kiwigirl, that page--like all your pages--is beautiful. I have no idea whom you are chanelling, but you have created a lovely page. I like the simple style, and the way the black elements POP with that pretty teal. Linda, I love that your kids send you photos to scrap. Really shows how much they appreciate your scrapbooking. That New Flat looks like a magazine page! And I love the criss crossed mats on the Christmas page. sleepingbooty, Your TN pages are--to quote kiwigirl--lush! Thanks for all the love in the Gallery, stinkerbelle ! Love that cluster of mats and extras behind the photo and title, kiwigirl . They really pop against those muted stripes. You are a master of this look. You have taken on someone else's style, yet your own style shines through. And I love the artsy touches of the splatters and the painted title. Here is my card for CardTober #12. This is a lousy picture of it, b/c the light is terrible this morning, but I wanted to get it photographed and posted before I (sadly) walk away from crafting for the day to do boring things like housework and laundry. cardtober #12 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Points: one card created and shared (2). One point each for these challenges: #1, #3, #4, #5, #15, #20. #23, #26, #27, #31, #41, #43, #53. Total: 15

What a lovely way to scrapbook: typing up the actual letters and including them on a page! I also love your Paperkins sailor man, Linda. That's why we don't throw stuff away: there often is a use for it in the future, so our scraproom is actually a time machine--a link between past and future.

joyfulnana , chrissy321 , woodysbetty, justjac , JaneB and grammadee , you have love in the gallery. gmcwife1 , Your 50th anniversary card is beautiful. I love the matching scallops on the sentiment mat, the hearts and the edges of your card. Very lovely. Your Christmas Tree cards are simply elegant. I love the music paper showing through the cut hole. Classy! The winding stitches on your cream paper really add a beautiful touch. KikiPea , your puppy layout is so pretty. I love the inking/paint you used on the background. Just gorgeous technique. You do wonderful clusters! I love the little note and the hanging banner. Beautiful work. On your Totally Awesome page I love the way the design builds up above the photos on the right and below the photos on the left. Very nice! You have layering and clusters down to a science! Linda , your letter page with the phony stamp really made me laugh. How on earth did you even get it? So funny. Love the little cancellation stamp! Your Okinawa photos are amazing. How did he dare get that close? Lovely pages, I love those blues. Your food page is bright and fun and the colors match the photo perfectly. I like it! I really love that paper you used on the Barracks Lobby page. Those little icons are perfect. I don’t think I have ever seen that paper used before. You did a great job with it. I love the wording on your Not Turkey page. The little words at the bottom are really sweet. I love the colors you used with the grid background. Congrats to your son on his quick promotions. He must be a great guy and is making himself irreplaceable. You must be so pleased! Beautiful pages. I can’t read the journaling on New Flat, but I’m sure he was glad to get out of the barracks. It looks nice. Perfect Christmas page of your son! Sorry he is far from home. Paperkins, LOL, I still have a drawer full of them. My DD worked at Pebbles and got lots on clearance. My granddaughters have such fun with them. Great page..paperkin and all. I still love them. Shipping Out is great. I love your definition at the bottom. I love the way you have preserved his letters! gale w , Your Christmas card is adorable. I love the cat and bunny snowmen. Such a cute idea and I love the Santa and sleigh flying through. The stitched background and the clear sequins are great touches. kiwigirl , I love your signature scent. The subtle colors of nuvos look great against the black background. I love your spatters and design of your elements. Very classy! I love the white space and your use of mesh. I don’t know who you are channeling, but I am amazed by the design of this page. Minimalistic and simply gorgeous. Love the For Real page. I had to laugh at your comment about loving to make this style of page, but......you really like using products. You are great at both styles. It has been fun to see this new look from you! sleepingbooty , your pages are beautiful. I love the large spatters in the center. I wish I could do that and have it look like yours instead of a paint spill. Beautiful photos and the gold glitter in the title is really classy.

joyfulnana, I kept losing my post and stinkerbelle suggested opening a word document and typing it all there, switching from the 2peas page to the document. I have been doing that and haven't lost a post since. Then just copy it from the document and paste it here. Hope that helps.

Page 7 KikiPea I love everything about your pool page! The title and clustering there is fabulous! And there is plenty of white space too. Great one! linda I had a chuckle at your "to protect the innocent" lol. I love those colors and the postmark is a perfect touch! The photos on the typhoon page are amazing! I would take steak over turkey any day lol. Love that sticker border at the bottom. JaneB the "thinking of you" card is just beautiful! I love the soft monochromatic scheme and the velum is just the perfect touch. kitbop Wow! I love the dramatic background those colors created on Posing Party! I've started working on a 6x8 album from a short vacation I took earlier using my stash kit for this month. I have loved this paper forever but have never known how to use it, so I'm thrilled to have finally cut into it (and added some Sassafrass deer for good luck!).

I totally forgot to share my #Cardtober 13 challenge here this morning! Love & Tea
I made everything myself except the button and thread. Oh and the card, that's Stampin' Up in Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake, Garden Green and Whisper White, though the sun caught me out and skewed the colours with my orange walls! Fonts are KLBeaches and Just Write Solid.
Challenges met: Cardtober #13 (2 cards), found (linen thread), use your dies (I made all the pieces), rectangles, cut file shapes = 8 GâchéThis is my best Google French - gâché meaning spoiled - with apologies to sleepingbooty and other French speakers if it's totally wrong Tous les nouveaux ( all new) - Halloween wreath, wheelchair, pretty mouse mat and a soft footstool that's keeping my feet very warm right now Digital elements from Lovelines and Shabby Couture by etcDanyale. I made the tiny word stickers and the title, the font is Debonair Inline. Challenges met: Sketchy Saturday #2 (13th Oct), pretty on (new wheelchair, ha!), download it (today's photos, can't get newer than that!), rectangles, tiny talk, no animals/people = 9
Due to hand problems this week I've kept computer use to a minimum, so I've not left many comments for which I apologise. I have tried to like all the posts, and I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the wonderful pages and reading the stories.

Well, I'm finally getting a chance to jump on the scrappy train and post some layouts! YAY for weekends! Here's one of Disney World waaay back in the 80's... One for a family wedding back in 1987... And one of the twins while Nana takes them to daycare in the morning.... The other two I did are posted on the Sketchy Saturday posts. Now I have to go babysit for the rest of the night. Hopefully I'll be back tomorrow!
