Thanks MDscrapaholic! I love the original, I think I may have to try again using similar colours. I picked Dear Lizzy PL cards (for the journal cards challange) for mine and then wanted to use DL for the manu challenge points. I might try it again lol! I went on to do this one and have crossed off School Days, Mixed Media and Stamp It from my list. I now have 6 challenges to go to get the 50 bonus points! I went green on this page cause my school uniform was light and dark green but the photos are terrible so I made them b&w. Taking 22 for this one, 1 for a LO, 1 for sharing, Aug Stash Challenge - Something with text on & stickers, #1 Splatter, #3 3 Photos, #6 Square, #7 Rectangle, #13 Stamp On It (3 for 3 different sets), #14 Trendy (remember those MM Foam alphabets!), #15 School Days, #19 Nuvos, #20 Mixed Media - Nuvo Embossing Paste, Stamping & splattered Nuvos, #21 Wood + Metal, #26 Sparkle & Shine, #27 Sequins, #35 Kraft BG, #36 Inked Edges, #37 Level Up, #45 Stamped Title and #47 Stars.

Alright, I was avoiding the shaker challenge. I've left it till almost last and I was going to make the smallest shaker I could get away with. And then this happened...... So I enjoyed the shaker challenge! Thanks DawnMcD! I don't know what made me go so massive with it but I love it! I drew the star myself if it looks a little wonky.... it is! Taking 15 for this. 1 for a LO, 1 for sharing, 1 for August Stash Challenge - something with text on it, #6 Square, #18 Shaker, #19 Nuvos, #21 Wood + Metal, #25 Washi, #27 Sequins (durh!), #28 Donna - 3 hearts, 5 stars & something yellow, #33 Together, #39 Diet Ketchup - May Sew It Up, #40 Stars, #43 Smaller Than 4x6 and #47 Black BG.

Chinagirl828 , you did a great job with you PL style page. Love the pretty soft colors. Your layering on BBQ Band is very pretty. Great design and clean and classy. kiwigirl , I love your take on the Pagemap sketch.I love the colors and especially that little bow. Is that a photo of you? So cute. MDscrapaholic , I love your Halloween page. That is such a dramatic background paper. Perfect! Great use of repetition of circles. Your High Five layout is so cute. I love the scalloped paper and the use of all the word strips. You and Me is so sweet. I am loving how you use so many varieties of embellishments and they all work together as a cohesive cluster. I'd like to learn to do that! I am loving your Disney pages. I am taking notes for when I scrap a few of my grands at Disney. Love the balloons and tickets and fun Disney touches. myboysnme , what beautiful and delightful wedding pages. I love your dress and I love the papers you have chosen to let those photos shine. All those dresses are amazing and the uniforms on the men are so cool. What an amazing wedding you must have had. Incredible album you will have. I am impressed with the number of photos you were able to use on your Gamers and Civil War pages.I love the tag saying Exploring our Past. Very appropriate. I have a question on your Tim and Hope Love page. Did you cut and glitter the word love? If so,how did you get such great glitter coverage? KelleeM , your Green Man layout is so fun. The tassels and stripes are perfect for his color. What an interesting thing to see! I love the clean design on your Swim Pages. Classy design and not overly embellished. My favorite kind of layouts. I plan to check these out again when I pull out my pool photos. The gold on your family page is so pretty. I always love gold and it's perfect on this page. That was really clever to cut out that word. Beautiful family and beautiful page. Your New Friends page is really pretty. I love the black background. You do excellent spattering!! Love your flowers on your Happy pages. The pages actually look happy as well as classy. gramma , great job on your This Moment page. I love the design and the banners on the second page that match the border piece on the first. Great photos. Your Don't Forget the Sunscreen page makes me giggle. It looks like just fun, fun, fun. I especially love the tags and sun border. msliz , please don't get tired of Disney pages. I am loving them and taking notes for when I do my few. I love the way you have collaged the photos together on Epcot. Such a great representation of the feeling of Epcot. Your cut files on the Aurora page are gorgeous. Do you use a Silhouette? I love the fireworks background and the stripes background on your last two. I'm excited to pull those photos out to do Disney!
I'll get page 10 later today. I am so impressed by the beautiful work posted on this thread. You gals are AMAZING!

Did you cut and glitter the word love? Thank you for your kindness! That word is actually from a Jen Hadfield word pack from the Heart of Home kit. I cut the word 'love' apart from 'love grows here'. If you ever see anything complex like a well glittered word, it is highly unlikely I did it myself. That would take time I don't take when I'm scrapping, haha! Especially if I can buy it! I love all things glitter and love to find an opportunity to use it!

