Wow!!! Such a lot of creativity in this thread! I have just finished leaving love for all the August creations in the Gallery, so will focus here on those that are shared here and not there. Starting here on page 11 and working backwards... That grid with the Nuvo drops and the scrunched up mesh in the squares is stunning, kiwigirl! Love the fresh colours. To use your word, this one is LUSH! JaneB, I love all the takes on Churchill's quote. What a motto to live by! And no wonder you are giggling over that doggy poo post! Isn't that the definition of TMI???

Thanks for the comments everyone, but it's not a Nuvo dot grid I'm sorry, it's just dots with a Sharpie! I did start dotting with the Sharpie and thought hmm, I should have done this with Nuvos! So I might do another at some stage and do a Nuvo grid

Going on to page ten. Again, I am commenting only on the projects I did not already see in the Gallery. kiwigirl, I actually like your take better than the original. Those soft pastel stripes are really pretty, and I like the little fox. That shaker page is STUNNING! Love the black with the metallic GOLD! And the use of all the stars! Linda, I am really glad you have found a way to share your pages. I love how you use colour to set each one apart from the others. Poor little munchkin in your first share on this page: love the pinks with the pop of green and how you used flowers and plaid. Sweet photos of the tiny hands at play. Love how you use black on the soccer and cousin pages, and how you used the banner. The orange and blue is an interesting combo on the farm page, and I love the torn edge. patin, that Lego page is awesome. I am always looking for new ways to scrap lego activities. Where did you get that outline border? And the engagement party pages are going to be a lovely keepsake. I love how you kept the focus on the photos. stinkerbelle, I have loved all your pages in the Gallery. Did I miss the Moments one? Love the happy colours of the diagonal stripes!

Now on to commenting on page NINE. Again, since I left love on the projects in the Gallery, I will comment here on only those that I did not see there. kiwigirl, I love your take on the page maps sketch. Those teals and greens are really pretty. MDscrapaholic, your pages are all really FUN! I love the Halloween patterns and colours, but the star of that page is the expression on that little one's face! The Cool Dude sentiments are perfect for those shots of the very cool young man. I LOVE the turned down corner of the pp for the napping photo, and how you used the photo turn to point to the sweet photo. Might need to lift that with some shots of very exhausted dgk's after long Disney days. And speaking of Disney, your pages are THE BOMB!!! Love the different colours and patterns for each page, with at least one element on each page to make it stand out. Think I need to print them all off so they are handy when I start on my Disney pages. Your vacation pages are fun, too, KelleeM. Love the tassles, the use of metallic elements, and how the black backgrounds on a couple of them really make the colours pop. Great way to remember all the fun moments. This book will be well read and well loved. The redo of your wedding album is an amazing project, myboysnme. Love that it looks like a wedding from a century ago!

I made something! I'm in a FB Group for JamesLukeBurkeCreative and a lady there does the most fabulous sketches every day I think. Yesterday she did one with this quote and a fashion figure in gorgeous skirt. So I pulled out my Dahhhling Lady and gave her makeover into colour! Digital papers for her clothes and background from an 11 year old kit called Song of Hope by Amanda Thorderson. Plenty of Photoshop practice to get the dress to look right, bit of dodging and burning for shadows.
In my head, this is how I look today I have no idea, apart from a rectangular page, what challenges I've met.... kiwigirl I love that grid! I'm going to scraplift that sometime soon..... kitbop Hmm, I doubt anyone can guess exactly why that ad is so funny in our house, it's not the usual reasons. grammadee Didn't I avoid TMI infringement (just! ) by not actually explaining?? Linda What a lovely page, I like the soft blues and even though there's privacy you can tell there's fun going on in the photos P.S. Here's the original on Instagram - hopefully

I finished off all the challenges last night! So an extra 50 points for me this month!! It was hard to do a couple of them for sure but they are all ticked off. This is my #46 Unfinished Class LO. I actually don't have an unfinished class to finish. Not because I'm so good and finish everything I start (believe me, I am a master of unfinished projects) but because I don't take classes. I don't remember the last class I took and I don't sign up for online ones specifically because I know I won't do them! So what I've done is, re-do a class LO I taught in May 2010 at the local scrapbooking shop (RIP). Here's the class LO.... (back before Nuvos were around I used to doodle a lot!) And here's what I did, also crossing off challenge #17 Home and #29 Dies. Dies was a problem for me because my Cuttlebug won't work anymore. I tried and tried but that thing won't cut, no matter what sandwich or how many shims I put in. But, I found that black felt vine and I definitely cut that myself as I put them in a class kit of another class I taught. I found it and then lost it for about a week and luckily, found it again! So I can cross the dies challenge off my list! Taking 15 for this one. 1 for a LO, 1 for sharing, #6 Square, #7 Rectangle, #10 Chipboard, #17 Home, #19 Nuvos, #21 Wood + Metal, #23 Old Alpha, #26 Sparkle & Shine, #29 Dies, #32 Scraps, #37 Level Up, #46 Class LO and August Stash Challenge - Chipboard Alpha and Something With Text On It. And the very last challenge for me to cross off was #31 Christmas in August. Christmas is not really a big deal to us in this house so I never have any photos to scrap. I looked through all my photos and couldn't find one to scrap so I made a card instead. As you can see, we're not traditional xmas people at all lol! I used a card from Monkey World, a monkey and ape rehabilitation park here in England. There's a TV show which OH and I have been watching from the beginning all year (20 years of shows!) and this was our favourite chimp, Charlie. So I've decorated the pre-made Charlie card to give to OH. Taking 5 points for this one, 1 for a card, 1 for sharing, #19 Nuvos, #26 Sparkle & Shine and #31 Christmas in August. My work here is done

