Report: Trump businesses make millions from GOP groups, federal agenciesBY LUIS SANCHEZ - 04/16/18 08:48 AM EDT Political groups and federal agencies gave President Trump’s businesses at least $15.1 million since 2015, according to a report to be released Monday obtained by McClatchy. The money was given to Trump’s businesses during his presidential campaign and the first 15 months of his presidency, according to the liberal watchdog group Public Citizen. The Trump campaign spent about 90 percent of the total money, or $13.4 million. The Republican National Committee gave more than $717,000 and the RNC and Trump campaign joint fundraising committee, Trump Victory, gave almost $595,000. Two political action committees (PACs) spent $57,000, McClatchy reported. McClatchy points out that in 2013 and 2014, political spending at Trump’s properties didn’t total more than $20,000.The president often spends time at a number of his properties, causing the government to spend money at such facilities.Trump broke precedent by not fully divesting from his businesses before being sworn into office. The president placed his holdings in a trust to be run by his sons and can revoke that trust at any time. Ethics experts had urged Trump to sell off his assets and place the proceeds into a blind trust, calling it the only way to remove any possible conflicts between his business empire and his presidency. thehill.com/homenews/administration/383316-trump-businesses-make-millions-from-gop-groups-and-federal-agenciesI understand that prior to the election income at the dt properties should not be counted, however part of the above income is listed as during the first 15 months of his term. They only gave the IRS a check for $151,470.00 $100,000 plus, maybe more(can't find the number). The rest of the percentage went to his campaign committee?

^Heh. (From another article): "For those of you who understand what I was saying, thank you," Bevin said. "I know a tremendous amount of people didn't fully appreciate what I was communicating."
Just another version of the "Sorry, not sorry" apology.
This is the chief executive of a state who thinks his teachers, demanding desperately needed money and resources for themselves and their students, are "selfish." If he's trying to say there are no resources, there are so many better ways to say it.
In both instances, words matter. Especially when there's so much subtext (lazy, underworking, undeserving, criminally negligent teachers.) They're teacher dogwhistles.

She is a slippery, slimey, manipulative, lying, devious snake. Sometimes I think they try so hard to point the finger that they don't realize how stupid they look. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if SHE is the main leaker in the WH.

Agreed, he is awful!! This is the chief executive of a state who thinks his teachers, demanding desperately needed money and resources for themselves and their students, are "selfish." If he's trying to say there are no resources, there are so many better ways to say it. The legislature overrode his veto and passed the school spending..

This is why New Jersey is not happy with today's House! We are working for change! Poll suggests GOP lawmakers in New Jersey could be wiped out in NovemberBY LUIS SANCHEZ - 04/16/18 01:11 PM EDT Every Republican House member from New Jersey is in danger of losing their seat in this year’s midterm elections, according to a new Monmouth University poll. The survey released on Monday finds Democrats with a 19-point advantage statewide on the generic ballot, with 54 percent of respondents saying they plan to or are leaning toward voting for Democrats, compared to only 34 percent for Republicans. Monmouth pollers say this puts all five of New Jersey's GOP-held seats at risk. “This is pretty astounding. Not only are New Jersey Democrats doing better on the generic House ballot statewide, but the shift is coming almost entirely from districts currently held by the GOP,” said Patrick Murray, director of the independent Monmouth University Polling Institute. “If these results hold, we could be down to just one or two — or maybe even zero — Republican members in the state congressional delegation after November.” ** New Jersey residents’ negative view of President Trump is seen as the main factor for these results, according to the poll, and the Republican tax law is another potential cause. ** thehill.com/homenews/house/383368-poll-suggests-gop-lawmakers-in-new-jersey-could-be-wiped-out-in-november

Trump lawyer's previously unnamed client is Sean HannityBY AVERY ANAPOL - 04/16/18 03:05 PM EDT President Trump's personal lawyer revealed Monday that he represents Fox News' Sean Hannity, after a federal judge ordered him to reveal the client's identity at a hearing. Michael Cohen, Trump's personal attorney, attended a hearing on Monday over the documents seized during an FBI raid on his office and hotel room earlier this month. Cohen has disclosed his work for Trump, including that he paid $130,000 to adult film star Stormy Daniels, who claims the payment was to keep her quiet about an affair with Trump. It was also revealed that Cohen helped negotiate a $1.6 million payment to a former Playboy model who claimed she involved with RNC deputy finance chairman Elliott Broidy, and that he impregnated her. Cohen's legal team had sought to keep Hannity's identity anonymous in the hearing because of his public prominence, but U.S. District Judge Kimba Wood ordered Cohen to reveal the identity of his third client. "We have been friends a long time," Hannity told the Wall Street Journal's Rebecca Ballhaus. I have sought legal advice from Michael." thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/383396-trump-lawyers-previously-unnamed-client-is-sean-hannityAxios too: "Sean Hannity was revealed as Michael Cohen's mystery third client in a Manhattan federal court proceeding today — after the judge ruled that the client's identity must be disclosed. Why it matters: Sean Hannity continued to cover the Cohen raid on his Fox News program without disclosing that he was also one of Cohen’s clients." www.axios.com/michael-cohen-3rd-third-client-sean-hannity-4581c096-dc15-46f2-8888-53001f5dfba6.html?utm_source=sidebar@bergdorfblonde thought you would like to see this..........

