So far I’m safe from spending any money (including if it goes on mega sale later) for ANY of the new travel release ESPECIALLY the album.
More designs I’ve already seen combined with colours I hate.
What are the peas thoughts so far?

I don’t care about travel releases so I am safe in general. But I actually thought the album was cute and nice and generic for many topics like WITL, etc. I don’t need another album though so I am still marked safe from the release.

There’s a flat lay on IG from 5/24 with a few pieces. They refer mostly to hiking.

Yeah, I don’t have any wilderness adventures planned.

I mentioned above, but will say again, that Hip Kit has a June travel collection coming out soon. I’m so excited, it’s so perfect for urban vacations. Or exploring your own city.

There’s a kit sale tomorrow (Saturday) for those that were asking.

I don't like the July sbtm kit. I love America but I am not into red white and blue as a color scheme.

Watch the rest of the kit be super easy to use.

For months where I've been really excited about the kits, I struggle to use it.

We shall see.

Starting June today. I'm always a bit behind. I need to finish up the last week of May/first of June first. I'll do that this afternoon when I'm taking a break. Everything is in the pockets. Just need to add journaling and a couple more embellishments.

I’m in the same boat paget finally cancelled my Story kit. The nature kit doesn’t interest me at all. I like some of the upcoming themes but will purchase one off if I like them. The kits have been meh this year, especially the color choices.

I actually really like the SBTM kit and the colors. It’s sold out so I guess it was a winner.

Yes! This! It's one day. And it's one day in the US. What about the rest of the entire world? Maybe France can use a bit of that as their colors are similar.

Ugh. Really hoping I can pull enough from my stash to make it work.

I just went through my stash and pulled quite a bit of embellishments for the June kit and a few 3X4 cards. I don't use that many embellishments (like small stickers) in my PL but I think this might be the month. The kit really went well with a Studio Calico June kit I picked up during a sale.

I agree with all of this, especially the Ali burnout and being shortchanged with most of it. I honestly feel like every other week (and for sure, every other month) is a money grab and they are more expensive with less product each time. 

Some thoughts. I am feeling some of the burn out - I know she says lots of offerings for different people/projects, but it does feel like too much and less innovation overall. I actually like the July SBTM. I just looked through it and there are some other colors mixed in and I feel like I can use some of it for July 4, but then easily pivot enough to cover the month and then repurpose some of it to other projects. I love the orange mixed in and plan to just add in some orange, peach and light blue cardstock to make it less red/white/blue overkill. The tags seemed great in the beginning, but I am getting tired of them. 12 months of lots and lots of tags is too many.

I am wishing I had not bought the story play kits as they are still mainly in the original packages. I am also really not interested in the travel collection, except maybe those banner tags - those look useful. This is probably a good thing for me to be reminded I really don't need everything.

I do hope that Ali can continue to bring innovation as her style is still holistically the one I like the most.

I was not planning to sign up for the Stash class, but I did at the last minute.

Just finished the first lesson - which had 4 videos and a 10 page hand out. I had done Linda's plan, prep and play and have watched many videos on organizing and destashing and figured this would not be anything new, but it most definitely was a different take and I really like the way Ali led us through her intentions, setting goals, and then doing an assessment including her walking us through her messy office and talking about what she wants to do to set her room up to enable her to work better. I have to say the handout and process for the first lesson where genuinely helpful to me. Have I destashed and reorganized before multiple times - I have scraps for 30+ years. But having a guided process with questions and "homework" from an Ali perspective was really helpful to me. I like that she is talking about the reality that we need different approaches in different seasons. I really NEED TO do this right now so if you are in situation also, this might be helpful to you too. That said I also think if I was not wanting to already get my stuff organized and better handle on using stash, I would probably not enjoy sitting through the content.

Next lesson comes out next week so I will post an update after that one as well. The first 2 lessons are all about the stash assessment and organization and the last 2 lessons are creating with your stash. I will be traveling during the second 2 lessons, but also happy to post reviews for others if interested.
