She opens and closes that vault as much as Disney's movie team does.

Classes are going back into the vault. You better get on those before they disappear forever... (or until she takes them back out of the vault next year). I think I'm experiencing deja vu.

zingermack if the lender cancels the debt, they can issue a 1099-C for the "forgiven" amount which becomes income to the debtor. So the debtor would have to claim that forgiven amount as income and be taxed on it. However, if you get the right tax attorney that specializes in this thing, there are many ways to get around it. *raises hand* I'm the right tax attorney. Unfortunately, though, it doesn't take a great tax attorney to get them out of it. If they filed for bankruptcy (personally, not her business which is a separate entity for tax/legal purposes) it would be exempt. If they did not file for bankruptcy but were personally insolvent prior to the cancellation of debt then it would be exempt from tax (and it's easy to manipulate this situation if you own your own business). But, if they don't qualify for either of those (which my guess is they don't without creative accounting) they can exclude up to $2,000,000 in cancellation of debt from a mortgage on their primary residence as long as the debt was cancelled before 2021 (when there are recessions, laws like this typically end up on the books). So yeah, easy peasy. (ETA: Yes, I looked that up briefly just to make sure I remembered correctly... and yes I had the correct Internal Revenue Code section number memorized so I knew exactly where to look...) *sorry for my tax nerd status... I'm going to go back to scrapbooking now...*

Oh peas, coming off a fall break. Had way too much time and I went down a rabbit hole. Read about a Mormon mommy blogger/Instagram influencer Jordan Page traveling from covid infested Utah to the Northeast because guys! Her and Bubba haven't got away from their 7 month old twins. And the rest of the world?? To be fair, there was a funeral, but HEY! Sight seeing! Apparently lots of NEGATIVE comments were deleted. This is NOT a covid conversation! Oye! her response completely clueless or trying to sound like she doesn't understand the comments? They met up with some other Mormon influencer family who just did a sponsored post for Tide about..... the pandemic. Her brief post about the weekend trip was quickly followed with two posts about THE TWINS and a question about Photo books because guys!!! Scrapbooking takes too long. Do you see where this is going? I thought I know a girl. Then this.....

They left Utah to come to the Northeast to get away from their babies? Am I reading that right? Sorry Jordan, maybe you shouldn't have had children if you can't handle raising them.

She's awful: https://www.reddit.com/r/blogsnark/comments/j9sf1u/jordan_page_october_1218/ Sounds just right for Becky. Not to mention they both shill the same Mormon brands like Shine, Rad swimsuits, etc.

She just announced a Project Life app update 3.1 for Apple. Sounds like 3.2 is coming soon as well. Android users still don't have 3.0. She's "hoping" it will be available by the end of the year. She's been saying that for at least 6 months! Clearly, non-Apple users are at the very bottom of the priority pile. This is rather insulting. I'm seriously considering deleting the app.

Android users with their stone tablets, carving their selfies and making pretend-calls... Becky's elitist bubble can't be burst, even when defaulting on her home payments behind the scenes, she'll stick to her "only the best and forget the rest" attitude. Android is over 86% of mobile phone users globally and growing. Eighty-freakin'-six.

BH also created a line of hand-drawn bible study stickers to emulate the doodles she puts in her Book of Mormon.

Just in case we have a non-Mormon lurker willing to preorder from Deseret Book... They might be in a for a surprise when they get their order.

Is it bad that I like the shoe sponsor she has, but I refuse to align with a Mormon based company. So I emailed them and asked. They look to be a big brand but that doesn’t mean anything. It bugs me to no end that she and her sponsors are all just one big circle jerk of Mormon sponsorships.

I thought people couldn't get enough of the notebooks and they always sold out. If so, why would they be giving them away?

I am not defending BH at all but I do have to say that getting an app to work on an Android device is a tad more challenging than an iPhone. The reason is because there are so many different Android phones and they don't all render in the exact same way like iPhones do. That being said, it's not impossible and it may take more work but with so many people using Android devices it's no excuse to be so much farther behind on the Android development. And there are tons of Android developers out there so drop some cash and find an efficient one instead of some college student intern.

Our app is built so that it is deployed on the same day for ios and android. She picked a bad build environment if she can't have someone code it and then have two build pipelines one for each platform.

Android really isn't *that* hard but you need someone or a team who is not only familiar with it and one of the necessary coding languages (Java or Kotlin). That an app update comes a few weeks later for Android is totally fine. That you're releasing new version upon new version for iOS while not offering any updates for Android shows your elitism and preferential treatment of the vast minority of people globally. That's not finding your niche; that's searching for a cave.

I have noticed that Becky tends to think is a very small box and perhaps she is only looking at US users for iPhone use. The US is much higher with iPhone usage and is a little less than half.

It makes no sense if you're trying to grow you brand, however. Especially for a digital offer. Android is still the bigger player in the US with over 51% vs 45% for iOS. The argument really doesn't hold no matter how you look at it. It's still elitism, both globally and nationally.

She isn't out to grow her brand beyond what she wants to do. If she was, she would have made many different decisions about her brands.

She continues to think that she only wants to offer what she wants to use which is an iPhone app in this case. Same with the freakin' rounded corners and many repeat cards in the core kits, etc. Becky will never ever admit that she keeps making the same dumb, unprofessional mistake. I really don't care. I don't miss the PL app at all and never actually used it once I paid for it. I'm just in awe of her commitment to such foolishness.
