I was hoping I'd be back to scrapping today, but DD is sick and home from school today, and she'll want my table. I should be able to finish my cards today, at least. I'm glad you're starting to feel better, LisaDV. Happy Tuesday, everyone! |

Well good evening ladies! I thought I would stop by and see how everyone is doing. I have your cards made and in the envelopes but need to get stamps. I was under the weather today with a sore throat and barky cough so will go tomorrow. I see my family doctor tomorrow also to see about this stuff. I have had laryngitis for a month. I was working on the cards for family and friends this afternoon. Bobby never paid much attention to what the Silhouette does and had a good time watching some of the things it can do. nylene I received your card to day. It is beautifully done and heart warming! I just love it! @ msliz Sorry to hear your DD is under the weather. Hope she recovers quickly! grammadee & justjac I don't know how I would get tanything done with you two! I would probably be laughing so hard ! I am going to get off and work on my cards and you should see them in a few days! Have a great evening! LisaDV you also! Good Wednesday morning, Pokeys! scrapincin and LisaDV, I hope you are feeling better today. And hoping your gloomy weather has improved. The sun is shining brightly here for the first time in days, reflecting happily off the snow on the ground. And msliz, I hope your dd is feeling better, well enough to head off to school and leave your scrapping table to you! I am puttering away on a number of what I call "ketchup" things today: cleaning up the kitchen after we had company for supper last night, printing off the mailing list for Christmas cards to family & friends, editing the scans I made of the reunion scrapbook pages so I can copy them onto a memory stick to take to the printer tomorrow. I may also prepare the dough to be refrigerated for a couple of types of Christmas cookies, but may not get to that today. I am also proof reading parts of dd's Masters' thesis as she sends them to me, and periodically discussing the edits with her on the phone. I am hoping dh decides to go out for lunch today to a neighbourhood restaurant which has been closed for a couple of years but reopening today and featuring all his favorite foods. His arthritis has been bothering him and lets just say his mood this morning is not helping me feel very creative or productive. Anyway, hoping you are all doing well today. |

I drove down to Grand Rapids today with the kids to meet up with Don at the hotel. We went out to dinner together. While driving, Don’s telling me how his phone was misbehaving today. It kept auto writing FART whenever he wrote “sure”. DD starts laughing, she had created a shortcut on his phone to do that like a week ago. Don and I immediately asked if she could show us how.

Wow, msliz, it sounds like you are on a scrappy wave. I want to see what you are making. Your DD must be feeling better too. LisaDV and scrapincin, are you both on the mend again. This is a lousy time to get sick when there is so much to do. Cindy, when do your grands get out of school for Christmas? LisaDV, I had to laugh at the phone FART. Kids! Did you learn how to do it? LOL grammadee, I hope you got all your "ketchup" chores finished. What is your DD doing her Masters' thesis on? That's sweet of you to proof read. Today is the last day of November so I will start a new thread after our meeting tonight or in the morning. This month just flew by!!! |

I forgot to post over here a while ago. I am on the mend. Saw my doctor yesterday and he started me on an antibiotic for 10 days. I am not on antibiotics very often I can't even remember the last time I had to take one. So here's hoping it clears me up! I am going to work on more cards tonight. I have twenty some made already! I will probably make about 10 more and call it quits. So will be back later and see what you girls are chatting about