Late Love sharing for page #5- It probably seems like ages ago for all of you (8/7-8/8) JaneB- I love your corvette (my favorite car & favorite year-ish.) Your humor, er humour, is a delight. KikiPea- your sympathy card is lovely. Mind if I scraplift? I need some in my card stash. linda- I am loving the stories of your of your folks. What a treasure! kitbop- the kitty layout was a happy layout about a sad event. & I love how you explained to us about the "ageless Kitbop." nylene-I am so glad you joined us! You always have most of my favorite layouts. The Donna Layout is bittersweet, but lovely. Your girls are so cute. The redheads always make me smile. The "Painted Ladies" lLO is a winner! Thank you for sharing about your DH. Congratulations on such a long & loving marriage. kiwigirl- Thank you for the unbiased (not "fan girl") reviews. I like the turquoise/teal/aqua you used on your AT LO. And of course your Nuvos were on point. So, I finally got my grandson's 2017 birthday complete. I was waiting on pics from my DDIL, but she has lost her camera. (We always share our pics of events we share in.) This is a warning to all of us to download/save/store/cloud our memories so that we always have them. I am taking 8 points for this layout: create, post, #3- 3's the charm, #6- square (12x12 page), #7- rectangle photos, #9- border patrol - I fussy cut the patterned paper making a border that I tucked the photos into, & #23- alphas=2 points for 2 different fonts. Love for Page #6 (eventually I will get caught up here.) KikiPea - I want to go to the Oasis. Great layout . Like the large picture & the clusters LisaDV -Perfect capture of a teen. I like how you did both pictures, the larger B&W with the smaller color of the same picture. kiwigirl - Your LO shouts SUMMER. & look at you using the lovely floral paper on your superstar page- "Superstar...that's what you are." KelleeM - what a lovely background. I need to try that. You are sure having fun, aren't you? nylene - Look at you cluster! I love the pumpkin die cuts. Nature boy is wonderful. I am so impressed that you have captured these stories. grammadee- You are so clever with ALL your sports LO's. I must admit I get a bit tired of doing them sometimes. The journalling around the t-ball is clever & I am glad you use your own handwriting. It will be a treasure. DawnMcD- your son's 14th birthday is great. Lots of photos, great flow & design. I love this LO. And your daughter's with just one photo is awesome also. Your journalling is so uplifiting. Now for today's share. This is my DGD & almost DGS engagement party. I have a lot more photos that I will do in a Project life format, but this is the "cover" to that sandwich. (Hopefully that made sense- the PL layouts will go between thee 2 pages in my album. I do this a lot when I have lots of photos of an event.) These LO's Total=17 points: Create=2, post=2, #6Square=2, #7-rectangle=2, #11- Oh yueah baby ( my DGDx2- her twin is the one giving her a piggy-back ride & my DD). #23-Alphas=2, #26-Sparkle & Shone(Thickers)=2, #27- Sequins=2 (Thank you everyone on helping me figure out how to do sequin clusters) & #29-Dies (we are engaged.) Fabulous pages again everyone
I'm going to try and do something arty today. Can't hear myself think - it's not yet 9am and the angle grinder is going outside as I have a new ramp/patio fitted at my back door. Our roof still leaks and we're looking at total re-roof so I'm trying to find builders - and still no Cameo/Mint crafting. My husband had to have more antibiotics after dental work the other week for an infection, but he's on the mend now.
Why do workmen love having a radio on? I am not used to so much noise!

OMG JaneB , workmen are so noisy eh! We need total re-roof too but we can't face the workmen here for months doing it! We just keep getting bits patched up every year or so and will get the whole thing done when our cat dies cause he is a nervous nelly and will hate work being done. Hope you get something done today Oh please, months? I'm only in a bungalow, surely it won't take months? Can you see me dodging scaffolding in my wheelchair? Recipe for disaster that! I haven't done anything new yet this morning but here's pictures for my claims this last week: I've been watching The Crown and pulled a small snippet of a quote from Winston Churchill. I did the charcoal version first, then the black and white and then the wood, all for practice in Photoshop. Wood paper from Heartsong, The Lilypad collab kit I think. Fonts: Novecento Sans Wide and Boardwalk. I drew the flower.
Ian found an advert that made him smile before he went in for the nasty dental work. For reasons I'm not going to explain "six consecutive firm poos" has us giggling in this house
The other two fonts here are Alcubierre and Rastenoba (script).
Challenges include rectangles, tags, kraft paper and wood.
