That is :: roflmao:: without the space How did I not know that all these years?? I type almost all of the commonly used commands and emoticons instead of taking the time to go into the menu bar. I dunno how you survived cause it's a good one I use several times weekly. Now ya know. When you know better, you do better.

Oh, please. Were you losing your shit when Obama traveled the globe apologizing for the U.S.? I bet you weren't.
And now another republican is in office, so another Democrat will have to come along and do an even bigger apology tour. We wouldn’t have to apologize if your side would quit acting like jackasses.

why, oh WHY, do I read the comments on these things? I clicked on one of the Pro-Trump comments underneath John McCain's Twitter link to his 'this was a disgraceful display' statement. This is an actual reply to his tweet: "It may not be a coincidence that your JEALOUSY and HATE for Presidnet Trump has brought u down to brain cancer, u best REPENT of your divisivness, jealousy and hate towards a great president who is working hard putting America First." sometimes people just turn my stomach. I can’t even....disgusting!

I have a busy day at work and miss all the lowdown dang it.
I won't miss samiam. She was wicked to the core and if that is the heart of devildog, that is deeply disappointing, but I've spent the last couple of years being disappointed by the duplicity of Trump supporters & apologists.
Trump's backtracking is laughable, but I'm sure his core ate it up and Fox News is back to being his biggest cheerleader. Not that I'll watch to find out. Good Lord, everytime I say I'm going to go 30 days without booze, I can't even get 24 hours in before Trump and the GOP make me want to get the corkscrew out. But I have a race next month and that's my tradition. No booze for a month prior to a race. Stop screwing with my tradition!

I'm just getting home from work to hear the stunning news of Samian/Devildog. Trolls are pathetic. I would say I'm glad they are gone, but I know they will be back. Just like Lauren went away, but we know she is still here.

maybe @bergdorfblonde meant 'Lauren threads' instead of 'threats' ?? sometimes she would post interesting, non-controversial threads about cooking or coloring. Spelling the Lauren part wrong though is pretty sweet. I despised devildog's avatar. The guy in the Walmart bag creeped me out something awful. And since I can't specifically remember any of her posts, I'm just glad that avatar is gone! The spelling mistake was not done on purpose it was just a case of fat finger 😎

I couldn't remember for the life of me, even though the only 2 lines that I know of the song kept playing through my head ovah and ovah I could not for the life of me place the vocals. I wouldn't be too worried, you got in fairly early and you showered her with tunes, you shared a moment it'll make it harder to be bumped I have a busy day at work and miss all the lowdown dang it. I think it's time to admit you're going to have to start a new tradition until 2020 at least, no way can you go a month in this climate. Or take up chocolate instead of booze, but I don't imagine that'll help much with the racing.

what Laren Threats ...what did I miss ? maybe @bergdorfblonde meant 'Lauren threads' instead of 'threats' ?? sometimes she would post interesting, non-controversial threads about cooking or coloring. Nope, I was referring to this post (that I knew nothing about until today): "I don't thing she said anything to get banned for. But you maybe right about having more than one profile? Now Lauren on the other hand should be banned. I think wishing someone dead should be grounds for being banned. But on the other hand banning does no good when they can just turn around and make a new profile. There really should be a list somewhere of the rules."

Not aware of a recent threat, but Lauren has handed out threats in the past.

Lauren only ever posted homemaker of the year crap about soft furnishings or pastry recipes as a diversion from the political bile she had spewed elsewhere. Her alter ego does the same.
I am not sorry to see the back of that hideous avatar of the man in the bag. Nor am I sorry to see the back of samiam. She'll be back.

This is from Sky News. There was a video too but I can’t link to it.
“Trump reverses Russia meddling remark, saying he mis-spoke at news conference Donald Trump has backtracked on his claim that he "didn't see any reason" why Russia would be involved in US election meddling.
“In a startling U-turn, Mr Trump said he mis-spoke at a news conference with Vladimir Putin and meant to say he didn't see any reason why Russian wouldn't be responsible for interfering in the 2016 vote. The US president admitted "there's a need for some clarification", adding that what he meant "should have been obvious - I thought it would be obvious but would like to clarify in case it wasn't". He said: "In a key sentence in my remarks I said the word 'would' instead of 'wouldn't'." Mr Trump was speaking after returning from a summit in Helsinki to widespread anger over his performance during a news conference with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. Read More Wednesday's national newspaper front pages Strawberries and cream after a quiet swim 'I said would instead of wouldn't' 'That was strange': Trump plunged into darkness He added that he had "full faith and support" for US intelligence agencies and "accepts" their conclusion that there was Russian interference. However, he added: "It could be other people also. A lot of people out there. There was no collusion at all". "I have felt very strongly that while Russia's actions had no impact at all on the outcome of the election, let me be totally clear in saying that - and I've said this many times - I accept our intelligence community's conclusion that Russia's meddling in the 2016 election took place," he said. Mr Trump failed to condemn Russia's alleged interference on Monday, instead saying: "I have great confidence in my intelligence people but I will tell you that President Putin was extremely strong and powerful in his denial today." Almost as soon as the words were spoken, journalists, political commentators and politicians expressed bemusement and anger, with former CIA director John Brennan describing the remarks as "treasonous". :: Could Trump be impeached after 'disgraceful' news conference with Putin? Mr Trump is meeting with members of Congress, with many of them having joined the chorus of condemnation. Speaker of the House Paul Ryan said earlier: "Let's be very clear - Russia meddled in our election". Mr Ryan added that Congress would make sure Russia was not able to "get away with (election meddling) again". Mr Trump's pliable manner at Monday's summit with Russia had been in stark contrast to the combativeness he had displayed towards NATO allies last week, and Mr Ryan felt the need to issue reassurance that the US "stands by NATO allies and all countries facing Russian aggression". Reacting to Mr Trump's turnaround, senate minority leader Chuck Schumer said: "24 hours is too late and in the wrong place". More from Sky News Website Mobile App

Donald just fixed everything by retroactively amending the transcript of his televised statement about election meddling to read, “I don’t see any reason why it WOULDN’T be Russia,” instead of "WOULD be Russia."
He also clarified that he likes to grab women by their puppies.

Getting back to the talk of Trump winning a second term. I honestly think he's going to have at least one if not two primary challengers. I think both John Kasich and Marco Rubio will challenge him and I for one can't wait to see all that go down.
As far as the Democrats, we need to concentrate on NOW, not two years from now. Let's not lose sight of what we need to do in November and that's turn at least the Senate blue, if not both Houses so we can render this prick a lame duck for the next two years or use him for our bidding because everybody but his base knows that until recently, he was considered an Democrat elitist Manhattanite. He doesn't care which party puts legislation in front of him, he's only worried about WINNING.

Now they don't have to speak out against him and can resume kissing his ass. It's party over country for those in office.
