The post of her kid and how she was HEARTBROKEN, I thought someone died, at the very least a family pet. Came here and read back a few pages. So she was condescending to scrapbookers on iNSD and now she is acting like the victim. Deletes the post and blocks comments on the post of her kid. Wow! That post says less judgement, more building each other up. Yet she thinks if you are still paper scrapbooking you suck, as her reply to the question do you ever miss the way you used to scrapbook at all?

I can agree with her that scrapbooking evolves. Some embrace other forms digital, photo books etc. Memory keeping is all encompassing it can be the journal you keep, the way you display your photos or memories around your home. That's how we get our inspiration, motivation to memory keep and joy. But as someone who sells a scrapbooking product, even a digital app, you'd think she'd be more about sharing more memory keeping than wrapping paper, house building and crying on her business page.

i rolled my eyes there too... over dramatic, yet in her heartbreak, and overwhelm she thought she needed to wait for optimal lighting for the photo? Seriously? 

Looks like I missed another one of Becky's infamous shitshows. Oh, the drama with this woman! Looks like she played boohoo-woe-is-my-hurt-ego victim after people on social media finally called her out on her cow crap.

I doubt AC have acquired the PL brand. They've stopped caring about this one whereas they are putting in a lot of work for other umbrella brands like Crate Paper, Pebbles, BoBunny, etc. It's just Becky getting pinched in her butt full of lies and arrogance. Combined with the stress of the McMansion (one of my fave ex-Mormon podcasts talked at length about the amount of debt or on-the-edge finances of Mormons who play into the keeping-up-with-the-Joneses thing apparently very hard, putting them in tough situations even when they have successful careers with cushy salaries), midlife crisis, her deeper active involvement in the Church (can't remember what she mentioned getting involved in a few months ago but it's some sort of group leadership role, be it a lower level in the General Relief Society or elsewhere), it must've hit her hard. The door to reality was ajar for a hot five minutes and she got uncomfortable. I bet she's already back in her bubble of delusion with her shoulder patters on the PL payroll surrounding her to say: "There, there, don't listen to the mean online bullies. 'Tis only demons, the spawn of the devil."

Sigh. I need a solid drink before I read this thread these days, I swear.

I reached out to American crafts yesterday after finding they aren’t listing project life as one of their brands. I’ve gotten two generic responses. The first being if I have a product description they could look up the item for me, the second was no products for “project life” were found so they must be sold out. It is very clear what I am asking so I am not sure if I am getting bad customer service or if perhaps they don’t want to disclose anything at the moment. I’ve asked for my last email to be forwarded to a superior that knows if Project life is indeed an American crafts brand and if they are still manufacturing products. I have not heard back yet.

I never think it's ok to have a mean girl pile on, but dang what has happened to Becky? I've been a fan since her CK days. I loved her sketches and then I came to love the pocket scrapbooking concept. It's just too hard to support her anymore. I miss the inspiration she used to share. I don't wanna be preached at about how to live my best life....just give me the products to scrapbook it.

Someone is listening

From previous posts, I’ve been under the impression that they record their podcasts ahead of time. So this may just be a coincidence. Or they recorded one at the last minute. I’ve been wondering if there have been emergency staff meetings since yesterday’s fiasco.

I would love to be a fly on that wall.

I get creepy weird vibes from Becky P. She seems very controlling and I’m-now-your-bestie-you-must-attach-me-to-everything-you-do. YMMV.

I actually don't mind this note from Becky P. It's much more succinct than Becky H's communications. It makes me wonder if the podcast she's describing is the same kind idea that Becky H has been struggling to try to describe with her Rise and Shine event video and the counseling the cancer patient thing (brag?): including altruistic goals in your personal documenting in the hopes that talking the talk will inspire you to walk the walk.

If that's it, that's cool. Maybe makes sense for some? It's not for me though. I'd rather skip the talk the talk part; sharing stories (Instagramming) about the altruistic thing you're planning to do, or already did, seems immodest to me. I'd rather just do the helpful thing and shut up about it. 

But if they're into it, and they have customers willing to buy that idea from them, sheeple who want to pay to be preached to, good for them I guess. $$$

Over the weekend I was browsing at Scrapbook.com and Beckyhiggins.com for divided page protectors. I noticed right away that neither site has as much PL product as they once did. Does anyone think maybe PL is just being fazed out? I mean it could happen right? All of her partnerships with like Stampin Up have ended and the big box stores have all basically dropped the line. Becky herself doesn't use the physical product. While I have enough PL type cards from various companies to last 3 lifetimes it still makes me sad to think of the product line ending.

Cause now I’m just stalking, Becky P. posted some IG stories with her kids at a pottery painting thing. I’m 90% sure Becky is with them. Proudfit was panning the camera and you can catch a glimpse of Becky’s face before she starts panning in the other direction. And she isn’t mentioned at all. Clearly, she is laying low at least until tomorrow.

The Beckys don’t support PL product visually online so sales go down. Stores see declining sales of said product, so they don’t restock or reorder, making it hard for customers to find a place to buy said product from. Customers give up on PL and move to other companies that are providing similar product and are easily accessible. The Beckys wonder what happened to all their customers who wanted to buy the products they decided not to support.
