s a LONG lesson. There are a ton of free digitals as well. Once I get to lesson 2 & 3 I’ll come back and update my answer.

Might have already been touched on via the 2 peas board, but I just got the remember, wander and history story kits and the cards feel super thin and the printing looks very different, is this a “new norm” like no adhesive on chipboard and crappy quality kit stamps?

I bought the phrase stamp + the big shape stamp. I cannot wait to use the shape stamp to make tags. I had talked myself out of the big shape stamp because it's $28.99, but then I foolishly peeked at Krystal I's Facebook Live yesterday. Ali's stamping is so messy, which is fine for some, but Krystal's take on things really sells the products. Maybe it will sell out and I won't have to decide....

The no adhesive chipboard has been a thing for awhile now...and I hate it. I stopped my sub after "Teach" but have picked up a few kits since that are no-adhesive and I'm so glad I don't sub anymore. The WITL was so bad but thankfully I could put all of the pieces in my album & not have to worry about it. I can't comment on the cards because I didn't notice any big difference on the few I've used.

I did my WITL documenting the week before Easter. Besides favoriting some photos and getting all my journaling into 1 document, I haven't done much else yet. Hoping to get to it this weekend.
I still haven't decided if I want it all digital or hybrid or what size. Historically, I've done them 8.5x11, so I think I may stick with that.
I don't buy any kits, products or classes. I like to see the color theme in my photos for the week, then decide where to go with that.

Well, I’ve completely changed my mind. I was going to add about 2-3 pages to my PL for WITL and do a later week. This afternoon I decided to do next week with the community and do a separate album. I’m doing 6x8 (the yellow WITL album from last year I already had) and just stash busting as the only things I bought from this year’s release were the plastic circles and the morning/evening stamp. I’ll be planning it out tomorrow and we’ll see how it goes! Lol

I caved and bought the new alphabet stamp set "alphas are awesome #1". I have a feeling that the stamps that will be released in this series will be ones I'll have to have 🫣
I'm planning on doing WITL next week along with everyone else. Nothing has been prepped but I don't usually do beforehand hand anyway. I've got a busy week with a 2 day work event and everything else but I love the idea of capturing a slice of what my life looks like now. So I'll take as many photos as possible and create the week later.

Couple of WITL updates from me! First, Storytelling with WITL I went through the handouts for Lessons 2 and 3 and am super happy I purchased the class. I still need to go through the videos - and there are several - but I found the hand outs super helpful to me in thinking through how I want to do this week. One handout was 10-11 pages, and the other 6-8, so lots of content and ideas. Now if you have been doing Ali's courses and content for a while, you will know some of this and some will feel like a different flavor of her content, but I still thought it was helped me think differently and creatively about new ways to do WITL, which was my goal.
Also, in going through the content I realized that what I saw as a meh week this week, is really a great week to capture the more everyday aspects of my week rather than trying to pick a week with lots of things happening. SOOOOO, I started today! I am loving it so far and doing some really different things based on inspiration after reading through the handouts and also looking bath through the prep day content. Feeling excited.
I am using her 6x8 album, both the main and mini kits and pulling in 49 and Market Spectrum Sherbet papers and die cuts to complement the colors from kit. I like having colored papers to use outside of the page protectors. I will check back in as the week goes along, but I am happy so far. I am a SUNDAY first day of the week person, so that is why I started today.

Sounds to me like the prep day course was well worth the $5. I am thinking maybe I need to buy it. I'm not doing mine until next week so I still have time to check it out. So thumbs up on the course?

I haven't been around the scrappy world the past few months (as evident by my 3 months of unopened SC kits 🙃) and I was no longer planning on WITL anymore but then a small part of me is like.. I'm thinking I can wing it with nothing in mind and start documenting tomorrow 🤷 I've got a zoo day picnic and a showing of the Spirited Away play already planned so at least something is happening this upcoming week vs taking time to plan and doing it in May. I have an unused CT album in some kinda blue shade and a grey linen 6x8 AE one I can gut. Might spend the evening flipping through stamps and cards to see what I can scramble together 🤔

Thanks for letting us know about the Storytelling class, Texas Scrap! I'm a Sunday start person as well and decided to just go ahead and take pictures and document today to see how it goes. My kids came over to celebrate my birthday a few days early, so I asked my husband to take pictures of them with me. I love the 49 and Market papers, and those are the only ones I would use outside of the page protectors. They are so sturdy! I've been using both the fronts and backs of them for my 9X12 album since I hate covering up either of the sides. For WITL, I am using the Day One app to do my journaling and to also hold my photos. I am also keeping my Front Pages there just to stay organized. I'm going to use the Project Life app with Ali's main WITL kit, but I'll incorporate bits and pieces of other digital kits when it makes sense. I'm also going to try to use some physical embellishments here and there so my pages aren't so flat. That's the extent of my planning so far!

My topics this week are, in order, what’s cooking, at work, knees (current health issue), facts & feelings, in the garden, my partner, & my kids.
That was the extent of my prep!

So each day will have one of those topics - will it be the whole focus for that day or will you have other daily stuff + that topic? This is my first WITL as a whole album (I did it last year but just added a bunch of extra pages to my PL). I just decided Saturday night to do it so I’m basically winging it over here. Lol
