My son just sent me this on FB. He's 21. I bought him a North Face sweatshirt (outlet store), some Zots, and some root beer candy. He'll be good with it, but it is funny how he is not ready to let "little kid" traditions die. We usually travel out of the country at Easter, so I haven't gotten him anything in a few years. This year we will be home. Anyone else have a kid who lets you know that they aren't too old for holiday gifts?

We got Easter backers in my family well into our 20s.
And we hunted for eggs until we had kids of our own because grandma put cash in them.

The grandpa put $50 bills in a few of the eggs and then made them really hard to find. The rest just had $1's, 5's and 10's. I'd go searching too.

I’m 29 and still get an Easter basket. The same pink and green basket I’ve had since I was a little girl.

We go to my son's house, and my ddil makes my husband and I a basket!! haha! They put money in the kids eggs too, but it's more like .50 and .25/ The golden eggs get a 1.00 in them!! They are so funny when they find the golden eggs! It's like they won a fortune.

I’m 51 and I’m thinking this year might be my last Easter basket. My dd is my EB and she’s getting married soon and moving out, so I’m sure it will stop. DH doesn’t get into stuff like that although he loves his basket each year. lol This year, I have both couples to make baskets for and need to get started.

Everyone in my house still gets an Easter Basket.
DS1 (18) is getting a Texas Tech shirt, Sonic gift card, candy, and probably a Chick Fil A gift card. Might try to find him a new swimsuit.
DS2 (16) is getting a Steam Gift Card, McDonalds & Burger King Gift Card, candy and probably a new pair of running shorts.
DH is getting fishing lures, gift card to a store that sells seasonings for our grill, and probably a new shirt.
I am getting an ulta gift card, and candy.

I will be getting my kids Easter baskets till they have kids of their own. I'm excited over the moon cause my son will be home for a visit from the Air Force for Easter and won't have to ship his basket to him across country and get to enjoy seeing him get it!!

I got an Easter basket from my mom until a couple of years ago when--I was probably 48 or 49. She stopped when she got dementia and could no longer shop etc.
For the last dozen years or more (since DH the kids and I moved back close to family) I have made my mom and dad an Easter basket. This is the first Easter without my mom, but my Dad will still get a basket and it will have flowers to plant for mom.

My family's love language is gifts. My mother decided it and we perpetuate it. Easter is next weekend and I need to get something for DS and my DDIL. I have no idea what to get them. They just moved into their own apartment so should I get them a lamp maybe? New towels? Chocolate? Ideas?

Every year I ask my sons if they're too old for Easter baskets. Every year I get a resounding "of course not!" They are only 18 and 15, but they claim they will always want Easter baskets.😂

My dd sent me that same meme LOL.
I don't buy them a lot of gifts but they do get chocolate and goodies from a local bakery. I'm just happy to have all of them in the same house for a weekend and they are happy to eat my food.

DD is 30 and still gets a basket. Usually it is some nice chocolates and a gift card. DH gets some chocolates. Everyone who comes to our house for Easter gets an Easter basket, regardless of age. What time should I plan to be there for lunch?!

My young adult atheists look forward to their baskets and will happily accept one for both Western and Orthodox Easters. Along with earbuds & gift cards, they are fans of Trader Joe treats and things like jelly bean dropping wind up toys that make the puppy crazy.

Daughter is getting a box. Filled with instant food, herbal cold tea, a small jar of Nutella, quinoa , farro, bulger, Oreo thin mint cookies, salt water taffy, some coffee things that are funny.... I can't remember the rest. It weighed over 10 pounds. I got my money's worth on this shipment.

I got my present on Friday. BFF and I were at the mall and they had these adorable Reebok shoes in dusty rose and that is my all time favourite colour. I had to get them!

My oldest is 25 and my youngest 16. I have no plans to stop giving Easter baskets anytime soon. It’s still fun for them and for me.

We always spend Easter with my sister and her family. We started the tradition after our firsts were born.
On Saturday we gather at my house for egg dying, an outdoor egg hunt (plastic eggs with candy inside) and a meal together.
Sunday Morning we have Easter baskets and an inside egg hunt with the dyed eggs before church and then head to my sister’s house for an early dinner followed by games.
Our children are all in their 20’s except for my sister’s youngest who is 17. Every year they all insist they are not too old for our Easter traditions!

We've never done Easter Baskets, they just aren't a thing here. Most people do chocolate and maybe winter pyjamas because we are moving into cooler weather but not other gifts/baskets. I will get my dd 20 and her boyfriend something small and my husband insists on him having an Easter Bunny visit LOL

I do Easter baskets for my adult sons and my DH. Last year I did one big nest for everyone to snork from but this year I am going back ot just filling baskets with candy.
DS1 will share his with his girlfriend at his house, DS2 can hoard his in his room, and DH will just have a few of his favorites in a small basket.
I don't see any reason to stop giving baskets but I certainly don't hide them anymore. If my family was bigger I love the idea of hiding eggs with cash for everyone to hunt!

I didn't realize Easter was a gift-giving occasion. No baskets here. I don't need knick-knacks, candy, or clutter.