This has been talked about before but to see the statement is all too real. The case was dropped after the witness was threatened with her life.
This fucking disgusting excuse for a human needs to be in jail with his “best buddy and great guy” Epstein.

To be read in a Mr. Rogers tone of voice: "Can you say "conflict of interest? I know you can! repeat after me..." ETA: boy, it seems like it's taking a long time for Mueller to get it over with, but it seems like he's going to be exterminating the whole nest of hornets while he's at it, not just swatting the couple he sees. (more like 'getting rid of the slugs after turning over a rock in the garden' actually...)

More info from CNN: Michael Cohen's mystery third client is Sean HannityBy Kara Scannell and Shimon Prokupecz, CNN Updated 3:23 PM ET, Mon April 16, 2018 New York (CNN)Donald Trump's personal attorney Michael Cohen also represents Fox News host Sean Hannity, Cohen's attorneys said Monday afternoon. Cohen had told the court earlier he had at least 10 clients between 2017 and 2018, including the President, and the former GOP fundraiser Elliot Broidy who acknowledged paying $1.6 million to a Playboy model with whom he had an affair. Judge Kimba Wood ordered Cohen to attend and provide information about his clients as she weighs an emergency action by Cohen's attorneys to stop prosecutors from reviewing more than a dozen electronic devices and documents seized during a FBI raid of Cohen's office, home and hotel room last week. Cohen's lawyers had publicly identified Trump and Broidy as clients, but only revealed Hannity's name after the judge ordered them to. ** Prosecutor Thomas McKay told the judge during a sidebar session on Friday, "This is a fast-moving investigation. We are devoting a large amount of resources to the whole case but, in particular, to our filter team to get this review done very quickly."** www.cnn.com/2018/04/16/politics/michael-cohen-hearing/index.html** 21 min ago Fox News' Shepard Smith says Hannity's producers are trying to contact him
Shepard Smith just said Sean "Hannity's producers are working to contact him" after word broke that the Fox News host is Michael Cohen's mystery third client. "For us, the elephant in the room is that Sean Hannity is said to have been a third client of Michael Cohen," Smith said. "Hannity's producers are working to contact him" and, "We'll report on it when we know the rest of it." Waiting for a statement.....

What level of arrogant do you have to be to cover this raid in such a sanctimonious way...how do you now determine that your relationship with Cohen won't be exposed?! It's just...I mean, it's...INSANE!!!

Jeffrey Epstein is a major slimebucket and he and Trump have been tight for years. It is well recorded that they partied together for years. Another of the 'very fine people' surrounding Trump. And I don't know how to post the picture here, but it has been on Instagram all weekend. The photo of Cohen Friday afternoon sitting in an outdoor cafe (http://dailycaller.com/2018/04/13/michael-cohen-cigars/), surronded be other men smoking cigars includes Jerry Rotunda, A Duetsche Band executive. NBC humiliated when Ronan Farrow wins Pulitzer for Weinstein expose after Peacock passedBy Brian Flood | Fox News NBC News was humiliated on Monday when Ronan Farrow won a 2018 Pulitzer Prize for a story that the network mysteriously decided not to run – letting the New Yorker claim an award that could have gone to the Peacock Network. Pulitzer Administrator Dana Canedy announced at Columbia University that Farrow’s expose in the prestigious New Yorker on now-disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein shared American’s most glamourous journalism prize when it split the public service award with the New York Times. Canedy called Farrow’s work “explosive, impactful journalism” that exposed powerful sexual predators and launched the #MeToo movement. Farrow’s reporting helped expose Weinstein as a sexual predator, though the truth about the disgraced Hollywood mogul could have surfaced months earlier if it hadn’t been spiked by embattled NBC News President Noah Oppenheim and his boss, NBC News Chairman Andy Lack. NBC claimed that Farrow’s story as they’d seen it did not meet their editorial standards. After the Peacock Network passed, The New Yorker jumped at the opportunity to publish Farrow's work and was rewarded with the Pulitzer Prize.
