That cannot be real! What a joke.

My husband said Trump should have 'idiot' on his other cuff.

I'm not seeing a problem. I think it's good he wrote talking points down. I'm sure he knew it was going to be a very emotional meeting. I write talking points for myself when I'm going into an emotional situation, so I don't see the issue.

Let's just be happy that he's listening to people and trying to find a solution.

I get why he has it and I agree I would rather him read from cards then talk off the top of his head, but it is incredibly embarrassing, pitiful and just sad that the freaking POTUS needs cards with such basic notes.

Trump has never had to keep his dark side guarded like a career politician. So his notes don't surprise me. I'm confident other popular politicians had the same grooming, just at a younger age so it became a mental checklist they were able to remember even if it wasn't ingrained/instinctual for them.

I'd rather he use talking points and notes than go completely unscripted and off the cuff.

I don't have a problem with anyone having bullet points written down when they are in a discussion. What I do have a problem with in trying to understand that anyone,least of all a father and the President/Leader of any country would need the one that reminds him or her to " hear you"

On the bright side, at least he didn’t write notes on his hand. 😉

I agree. No one said it’s a problem, many just find it incredible that a person in his position would have to be reminded to have empathy.

Seeing that would/May make those wonder about anything he said being sincere.

It’s not a surprise, it just confirms what most already see about him—that he is insincere, unconcerned, and self interested.

The 45 on his cuffs, meh—not a big deal for me, it’s just another glimpse of his vanity and self importance. We already know that about him.

i see it as saving face and buying time til something else happens to distract people from this (another) "blip" that doesn't suit his narrative.

Emotionally charged conversations are the worst. I’ve been in some big ones, and have left the conversation mad at myself for either getting too worked up, or not saying the right things. Wishing I would have had notes to stay on task. And these conversations weren’t about something so severe as what Trump was experiencing.

Not everyone has the ability to stay calm cool and collected as easily as others.



As far as the 45 on his sleeve, who cares? Shouldn’t he be proud of his position? To me, it’s the same as me wearing a company logo shirt around town, or my friend who’s a teacher wearing a “I teach” shirt, or “worlds greatest nurse”

I am no Trump supporter, but having notes in his case is a good thing. I won’t fault him for that, in fact I think people need to pick the big issues to worry about. By doing so your argument against him becomes stronger and not diluted with all the little issues.

The 45 is just nuts but again, I just can’t sweat the small stuff about him. There are too many big issues to worry about.

Really, you think all the presidents are egomaniacs?  I certainly didn’t get that at all from Obama, Bush Jr or Senior or Reagan.  I think Clinton was arrogant, but I don’t think I would classify him as an egomaniac.  Those are all the presidents since I was a child and I think Trump is in a class all by himself on being an egomaniac.  



I prefer presidents who are not self serving and self absorbed, after all their job is to serve the people.
