My six points and I feel like such underacheivers. I did actually print off the reference list, though. Gonna take it with me to my retreat Thursday, see what I get done. This made me laugh too! I am usually the one with the lowest points on the team so welcome to the bottom haha! someone needs to be the lowest and each and every one of you is valuable to the team. The scores are usually pretty close between the teams so even a few points helps! And truthfully, it's really NOT about the points, even if some of us overachievers make it seem otherwise. It's about having fun, making friends, and using our pretty scrapbook stash. [and if anyone is reading along thinking...gosh, I didn't get any points this month...no worries...I've been there before also and no one shamed me for it - some months, life gets in the way of scrapping...sometimes because we're MAKING memories and sometimes because life is HARD]

linda I agree with all of this. It took me a couple of months to stop feeling pressure to get a lot of points. I enjoying seeing others work and the chatting more than anything And getting some scrapping done in the process is the bonus!

Oh girls, don't even worry about the points! Like everyone has said, they're not important. I do just appreciate it if you do say whether you have got any or not, just so I'm not waiting on people to announce results. I am doing badly this month, last month I had over 1000 points (don't even know how, I'm sure I probably added up wrong!) and this month I think I have 150! I have no mojo this month! Just finished tidying my room.... well, I should sort out under the desk but I can't be bothered today. It will all still be there tomorrow! I still have no mojo to do anything, sh!t happens

yes, no one is going to be black-listed for not getting enough points, i promise! there are months when i do amazingly well and months where i pretty well suck ass. for me the points are a sort-of personal motivation. like if someone posts a LO and it has 40 points i think, i could do that and so i'll try. sort of like beating your personal best score in a game. i think the most i've managed on one page this month is 33 and it was so full of crap it's kind of ridiculous, but i'm USING stuff and that's really all that matters to me. so if you make 4 points or 4000, just do your best and we still want you to hang out with us

I'm so glad no-one cares about the points! This is my best month ever and I'm on 120-something...I will definitely never make 4 digits kiwigirl!! It's just nice to have so much inspiration in one place, and being in a team makes me feel like I have a 'place', if that makes sense. I spent a long time lurking on the scrapbooking board because I wasn't really scrapping and didn't feel I had anything to say. This has definitely made me join in more. I am still scrapping, slowly...might get another page done but were away tomorrow and Thursday and my next chemo is Friday. I feel such a sense of panic when my chemo is due, like I have to DO EVERYTHING beforehand. I have learnt to manage it a bit better now but it certainly motivates me to do things. Including crafting

I never thought I would make 1000 points craftykitten ! It was Sketchtember and I did all the sketches so that's why, and I was up to about 920 points and thought come on girl, you can do it, so I did some LOs specifically to make it over 1000 I am sure it will never happen again! Enjoy your time away, the weather is lush for you so I hope you have a great time before your next chemo This month I am useless! Cleaned my room all up (I still need to tackle under the desk) and I'm not feeling it at all. I did move the meager amount of magazines and books I have remaining in to one cubbyhole and I'm planning on grabbing one, finding something to scraplift and going for it. I hope it kickstarts the mojo! Linda how are you getting on with your diabetes numbers? I hope you're doing ok there and not having to start on insulin

Honestly I think this is the thing I have liked most about the teams and the challenges. I feel like I "know" so many of you now beyond your avatar or your love of certain brands. I especially love that our sharing threads are truly representative of a variety of styles.

kiwigirl - well today's number was awesome...I'm not quite sure what I did differently yesterday than all the other days to get a 50pt DROP in my fasting number but I'll take it and hope it continues. Thanks for asking.

Good on you getting the number down Linda although I do know that sometimes you have no idea how you did it! My numbers were doing well but man, cat stress when he was ill sent them up again pretty quickly Hope you're feeling better today hun. I have a LO on the go on my desk but I am not loving it at all and forcing myself to do it!

Thanks kiwigirl - it's not quite as awesome a number today but still MUCH improved so I'm hoping that the new med dosage is finally kicking in. Camping will probably throw it off again At least I'm feeling better today.

