Y’all make me sad I gave up Easter baskets for my kids long ago. But without your great ideas & Pinterest, I couldn’t think what to put in them.
Now, I have 2 little grandsons. We will color eggs & have a hunt at my house on Thursday . We will be together on Sunday afternoon at my sisters.

I didn't realize Easter was a gift-giving occasion. No baskets here. I don't need knick-knacks, candy, or clutter. So - that's a no??

Everyone who comes to our house for Easter gets an Easter basket, regardless of age. Great, so I see that I need to arrive about noon, what can I bring? Chocolate anything! See you next Sunday!

I wish there were adult Easter egg hunts — I’d be happy with nothing inside and just a chance to win something if I collect a lot of eggs haha. Can you tell I was deprived of egg hunts as a child? I think I’ve only done one in my life. But looking for hidden eggs sounds fun to me for some reason. Like a scavenger hunt. Thinking that people could hide the little travel bottles of alcohol instead of eggs. That would go over well with some adults I know. I'd look for ingredients to make margaritas.

House full of teen boys here. We're down to one basket full of good sized chocolate peanut butter bunnies for each of them and a few eggs for decoration. If they are really lucky (and I remember to buy them) I will tape sonic or iTunes gird cards to the backs of the bunny boxes.

I just make baskets for myself and SO, so I use it mostly as an excuse to buy myself stuff I was gonna buy anyhow. My mom is easy but dad doesn’t really like sweets..... any ideas for a 75year old man? ? Things we frequently gave my grandfather around that age (although not necessarily for Easter): money for the casino, lottery tickets, gift certificates for the restaurant he frequented for breakfast, Japanese plum wine. If he's still driving, what about a gift certificate for gas or a car wash? Or how about a gift certificate for his barber?

Glad to see I’m not the only one that gives my adult son a basket.😊
So far I picked up this chocolate/peanut butter/pretzels trail mix from Costco and a large chocolate bunny. I plan on putting in a gift card from either iTunes or his favorite fast food place in it as well. Also getting ideas here. Keep them coming!

We have always gotten Easter gifts/baskets since we were little kids well into adulthood. I also buy for my dad since my mom passed away. I don't want him to be left out.

In my house it is frowned upon to miss a gift giving opportunity. . At least from my son's point of view. I usually get him a Taco Bell gift card for VD and apparently missed that opportunity, so Easter baskets were a not so gentle reminder this year.

i don't do baskets but fill up plastic eggs with some mini-cadbury eggs, mini caramilk eggs, jelly beans and gummy bunnies... we hide them for two younger boys, DD won't get out of bed to hunt so we dump it all in a bowl and they split it all in 3 and share.
i might get them a small gift card too (i mean $10 itunes, starbucks, tim hortons) but nothing extravagant.

I still make up a basket for my 28 year old daughter and my mother makes me one, albeit much simpler fun when I was young. I also make treat bags for anyone showing up at my house for Easter lunch.

One of my adult kids posted that to me a few days ago.. I get her a little something because she is at home and I have a 9 year old.. but I don't get nothing but a few candy things for her. My mom didn't do much for us as we got older but she did so much for us in other ways, it didn't matter nor did I think of it. I hope my kids feel the same way.

My husband and I give each other baskets (why should the kids have all the fun?! LOL!) It's mostly small things-- candy, bottles of Snapple, and the occasional bigger item like a t-shirt!

I had stopped giving DD an Easter basket when she was about 15--for one year. She said "all her friends" (I know--they always say this!!) still got Easter baskets. I asked around and yeah, I was the bad mom. So she still gets one--going on 25. A few years ago I got her a plastic kids sippy cup that she uses for wine. Funny that one of her roommate's moms got her roommate the same thing! ETA—here’s a pic of her Easter basket she’s getting. It’s really cute, got it at Homegoods.
