I really love the scene on the thinking of you card; the details are just fantastic! The little girl leaning out the window is just adorable; really love the background you chose and how well the bird picks up on the colors. Sending you a hug is lovely, I really love the vellum and the floral spray! gmcwife1 your poinsettia card is very pretty, love the sparkle! Linda your navy album is coming along great. I’m sure your son will treasure it! kiwigirl I think your awesome Auckland page is beautiful! I love the colors you chose to go with the photo and all the fun strips and arrows. The little sailboat embellie is just perfectly perfect  and the cotswolds page  ahh the honey-colored brick, love it! I really really like that purple flower and other purple bits and the leafy sprigs add the perfect touch!

I set out to get as many points as I could with this LO and I got 43! I wrote down every challenge I thought I could squash on to a LO and tried to cross them all off my list. I didn't get a die-cut (to lazy to lift that Sizzix machine up to my desk!) or fussy cutting (again, too lazy) on there. And I knew I could get another point for sewing thread through 3 of my buttons but I couldn't be bothered at the end! Oh stinkerbelle, way to go! Better Together is awesome, I love all the little bits and bobs on it, ric-rac and that cute little wood leaf, it's all a bit lush! Hello Sunshine is so pretty, love that notepad edge and the beautiful colours and the fab butterfly, it's all gorgeous! And Panty Raider is frikken awesome! Great photo, I love all the colours, they're so lush and match the photo so awesome and that little upside down cat is the bollocks! I love all the layers and florals and splatters, it looks amazing and I want to copy it all! |

Wow kiwigirl, you've done well to get that many points on one LO! And the thing is, it doesn't look cluttered or overdone at all. I love it! I need to up my points before the end of the month, I'll have to see if I can do one like that. |

FINALLY got around to scrapping a little. It's been a tough month for me. I have had plenty of time, but just never could get in the mood to play! I will kick it off with a link to my DT blog post and the LOs I made in September using the Vicki Boutin Field Notes collection. I loved the collection and didn't even need to break into the papers to do 5 LOs, the embellishments, especially the Ephemera packs were enough for me! I am continuing to use this collection for my November 1st post so I will be posting sneaks this month of my next set of LOs here, I am using the papers this month. Those LO's are simply gorgeous! <3 |

Inspired by kiwigirl 's shameless points grab, here is my "get as many points as possible" layout. It's the digital version of sticker sneeze - Element Sneeze!  I'm sure I could have slapped a couple more on to break the 40 point barrier, but I had to draw the line somewhere. Been crazy busy here subbing classes so I can get mine covered, getting moving stuff done and keeping DH calm for Monday's surgery so I haven't gotten much done. Finally got a few cards finished ( started them 2 weeks ago) ... but my scrap space has been a bit neglected this month...

This is for @kikipeas monthly sketch challenge. I kept trying to add things to it, but nothing looked quite right so here it is, simple and done lol. I'm claiming 12 for this which is surprising and I think the most points I've ever gotten on a LO  2 points for 2 pages, 1 for sharing, challenges, 3,5,12,15,25,26,27,30 and deco scissors from the stash challenge. kiwigirl , OMG that ombre is glorious the way you used the photo and embellies to echo it and the texture paste to draw attention to it too. stinkerbelle , I love the fun of "better together", an explosion of good times and memories is was you immediately sense on seeing the layout. "washers", the design it just fab, the 2 photos don't look like 2 photos of different orientations by the way you filled in and created visual lines with embellies and layers. "Panty Raider", I have photos like this! Only we have a towel snuggler... and the upside down kitty, and the layers, and the colours, it's lush! justjac - "B.Ed" is lovely, the stars and floral go so well together here and is unexpected! The lace is perfect. Your two wedding layouts are beautiful - the sketch looks perfect, your colours really stand out with the photos! KikiPea , wow, super colours and fussy cutting, the florals are glorious nylene - too much fun, the photos steal the show  but the layout is fab! And your cards are amazing - the pop-up card is WOW and I love the halloween standard colours with the BOW on the hats! AussieMeg - "love" is just beautiful, so soft and textured! JaneB - the 2019 card is simple and inspired, very professional, and easy to steal the idea "Have fun" - I LOVE how the colours JUMP (not pop. JUMP) out at you, just like the silly filters! And your weekly layouts are always wonderful to look at, like something in a magazine, your designs and lines and perfect. woodysbetty - great cards, 4 down, how many to go? I've wanted that birch-trees die for a while... joyfulnana - Batmanbile is classic, of course you have to use grey and yellow and I think you did a stunning job with it!

Finally got this one done. My favourite part was adding the little Shimelle animal puffy stickers - they are totally random, but they made me smile!!! Yay, I'm finally off the mark! Photoshop only crashed about 78 times while doing this one.  This is for my own Food glorious Food challenge:  Shared LO = 1, Challenge = 1, #13 Stay Current (photo is from 3 months ago), #20 Flowers, #26 Rectangles (photos and journal card), #32 Splatter on the background, #38 Nuvos in the middle of the flowers, #40 No people or animals, #43 Tie me up (ric rac and ribbon on journal card), #46 Food Glorious Food TOTAL = 10 points I love this. This is my final sketch for Sketchtember - made it! I never thought I'd ever create 30 layouts in 34 days...I'm usually very slow to produce. So I'm VERY proud of myself!!! This is 2+17 points, and I'm working on a kit that I have yet to share (but have photographed) and it's mostly Vikki Boutin Field Notes.  layout feeling all the feels by kirstendrew, on Flickr How very sweet. This is a layout of my son, who would have made a very pretty little girl. The poor boy had to suffer the indignity of being dressed up in his big sister's clothes on more than one occasion (as did my brother when we were kids). I don't think he minded, and he also used to wear nail polish to pre-school quite often.
 I used the Monkey Love kit by Day Dreams 'n Designs for this LO. Points: 1 for LO, 1 for sharing, #2 Boo (girly colours on boy page), #18 stitching, #20 flowers, #38 Nuvo dots, #41 bling (gems in each flower), #43 ribbon, #53 glitter = 9 I've claimed points for (digital) Nuvo dots for the little dots around the ring. They started off as Nuvo dots but when I added glitter to them they kinda didn't look like Nuvos anymore, but I'm still going to claim the points - they took me forever! Love it! Another one I'll be borrowing!

This is for a Sketchtember #13 sketch that I didn't get finished in Sept.  Pumpkin Patch-Alex 6 I have such a hard time tilting items on my pages. I usually go back and straighten them, but I'm going to leave these tilted. I used just part of the sketch since I scrap 8.5x11.
