Chinagirl828, woodysbetty, justlisa7, grammadee, JaneB, patin, nylene there's love in the gallery for you all. gale w your hexagon card is lovely! I really like the muted reds with the brighter greens and the glittery greeting kiwigirl I think your kiwi summer page is fabulous! That messy background just looks hot, as I’m sure a kiwi summer must be and I love the bright colors you paired it with, and another fantastic mixed font title. And the little kiwi embellishment

You all may remember my DGD's engagement party LO's I did. These are the Project Life style pages that will be sandwiched in between the other 2 pages. (I do this a lot when I want to include several shots of an event. I was fortunate to pick up the PLstyle cards that match the paper as they are all discontinued. ( I apologize for the photos. It is a cloudy day here.) Here are four cards I made after seeing the CARDtober #17 prompt. I used a stencil with TH oxide inks to create a background, and then used the same stencil with Nuvo glitter paste on top of that background. Cut up the piece I created and then paired it with HOTP foil cs and some random greeting stickers. I love the greens on these ones! stinkerbelle - Eek is a fun layout - love the pics and the story! Fallelujah! I'm still waiting for those temps here but I love that you recorded your joy at Fall temps arriving!

There is love for you in the Gallery, stinkerbelle . Oh, and we are celebrating similar temps this week, but not because we got a cooldown. We have been experiencing near or below freezing temps and rain and snow for weeks. This week the sun is shining and warm, and we are happy! (Too bad our fall leaves are already on the ground). It is wonderful that your mum is sending you these photos and letters to scrap, Linda, and that you have been able to scrap them. What a wonderful legacy for your family. I like the effect of the teal with the browns on this page: gives the heritage photo and colours a happy cast.

Fab work patin love all the photos! Great stencil work on the holly cards grammadee, I am partial to a bit of holly as there's a massive holly tree in Mum's front yard, the house I grew up in. I quickly learned to be wary of those spiky leaves! The embossing looks lush on the Merry & Bright card too, looks like a present being opened on the front and the touches of holly are awesome! stinkerbelle Eek is just amazing, I love all the layers on there, the panda & cat are the perfect touches! It's super lush! And Fallelujah is fabulous, all those leaves and the stick pins and acorns and brads, it all looks wonderful! Your Donna LO looks great Linda and the letter pages are fab too, I love that you're getting them in albums. Very cute card gale w I love the stitching around the edge!

I did it with the ink smooshing technique (I think Laura Bassen or Jennifer McGuire have posted videos about it on youtube) and some distress oxide inks. It was really fun and messy making it! When I put the water on, I used water with perfect pearls in it so it's kind of shimmery. It's impossible to pick that up in a picture though.

nylene - those are lovely cards - and such a good idea to make several of the same all together. Thank you for your sweet comments on my layouts. Linda, I belong to a Card Club. We have been meeting once a month for 10 years as of Sept. We each make 8 cards and then exchange them at the meeting. We each go home with 8 different cards. One member teaches us how to do a new card or new technique. I usually make 4 extras just to have on hand when I make mine. That's why I make a bunch at a time.

Good work to everyone plugging along, especially those keeping up with the card challenges. I never even tried nylene - I adore the waffles layout. So cute. Your cards are amazing and will be great to keep on hand! The doily paper is adorable and the perfect background. And going back to your cards - the black and white - stunning, sophisticated, the corner rounded tree negative is just perfect. The reindeer - oh, too cute, especially the pops of red! @galew - falala -beautiful card, that is a die I've been eyeing for many many months (it's in my cart at Ali Express. I haven't pulled the trigger because I'm wary of that vendor, just not sure I want to open that can of worms!!!) And "merry" - really great stamping and colouring, I'm feeling "cutesy" myself this year with cards and the critters are back to support that linda - Awesome military pages, I "salute" your ongoing preservation of family stories and photos! patin - I do that all the time, sandwich PL pages into regular layouts - I love the look, and that all my photos are there and not still in boxes! Your cards are lovely, I too should make duplicates to have on hand, I never do... grammadee - more use of beautiful christmas stencils and shiny pretty stuff You will have a lot of your cards done this month - lovely work! Your pop-up snowman is adorable, he surprised me because the thought the front of the card was pretty detailed all by itself! stinkerbelle - gorgeous gorgeous fall layouts. I especially love the design on "eek", the offcentre pic, the downwards pull, it's really cool. JaneB - love the texture paste dots on the card, looks good behind the "shiny" heart! And your pop up box should be in a store on display kiwigirl - SWOON! So rich in colour, layer, texture. You know, I don't have a brayer. It's something that has been on my list for ever. But I think the teflon bone folder is higher on the list yet... @woodysbetsy - "celtic thunder" is rich in colour and design and choice of embellies, it is wonderful. justlisa7 - keep posting these wedding layouts. They are amazing, your colour choices echo the photos most perfectly, the wood embellies are lovely, and even tho I don't have big photos myself, I adore what you are doing with yours!
