This is seriously one of the best things I have ever done: releasing one day old baby turtles into the ocean. I have added the journaling, which is in that pocket behind the turtle sticker, to the post on Flickr if you're interested in reading more (just click on the photos). You took my breath away with this...totally awesome!

Very cool textures on your Grandpa layout justjac ! And those tags are really neat too. Do you know what you're going to do with them? They'd make fun cards. I was thinking I'd hang them on the wall like a painting. They would make great cards. I'll have to think about that.

I started this using the card sketch (with the hexagons) that JaneB posted for cardtober. I planned to make all the hexies the size that my photos are...but then I realized that the backside of the pp I was using to matte the main photos was already hexagons and I could just cut them out! layout paprikas pride by kirstendrew, on Flickr

I would like to say I have sufficiently oogled and awed over all of this months creations, but it dawned on me as I was looking through them that it's never really enough. I'd love to save every months challenge creations to a digital frame and just loop it in my craft room for constant inspiration and prettiness. A girl can dream.
So many pretty and amazing projects this month.

I guess this will be my last LO for October, seeing it's now 11pm on October 31st here! And I didn't even get to do a Halloween LO. This one is for the Favourite Things challenge. It's a very basic LO. The kit is Beauti-Fall (hence the points for using fall colours) which is a GingerScraps Design Team collaboration. Template is MultiFoto Single Layered Template No. 27B by Anna Aspnes. <iframe width="15.399999999999977" height="15.399999999999977" style="position: absolute; width: 15.4px; height: 15.4px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 5px; top: 66px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_23024835" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="15.399999999999977" height="15.399999999999977" style="position: absolute; width: 15.4px; height: 15.4px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 708px; top: 66px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_87485374" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="15.399999999999977" height="15.399999999999977" style="position: absolute; width: 15.4px; height: 15.4px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 5px; top: 769px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_24855657" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="15.399999999999977" height="15.399999999999977" style="position: absolute; width: 15.4px; height: 15.4px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 708px; top: 769px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_72002126" scrolling="no"></iframe> Points: 1 for the LO, 1 for sharing, #13, #14 photo taken and downloaded last night, #15, #16, #25, #35 + 5 bonus point for more than 5 favourite things, #38, #49, #54 TOTAL = 17 points

Love for projects shared on page 15 that I have not found on Flickr.... gmcwife1, that stylized poinsettia is lovely. And the metallic gold makes this a very classy card. Linda, I like the colour scheme and the subtle green pattern on your Liberty pages. The A School page has a crisp feel to it. Love the tag and the banner pieces. Your gardening page is really striking: fresh colours, and I love the rake/shovel Diecut. kiwigirl, your Auckland and Cotswold pages are gorgeous! Love the black bg on the first with the spray of stars, and those chevron arrows are awesome. The blue/grey on the second is beautiful, and I love the foliage clusters. I am always blown away by all the beauty and fun you can pack into one page!

Love for these projects from page 16 that I couldn’t find on Flickr: kiwigirl, the ombré bg on your Happy Moments page is beautiful. And you amp up that beauty with the stencilled paste, the lovely flowers, and the gem swirls. Truly a happy page. @kikkipea, I love the fresh colours on your page. Love the stacked layers and all the flowers.

And on to page 17... KelleeM, The 35 Years pages are beautiful. I love the gold lettering, the fussy cut flowers tucked in around the photos, and the vine/floral borders. The two pager has a real classic look. And the Heart Explodes page is absolutely STUNNING!!! Love the photo, the title, and those dimensional hearts in all the pretty patterns. Gorgeous. gmcwife1, that blue/white/silver card is beautiful. I love its classic feel. Nice contrast between the centred layers and the fanciful font. Love the ice cream pic, craftykitten! What says summer more than a drippy ice cream cone against a sunny beach scene? I love your layering and all the summery colours. cristelina, your pages are each so unique and so beautiful. The soft flowers and colours are awesome on the baby page. Those circles adorned with the different foliage and hearts are a show stopper: love the different textures and dimensions here. The Today page has such a wonderful contrast between the watery blue bg and the centre strip, and I love the photo blocking. Your HAPPY page has so many patterns and colours, yet you make them all work together and have the photo taking centre stage: awesome job! Hope I picked up the rest of the creativity on Flickr.
