That adds up to 8 points. I only used copic markers so I wasn't sure if the mixed media challenge applies. Since I didn't mix more than one thing. lol

stinkerbelle - I LOVE the big long title. Those are one of my favourite things - I'm working on a layout now with a huge long (story) title. And your layouts on the previous page - I don't even know where to start - I love your watercolour backgrounds, your layers, your clusters, your title work - they are all simply excellent. (PS You may stop now. And let us catch up. Please. Sincerely, the opposing team leader). grammadee - that is a precious card, love the snowflake layers and gems gale w w - I love your cats! I want a meowy Christmas stamp for myself, but I don't have many friends with cats to give these cards too nylene - I love the choice of the green grid background, and the layout is fun but gives space for the story pieces to shine. I had a red cat named Hamish. Love that name. And Drew is absolutely too cute! woodysbetty - that is absolutely perfect, the red/black with the cards, and I love the stripes and everything!!!

nylene when i do comments i just open a word document and type them all up there, then copy and paste. so much easier! i've left you love in the gallery for your adorable LO and thank you for your sweet comments stinkerbelle, I think I understand what you mean about opening a word document. For me it would be a Wordperfect page. That would be so much easier than what I am trying to do. Thanks for the help. I'm pretty computer challenged.
Your Happy Girls page makes me smile. Those are very happy girls in the photo. Left you love in the gallery.
gale w I love your card. I think you need to count the mixed media because you mixed the colors to do your shading. I love the cats and the bling on the Christmas tree. Adorable card!
kitbop, look at the muscles on that young man! I love the clustering with the journaling. The x-stitches are a great touch. Perfect colors.
grammadee, I don't know how you keep up with the Cards and scrapping. You are the Energizer Bunny. Great job on the snowman peeking out and the inking on the embossed section of your card.

KikiPea I'm always happy for people to interpret challenges and sub in other stash how they want if that makes sense? I think sequins are blingy so go on, have the point and if twine works better for you than ribbon/ric-rac, have a point. I'm good with that. I would always sub something else in for a challenge if I didn't have the actual thing and call it good, like if I didn't have an overlay I might use some tracing paper/vellum instead, or if I don't have a die cut machine that works I might fussy cut something and call that good. I'm all for subbing in if you have to. Also, fabulous LO, I love how you put so many things on a LO so there's loads to look at but still some empty space to rest the eye, it looks great! grammadee love that squirrel holding the branches and your embossed stars look fantastic! Love Santa on the doily, how cute is that and again, way to go on doing all the sketches and getting the bonus points, especially as you were away from home at the start of the month! I love the embossing and the cute little snowman peeping out on your second card too. gale w w wow! Lush card, I love the colour on the sky and the cute fluffy hugs! I adore Meowy Christmas, I would love to get that card it's awesome! Amazing LO woodysbetty I love the letters you used for Jeep Fun, they look wonderful and the black, white and red is striking. freeatlast your colouring is amazing too, what a striking card and the bird is perfect! justjac amazing LO, I totally love the origami it looks freaking lush!!! nylene I do love the way you embellish, the leaves and flowers on Climbing Trees are super lush!

I was organizing my digital photos and these popped up, looked through my books and it wasn't there...since I don't always scrap chronologically I must have missed it!! newyeareve2004 by Marybeth Cully, on Flickr Grabbing points for the stash challenge (used some Rusty Pickle and 2010 Little Yellow Bicycle..) plus #6 Stick it, #21 Mix it up, # 22 Acrylics, #25 Be there or be Square, #26 Rock the Rectangles, & #42 Bung a camera for a total of 9 pts!

Fantastic grammadee , is the Christmas tree embossed on vellum? I love it! Great sequins too, looks awesome! Yes, the tree was embossed on plain vellum. Most of the time that works. Sometimes the heavier vellum cracks in the embossing folder, and the lighter stuff tears, but the SU! vellum seems to work okay for this. I want to make a few more of this design now that I have the vellum and the folder out, but I might just do the embossing and then bag up the pieces until I am on a card making binge.
