Here are the last two pages from me for awhile. Leaving on vacation tomorrow afternoon. Still need to create at least one card. Don't know if I will have time to share until I get home again. KikiPea, that is a wonderful sympathy card. I love the sweet sentiment on it. I plan to "lift" it for a sympathy card. Beautiful job. patin, I always love purples on cards. It adds such a nice pop. These cards are wonderful. That's a lot of work even if they are small. Congrats on completing the whole kit. Beautiful. grammadee, I love your boys and their balls pages. Using the ball as a large background circle was a great touch. I love the 3 photos lined up together. That makes a great design look. Great use of the perfect embellishments. Beautiful pages. Have a great trip!

Your sympathy card is beautiful, KikiPea . Beautiful colours and textures. I always have trouble making those. Thank you. I was a little uncomfortable when the lady asked me to make it. I usually make unthemed cards. It’s really simple, but it’s all I could come up with. I like how it turned out. |

kitbop , Yes to Ye's - love that you used donuts for sushi. I may have to do that. The page is beautiful. Wonderful photos, love the colors, the circle elements with the 3 sequins in your clusters, and the layers. Sad Story of Gideon - I like the bright happy colors which tells of the happy times of your family with the cat. I like the black background because it reminds me of mourning. It's a lovely page. Linda , great navy layout! Love the anchor paper and your design. Love the story of the deer. Your transcription is going to make making some wonderful pages! I snorted at the beer story. Too funny. Loving the designs on all of these. nylene , Your warehouse sale is lovely. Great color scheme. I like the blue stars. Your tiger swallowtail page is gorgeous. I had to fave it. Your childhood story that you shared with us is so sweet. I love how you hid it in the layers. San Fran. - I adore your shaker pocket! Love This Man - Fantastic. So many beautiful LO's! No way to comment on them all I got so far behind. So many different styles and each one is great! I am loving all the stories from years ago that are being scrapped. It's inspiring me to take a look at some of my older photos!

A few layouts I did this week. The first is my son's 14th birthday - used an August Pagemap on it and some really old paper from Junkitz (like 2008 old) The second I made with scraps from the first one and completely CASE'd a layout from a 2008 blog post on Aussiescrapsource. Also use the boy Junkitz line on a girl page.

kiwigirl, I love the colours on your layout you cna't show us yet. What a shame that the paper pad is a disappointment.
kitbop those washi borders are excellent It is a lovely page, even though sad; you might like it more when you look back on it rather than when all the emotions are fresh. I'd love to be your neighbour, do you live somewhere warm?
nylene that row of houses is perfect, I can feel the hillls of San Francisco from here! And you did fabulous job with all the little tools on your Love This Man page, it's super

KikiPea that's a beautiful sympathy card, it's always difficult to make those.

@grammdee your sports pages are great! Never having done many sports pages I always think they're difficult to do.
linda these are such wonderful stories, love the map background.
DawnMcD your pages are all dramatic with the beautiful colours or purple and red, but On Fire is just gorgeous!
I used up all my creativity on that Corvette, so after a day of rest I'll try and get something done today!

linda - great background pp/title combo. I'm also quite awestruck at your dedication to recording these stories! DawnMcD - great great pages! The purple - so not my colour - but it looks amazing and grungy/piratey here. And the "flames" on the second page - I LOVE how you blocked them up so you didn't overwhelm the page with red/orange - it's amazing. And, ahem, I knew the paper before you told us. I still have it too, although the small circles/stars might only be scraps.

Linda, I am so glad you are capturing and saving those great stories. I'm sorry you (and mom) had such a difficult journey. How nice that people were encouraging on the last flight. Great story. DawnMcD, those are great pages. I love the photo of your son holding a skull and you have the most wonderful skull papers. Love the drama of the purple and the # of photos you were able to use. Your "Fire" layout really feels like fire, with the zigzags and the flames on your title. I love it. She's a cutie.

