I agree it is beautiful! I have a gorgeous ruby ring that I thought would be an everyday ring.... The prongs don't hold up, so I don't often wear it. Was that ring opal or pearl or something? My mind is saying light colored and round... Those are super weak materials that can pick up color (since she's been loving mixed media that would be a concern?)

I'm personally a fan of red, white & blue. I like the high contrast. I know there is an American flag vellum 4x6 and a few 4th of July embellishments, but cannot remember exactly what's in the kit. I mean, those three colors would work for quite a few countries if we are talking about flag colors:

I've been a little out of touch with actual scrapbooking for a while now but I still follow everyone and everything to do with it because it's something I will always love! Having said that (and off topic of the travel release), I usually always try to catch Ali when she goes live and I've noticed for a while that she doesn't wear the beautiful engagement ring that Aaron gave her. I loved it so much and the meaning behind why they loved it and I was curious if anyone knew why she doesn't wear it anymore? I normally don't care about these kinds of things but the meaning behind it always stood out to me as being so special.  Hey! I miss you posting here. <3 |

I got the album, the mini kit, the tag set, and the plastic banners. I was just under the $75 threshold for free shipping so I added the tab stickers and a $3 pen.
I'd rather spend $7 on stuff than $11 on shipping. I wanted the tab stickers but thought I'd wait for them. Oh well. Now they will be mine.
I wanted some of the vellum 4X6 cards. That's all I wanted from the main kit. If anyone doesn't want any of them, please let me know. I couldn't justify the cost for just those cards.
I really like the release.
I'll probably use it for my July Project Life as I will not get much use out of the Uncle Sam sbtm kit.

I know nz national day can be a little contentious recently too… I just don’t know that I’d ever use that much product in those colours! |

I ordered the album, the main kit, the chipboard sheet, and a few shop items (extra page protectors and the 6X8 plastic attachers). This was a terribly impractical order for me since we have no plans to go anywhere this year. Maybe I can convince my homebody husband to take us somewhere just so I can scrapbook about it!
I do have past trips to scrapbook, plus I think some of the supplies are generic enough that they can be used for non-travel.

I just can’t do the tomato red with olive green and coral pink. With yellow. And then cream. It’s just one too many colours I don’t like mixed together for me! This is exactly how I feel and it disappoints me so much because my vacations are primarily camping with hiking. Her kits seem to really be geared toward people who travel like me. But the colors? Ugh. |

It's really hard to be relevant to everyone when it is such a small kit, but it would be nice for most months to throw in a color or two that is not holiday specific and some sentiments that are generalize. ETA - they did includes summer vibes, but that is not seasonal for the entire world AND there is a lovely orange in there, but could be a full orange card or two.... |

I just watched the video of the travel stuff. My boyfriend and I camp a lot each summer, and I have been planning on doing a camping album for years, so some of the stuff definitely speaks to me. I was reading the post jeremysgirl made on the NSBR about hobbyists and the amount of stuff we have, which is making me think about whether I really need to buy anything, though. I've been mentally planning my camping album for four years, but when am I actually going to get started on it? And do I really need to buy more stuff? I have plenty already. Ugh, Becki. I was reading the post jeremysgirl made on the NSBR about hobbyists and the amount of stuff we have, which is making me think about whether I really need to buy anything, though. I've been mentally planning my camping album for four years, but when am I actually going to get started on it? And do I really need to buy more stuff? I have plenty already. Ugh, Becki. Why did you have to make me think? LOL!!! Hahaha...sorry about that!  I actually began my camping album a few years back with an Ali release, maybe 2021? I loved that line. And then I'm thinking 2022 was a dud but last year's was good. In the meantime I also picked up a travel theme from another kit club. The name slipped my mind, but they sell a ton of stamps and I've bought from them so many times. I've only scrapped 2 camping trips so far but I know I have enough travel stuff to at least do another two. So I've got time to work out getting more travel supplies. Who knows? Maybe Ali's travel line next year will be better. But don't let my thread derail your plans to shop. It derails mine, LOL! But don't let it hold you back. |

I made a big order, but I literally had a trip in the last week that those colors will work perfect for. I have to plan that album and bust through it, quickly, because I don't usually care for those colors. I was visiting a whole other part of the country with a landscape I don't usually interact with. Rocks rocks rocks etc.. and... so while I'm mentally feeling the colors, I want to get it done. I make travel books- alot- and they very very often have alot of woodsy stuff because that's what I love. But it's a different landscape, so I'm thrilled to have something soooo different.
If I didn't have this recent trip (still have rocks in my boots, and dust on them!) I wouldn't buy much of this for a future album. That said- I do like the Patagonia feel (another Pea said that and it was like------ YES! That's what it is!) of some of the stamps/chipboard and will definitely get the digital stamps.

Life? Her last one was week 15 (I’m Working on this week - week 25). It’s a little odd to me as during the other weeks she was saying how much she was enjoying it and then it just stopped. I know WITL was in there but it seems like she would have mentioned it at least? Or maybe she has and I missed it. There was one week that was in a story kit instead. I hope she doesn’t continue that route now that I’ve stopped my story kit sub.

Ali said in a video a year or so ago that her wedding ring broke. I do not understand this month’s SBTM kit and am over all of the repeated elements and sayings.
I caved on the Travel Release and bought the Main Kit and Plastic Tags.
I also hope she posts more PL spreads soon. Those are always my favorite!
