cristelina, your Fun layout has the prettiest floral background. Adorable photos. I love her little pony tails. Beautiful. Your Favorite page is so sweet. I love the way you have decorated each circle. Great use of cork. The title on Today really caught my eye. What a great way to make it stand out. Love that. Great job on the wedding page. I love the bold background paper with a more neutral mat for the photos to really shine. I love your clusters! grammadee and justjac, you have love in the gallery.

So I did something daft that I haven't done before, a meme-style photo. One night this week Ian and I were lying in bed, discussing the fracking and earthquakes near Blackpool when he burst into song.... And the rest is history! KelleeM your anniversary page is so pretty, love all the florals! The exploding heart page is just fabulous. I especially love the title on the sweet photo and all the fun patterns! gmcwife1 gorgeous card! Love the combo of the wet and dry embossing! cristelina I love your fun with B page; the photos are stinking adorable, love the double matting on them. The floral paper is totally gorgeous and I love that you paired it with the stripe and fun circle paper, and the sequins are a perfect touch! I really love the wonky circles on the favorite page, and the embellishing! The family page is lovely, such a fun color scheme! I love the watercolor background and fun metallic dot paper! The wedding page is so pretty with the gridlike design and all the fun clusters! scrapnnana WTG finishing all the card challenges! (very happy you’re on my team lol) your cards are all so different in style, colors, design, everything and they’re all beautiful! everyone else should have love in the gallery  so sad this month is coming to an end, but i'm excited for next month! thanks so much to all you card-makers for joining in. i don't make cards but i definitely enjoy looking at them, so thank you for sharing with us

Trying to share here all of the cards posted on the Cardtober thread seemed a bit daunting. So here are most of them. One is missing, because I mailed it to a friend already, so I will post it individually. Also, I just made one more card, because I needed one for another grandkid. I especially like the one with lilacs! |

Here are some cards I have been working on this month:  That's worth at least two points: one for the card, one for using my CORNER ROUNDER.  These were ones that were sitting on my desk, unfinished. I added the sentiments and embellishments to them. This gets me at least three more points: one for the cards themselves, one for the UNFINISHED PROJECT challenge, and one because there are six rhinestones on the upper left card...  These are based on a bonus lesson from a class called "Intro to Color Theory" at onlinecardclasses.com. Two points: cards, and CLASS INSPIRATION challenge. (Oh, yeah. Also sharing points!) |

I am in awe. I swore I would just "pop in" and not comment, but I can't help myself! JaneB , amazing that you managed all 31 cardtober challenges! Your style always amazes me and I love trying to give myself design/placement lessons from them. To pick out a few details - the "25 Christmas", the different sized numerals, the fill behind the numerals, LOVE. The 4 ornaments hanging with the snow behind, LOVE. The make-up compact? LOVE! justjac - wonderful job at that crop! I am in awe that you created that much but put so much detail into everyone. The "halloween" grid is wonderful - I love the more subtle colours and patterns that are halloweeny but let the altered photos stand out kiwigirl ...girl, amazing stuff as always, they are lucky to have you on their DT! Simple things takes rainbow to a new level with the crayon work and the BIG items matching the colour. "Enjoy Today" - the crayon work, the black and white border paired with the nuvo border - it all is beautiful. The graphic edges and black of "big smile" are so wow-worthy. scrapnnana - your cards are so lovely, they create such an art display, they're each so different and yet gorgeous together. @eddie-N-Harley amazing array of cards, just wow. The Christmas wreath variations are SO lovely for cards, I love them. stinkerbelle - that pumpkin, and the way you scrapped it - is amazeballs. I LOVE the floral at the bottom of the page, the starry background, the layered tags, the title/mask. |
