I read the BH live event email and that's a big nope from me.
The class outline on the BH website is perfectly fine but the email is a train wreck. "Come to our event! Tickets are for sale but it's Easter weekend and our kids are out of school and we won't be on the computer to answer any of your questions about our overpriced event, but guys! Only 100 tickets! JUST DO ITTTTTTT!"
It sounds like, based on the class description, your $167 gets you 7 hours of lectures and some swag. I could buy some nice scrapbooking product for $167. Nothing about this interests me.

But YOU GUYS! Friends, you get a Notebook! Stone wrap! A water bottle! And fun times with BH and gang! Cultivate a good life and record it (in a notebook, cuz ain’t nobody got time to scrapbook, amiright?)!!!!!! At the low, low price of less than $24/hour! And don’t expect us to feed you lunch for that price. But you can learn how to make a perfect grilled cheese.
Don’t forget, you also get worksheets that can not be purchased anywhere (yet)!
Maybe there will even be a group cry sesh!

If possible Becky P seems even worse than Becky H. Went over to check stories to see about the fab event and caught field day/broken toe saga instead. Becky P was middle-aged-white-lady-dancing, which is fine to do w/your friends at a bar or their house - not at field day which is supposed to be about the kids, ffs. If I were their kids I'd be mortified.

It is just a detail, and I am not a native speaker (I may have misunderstood), but I don’t like it when things are made to look better than they are.

I remember when Becky first came out with Project 365, which was the precurser to Project Life. It was a kit that Becky created for Creating Keepsakes. The demand was so huge that the Creating Keepsakes website crashed and the phone lines were jammed. It was a huge PR nightmare for CK and it seemed like CK threw Becky under the bus. I was a newcomer to the CK forum at the time and I was drawn in by the drama. I have to say that at the time I was impressed with how Becky handled the fallout. She was very apologetic and communicated status updates at a time when CK went silent. She formed her own company to offer the product that was so in demand and renamed it Project Life. Somewhere along the line she lost her customer focus and business sense. I remember that tooooo got mine from qvc ! |