Great work everyone! I was struggling for days with a LO I was working on and getting nowhere. So I chucked it aside and pulled out my Dear Lizzy box. kiwigirl, what a cute page. I love your frames and this makes me want to study every inch. You have such a wonderful unique style. I love the design of this page. LisaDV, I love your DS page. I'm glad you documented his helpfulness, as well as his leisure. The photo as the background and the tags and bracket are great details. Great idea to document this! kiwigirl, like LisaDV, I had to go back to find your Nuvos on the last layout after seeing this Super Star layout. Love the borders of Nuvos. It just amazes me that you can keep them at straight and uniform. Love your black background.

kiwigirl you are the master of bright on black. Love the use of the frames with all the little bits and bobs. I really love your most recent page - the contrast of the delicate floral with the salty language is wonderful. KikiPea I love your big photo layouts - you have fabulous photos and love how much detailed your clusters are but how they don't overwhelm the page. The card set is really cute too.

KikiPea your sympathy card is beautiful and understated; just perfect! The photo on the oasis café page is just stunning! I love the clustering in the corners, especially the little insects. I can’t believe you handcut all the trees and such on your cards! They look awesome paired with the diecut backgrounds patin your cards are gorgeous!  I love all the texture with the embossing, fibers and bling. The purple is fantastic! grammadee love the be a sport page! Way to work those lacrosse embellies! They’re so cute in their tiny uniforms love the big circle on the t-ball page, especially the journaling around it! Linda wow, that’s some story on your journey page! I’m enjoying these pages so much and you used airplane eyelets!! i think you definitely deserve bonus points DawnMcD love both of your awesome junkitz LOs! I recognized that paper right away I really like the addition of the purple on the first spread, and love the flame-like border on the second! Also a great collection to use for a girl, although I’d have never thought of it. I don’t think I have any of that paper left but I’m almost compelled to go check nylene love the Halloween page! Although I’m a sucker for traditional orange/black/green/purple, I really like your lighter color scheme. the little critters (in costume and in your embellies) are so cute! And I really like the pumpkin cutfile background! I super love your nature boy page; thinking I need to add that to the lift file! That leafy border is just so perfect and I love the ladybugs LisaDV that teenage page is so amazing I can’t even think of enough good things to say about it! Pretty sure this is my favorite in the history of ever that you’ve shared kiwigirl loving your page with all the frames! I wish I could embellish like you. Maybe you need to teach a class!  And your super star page love love the grid design and differently colored nuvo borders!! You go girl!

KelleeM that smooshing technique is one of my favourites, it's so easy to do. I love how it looks on your page and how you've picked the colours back up in your photo mats and embellishment.

I'm picking up and trying to keep up with where I left my last comment - you ladies are rocking it this month! DawnMcD - Wow! Just wow! I love everything about these pages, but that Girl on Fire is amazing! nylene - I like it that you didn't use traditional Halloween colors for this trick or treat page, and all those buttons, I do love buttons! Nature Boy - I love the colors, the leaves, and those ladybugs and the story! It's amazing how different siblings can be. LisaDV - I love that B&W photo as the background and the way the red title just pops right out! Glad you are creating again! kiwigirl - I am really loving the black backgrounds with the the bright bright colors! As well as how real you get with your journaling. And of course those Nuvos! They always look perfect! KikiPea - Wow! Gorgeous photo! And I love the clusters! That's a lot of hand cutting for the cards! KelleeM - I love everything about this Smile page! The page design, the colors you chose and how soft the background is. My mojo seemed to have taken a hike this month, but I guess I wasn't spending enough time on this thread, because I'm feeling inspired now! Such beautiful work! ETA: I am so inspired by all the creativity I'm seeing in the 8.5x11 size. I scrapped that size for years and years, finally caved and started 12x12 a few years ago, but seeing these pages really makes me want to go back to 8.5x11 - I miss it! |

KikiPea - you used that vicki b. paper with such a different colour focus and I love it - how you clustered so beautifully without crowding a beautiful interesting photo. Cute cards too! LisaDV - LOVE the concept of your teen boy layout, and the design is brilliant KikiPea - you certainly are amazing with those black backgrounds. I will have to keep trying. Sunshine - love the frames and the washi, eye candy! Superstar love how you pulled the flower element across the cards. KelleeM - adorable! I love diagonal lines of embellies like that, easy to look at pages that flow. nylene - the halloween layout is really fun, the die cut background, the colours mimicking the photos picking up so well on the pictures. Nature boy is stunning, great job with the die cuts work - its really beautiful.