JaneB love that quote! I can't tell you the conversations we have had about our cat and things he's done either. Great LO, I love the quote with the flower. Ooh, I love the next quote too, dress like you're going somewhere better later, fantastic! I love your lady with the swirls and the fabulous hat, looks gorgeous! Linda I love the Joy LO, the title is just perfect for those pictures, love the hat swap! I love those feathers on Camp Kateri, they are gorgeous along with the beautiful colours. Love those flowers in your last LO, I remember when I used them everywhere! Great LO with all the photos, it's perfect. grammadee I adore the mermazing card, it is fabulous! I want to be mermazing today lol! And your first page LO is stunning, love that big red spotty banner and the fabulous picture of you in front of the castle, it's wonderful

kiwigirl I am so impressed you completed all the challenges. Also, I'm very glad I'm on your team I love the non-traditional Christmas card (says the girl who frequently makes Christmas cards with Halloween papers for her sisters) and the row of little houses on your our house page are adorable. I know I've missed commenting on a lot of recent shares but I've loved seeing all the beautiful pages get posted.

kiwigirl - WTG! Since I proposed the "all the things" challenge, I am trying to get there too but it's hard! I love your doodley circles, and your signature use of metal photo turns. I have some - hey, that would be "metal" for the wood and metal challenge! {lightbulb moment} This LO was to address the "celebrate with me" challenge and the "flowers" challenge. 18 points. layout bloom singing by kirstendrew, on Flickr

On to comments on page 8. Again, I am only commenting here if I didn't already leave love on Flickr. patin, your white elephant Christmas Eve activity looks like a lot of fun, and I love the TREES. kiwigirl, your creativity never ceases to amaze me! That Partners in Crime page has such a classic look: love the JARS as a grid item! Can't wait to see your DT projects: they look like they have so much DEPTH. Those altered cans are really cute, and the wall piece is really fun: love the different colours and fonts. Glad I clicked on it: made me chuckle. Your baby pages are wonderful, Linda. Love the soft yellows on the Playtime page, and the pretty border strip along the middle of your Bathtime pages, linking them both together. My favorite is the CALENDAR! How sweet to have all those notes!

And my comments for projects shared on Page Seven: I love how all your pages are so different and so perfect for the story you are telling, myboysnme. The engagement pages are elegant. Love that tilted script/arrow paper. The hearts and the pink are the perfect accompaniment for the sonogram photos. Glad you fit in the hospital/lab card as well. Love the blocked style and school colours on the Harvard pages. The Goofing Around and gaming pages have a really FUN vibe: love the pp with the printed words and the different dice borders. The pearls are really pretty on your invitation page. And YOU and the redone wedding pages are GORGEOUS! Welcome to the scrap party, sleepingbooty! Better late than never. It is fun to see a different format for pages, so don't apologize. KelleeM, these cruise/vacation pages are wonderful. I love how you make each part of the trip unique with special touches and colour combos. Love the glittery paper for some of these pages. And kiwigirl, that Red Mate page woke me up!!! You really make the red and yellow work! Is that ruffled border crepe paper? Very cool.

Last page of catching up on comments... Page 6 this time. kiwigirl, I love how you used the same box of supplies to put together two pages that have such different feels to them. The grid with the frames is so lively and fun! And the blues are so peaceful. KikiPea, you did a great job with that sketch! Perfect photo to use for it. I love the cluster at the bottom. And your fussy cutting is AMAZING on those cards! Love the effect you got with the package smooshing technique, KelleeM. Such a sweet photo and a sweet page to display it on!

I'll have you know I built this page, honestly! Even down to the wall, brick by brick... Challenges: rectangle page, a stolen page from Pinterest and photos that are definitely NOT 4 x 6! Here's the original Pin - the image is linked.
grammadee what a happy photo! You work quickly too, a card and a page
Linda your kraft background looks great with the soft pink; I love kraft backgrounds, don't use it enough really.
kiwigirl there was a BN time? Before Nuvos? I love both your pages and Charlie The Chimp For Christmas - excellent
kitbop the yellow floral paper is lovely and matches your photos perfectly, becaue you both have darker shades in clothes. It's a lovely, light feeling page

LOVE FOR PAGE 7. (Will I ever catch up? ) KelleeM - your Mexico vacation pics are great. I particularly like the show time pics on a black background. It makes them pop. I have appreciated that challenge this month & need to think about using black more often. kitbop - Your Easter page reminds me of my kids (& of course, Cluster Queen- you did it again!) And the dance page is so great- everything just enhances the beautiful & artsy picture. I like how you tilt most of your pics. It really draws the eye. nylene - Is that your DD's troop? Yes- a fun activity for them. I like the buckle border. myboysnme - You will have to change your name to "myboysnmenMYBEAUTIFULGRANDDAUGHTER- how fun that you get to scrap her journey! YOUR DRESS!- I don't have enough words to tell you how beautiful you both are & I am so glad you included the detail of the sleeve. What a wonderful dress! JaneB - You are so clever with your newspaper mock-ups and fun alias page! sleepingbooty - You got more points on your PL card than I usually get on a double LO. so don't worry. The details in that are amazing. I like how you go above & beyond on your PL. That inspires me. So much creativity in a little space. msliz - lots of Disney done for you! Tell Yeti to behave! I really like the blue paper for your water pics & the rollercoaster paper. christinec68 - Your titles are so cute. They are funny & draw me in. Child labor is hilarious. & 86 points? WOW. I worked the layout to showcase 2 of the lovely pre-printed quotes. This is one of the things I so love about my DH.
