Yes - the peroxide. Oh my goodness. Again, I feel embarrassed for her. She simply doesn't seem to grasp that her customers are well-informed, intelligent people, for the most part. I mean, seriously - I work in medicine, too - but I sure don't need that degree to get out a bloodstain.

I believe he is an anesthesiologist.
Her Instagram posts are boring. I’m pretty sure we can all “cultivate” a good life and manage doing so without someone telling me how. She’s lost her touch in the scrapbook market and is grasping at straws. Someone needs to tell her it’s okay to throw in the towel-it was nice while it lasted.

I think peroxide is truly a revelation to her because she has someone else who cleans her house and probably a nanny too when the kids were younger (the cleaning person is confirmed as Beggy has mentioned it, but I’m just speculating on the nanny), so she’s never had to do real housework like the rest of us commoners. |

I respect Becky for her work at Creating Keepsakes and all the sketches she created. Something she is not as skilled at is conveying what works for her while encouraging others to do what works for them. I remember a post in the early days of Project Life (PL) where she explained that she would not be doing more traditional sketches. She was good at explaining why PL saved time and money, but what came through between the lines was NOT here's why PL works for me and some reasons it can work for you. Instead, I got the impression that PL was the way to go and she simply wasn't interested in people who felt differently. I've noticed this repeatedly since then: there's something about her tone that isn't welcoming to people who have different ideas than she does. She could have done more to make traditional scrapbookers more interested in her products. Instead she's developed a niche within a niche, and it's no wonder she might be struggling.  I think she has lost any marketing and business sense she once had. She apparently surrounds herself with those who rubber stamp everything she proposes (maybe they have the same taste, or maybe they just don't dare disagree with her). That is dangerous in the business world, because she can't see that she is painting herself into a corner and becoming less relevant. Once she had ideas that scrapbookers loved. She changed. Her ideas changed. Customer loyalty isn't automatic. If you don't keep in mind your entire customer base, and if you ignore their interests and concerns, you are going to eventually lose their support. |

And am I supposed to be surprised that she found a nice smelling air freshener in (if you can believe it!!) the Magnolia bathrooms?? I also discovered that Glade scent (in, if you can believe it, the guest bathroom at my friend's house). |
