and another one for the college album - btw - I'm claiming the 'download from phone' points for these because I don't have a phone and they are from DD's phone that she sends to me via FB message. I'll take back the points if someone doesn't think I should claim those.

Linda, I LOVE the embossed vellum, and it is so pretty with the pink and the purple. And your pages are striking. I like the pink/purple circles and then the green stripes. Really like the white space on the last one: I struggle with that. nylene, I am off to ogle your cool pumpkin page in the Gallery.

This is my final sketch for Sketchtember - made it! I never thought I'd ever create 30 layouts in 34 days...I'm usually very slow to produce. So I'm VERY proud of myself!!! This is 2+17 points, and I'm working on a kit that I have yet to share (but have photographed) and it's mostly Vikki Boutin Field Notes. layout feeling all the feels by kirstendrew, on Flickr

Left love in the Gallery for you, boymom5. Thanks for taking on the "Don't Worry; Be Happy" challenge. Did you claim the bonus points for having BOTH all the elements AND the word "Happy"? Congrats, kitbop, on earning that 50 point bonus for September! I love the gorgeous photo and that Vicki Boutin line is perfect for it with all those happy colours. I like the way you wove that flower strip between the photo and the mat. Don't forget to claim the 5 points for Sketchtober ketchup!

boymom5 - love the navy and washi on your layout! I keep meaning to try thread (like Missy W, yes?) but I forget as I'm finishing up layouts! Looks great. linda - pretty cards, I love the look of embossed vellum but it is that bit of extra fiddle (not to crease it wrong, to adhere it without it being visible...). Your polkadot layout is adorable, I love the offset matting and the colours. On "freshmen", I like the horizontal stripe pulling the eye through the kids, and again, the colours are beautiful! nylene - halloween is beautiful, I LOVE the muted colours, the stripes, the amazing die cuts! grammadee, Season's greetings is too stinkin' cute! Love the dimensional! AussieMeg - your work is stunning, that mixed media corner - wow!

Here is my card I did this morning for CardTober #5. cardtober 5 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr And here is one I did yesterday evening for my Found Items challenge. Sorry for the quality of this photo: out of direct sunlight, everything looked really dingy and dark in the photo; in direct sunlight it appears washed out. I am still having ill cat stress here, I can not handle him being sick, I'd much rather be sick myself than have a poorly cat I don't cope well anymore. But I did manage to bash out my first DT LO today. Still using Vicki Boutin and today I got some of the watercolour crayons and I had to use them to try them out, that worked and a LO was born! I can only show a sneak until Nov 1st when my blog post will go live and then I'll share the whole LO. Taking 22 for this one, 1 for a LO, 1 for sharing, #12, #13, #14, #20, #21, #23, #24, #25, #26, #31, #35, #36, #38 + BONUS, #42, Oct Stash Challenge - label/tabs and Oct Bonus challenge old + new (very old border paper and brand new watercolour crayons and I mean so new they were barely out of the pizza box!).

For each flower on the CardTober #5 card, I needed 4 layers. When I cut them, I spaced them on the pearl cs, so I could lift THIS Pinterest pin. And I ended up with three additional cards that were really pretty simple (the red layers are actually behind the pearl): cards from negatives by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Points: three cards created & shared (6). #3 handwriting font (3). #5 diecutting (3). #15 rounded corners (3). #20 flowers (3). #23 word up (3) #26 rectangles (3). #41 bling (3). #45 MY way: I am always looking for ways to use the negatives when I diecut (3) Total: 30.

How is your pup doing now catseatcheese ? I have been thinking about you going through the same at the moment! Thanks for asking. She is so much better. I am hoping that tomorrow they will tell us we can go several days before going back to the vet. She has been every day or every other day for the past couple of weeks. I am just happy she chased one of her toys when we threw it today. It was the first time she has had enough energy and felt well enough to "play" in the past couple of weeks. I think they will stop some of the meds she is on as well. Big hugs to you #kiwigirl. It is so hard when a pet is ill. One of the worst things is that you know they do not feel well because they are not their normal self but they are unable to actually tell you what is wrong.

and the last one before I have to pack... You can't tell in the photo (since I covered her face) but she's got her full face of makeup on (hence the 'warpaint'). And she only took this picture yesterday - aren't you all proud of me for getting it scrapped already?

Linda, you are really going to town on that college album! I like the different shapes and colours on the pink one: so nice that she sent her sister a message for her birthday. And I like the totally different colour combo on the War paint page: the blues and greys seem to show your wish for strength for her for her speech.

I love the stripey paper on your Facebook chat LO Linda , gorgeous colours. And I LOVE the flowers! Do you know what I miss most about paper scrapping now that I only do digital? My beloved Prima flowers! And look, I've still got them (just had to brush the cobwebs off to take the photo ). Speaking of flowers.... the flowers on you Peace card are amazing grammadee ! I hope they don't get too crushed when you send the card to me all the way down here!