I'm laughing right now at the points conversation. I have zero points for this month! I'm working on a bunch, but nothing is finished. I'm still going to try to make that end of month deadline though. I'm so out of the loop, I actually don't know which team I'm on this month, but your thread was up at the top, so maybe just for this morning I'll join your crew

You are on our team msliz ! And we'll have whatever points you contribute whether that be 0, 1000 or 33! I currently have 2 LOs on the go on my desk but I'm waiting on things drying. I have them together but haven't put titles on yet which is weird for me cause usually I am photo, papers, build the base design up then add a title and then carry on embellishing and making pretty. These LOs are much further on than I usually get before adding titles. I don't know what to put, that's why! Also, we have a dude here digging holes in the lawn looking for why our water pressure is atrocious to the house and it's throwing my anxiety through the roof. I'm paranoid he's going to come and ask me a question (OH had to go out for a while so I'm alone) and I won't know the answer. I am currently hiding in the house like a mouse, hoping he doesn't need anything. I hate this, I used to be outside talking to workmen, making them drinks and nothing phased me. Now I'm taking herbal pills to try and calm myself down. I'm useless!

Thanks Chinagirl828 good points, have a great holiday! Lots more photos to scrap I managed to do a 43 point Lo yesterday! I sat down and wrote all the challenges I thought I could get on a LO and set about getting as many on there as I could. That was my challenge to myself this month, a 40 point LO and I did it! I am feeling slightly more scrappy too, so I should crack on while the feeling is there. It is a lovely day, the sun is coming up over the other side of the valley and the sky looks amazing so we will be golfing later on and getting a good walk done. Yesterday I managed to do an hour on the exercise bike and then over an hours walk too, I don't know what has happened to me!

Good for you! Make the most of it while the weather is nice. I have been using the challenges a lot more this month and they've inspired me to do a few different things. I fell asleep thinking about them last night, lol. OH has some new hobby stuff to pick up today (anyone elses husband play Warhammer?) So I think we're in for a quiet hobby day at home.

Dang kiwigirl! 40 points?! I just posted one with 12 which is the most points I've gotten on one LO lol! I have definitely been in cleaning/organizing mode more than scrapping this month. Hope everyone is having a good weekend! linda I hope you keep feeling better! Man, I need to get some exercise in. For real. I just can't find a reliable time of day. I typically workout at home and living on the second floor puts a damper on a lot of jumping around lol.

I finally got a chance to scrap last night - after not scrapping for almost two weeks! I'm not sure how to add the points for this, though.
I'm making a traveler's notebook about Halloween 2018. I picked up two inserts at CKC Lancaster and thought I would do a small book with them. So far so good. I've got about half the book done with pre-Halloween stuff, will finish it later this week after Halloween.

Welp kiwigirl, I think I'm calling it done this month. My points are updated in the thread, and I have a total of 77! IDK, I just wasn't feeling it this month, but I'm excited for next month even though I will probably get even less done than I did this month lol.

Thanks joyfulnana and 77 is great if you're not feeling it this month. I am not either, it's been a struggle to scrap at all. I ordered some new (but really old Bella Blvd ones) papers the other day in the hopes that having something new would spark my mojo off. They are taking forever to arrive so I'm hoping they'll be here today and get me excited about scrapping again!

I got another packet of photos today and I feel so inspired! I've got a new phone and discovered the Free Prints app which gives you 45 free prints a month and you just pay postage. I was doubtful that they would be any good quality-wise but I'm super impressed. More photos! More stories to tell! kiwigirl I have been updating the thread and I am on 209 points. It's a record for me! Clearly autumn is my prime scrapbooking time. I am still using that delicious box of stash you sent me and I keep finding things that make me go 'oh'! You've been so kind Hugs to everyone, hope you can get some last-minute scrapbooking in and you're all keeping well. Kate x

I must check out the free prints app too All the photos I get printed these days come from my phone and it might make me take some more! My new but old papers didn't arrive today! We went for a 2 hour walk along the canal anyway so I'm not achieving much. I will go to my craft room and see if I can make something but I seem to be doing a lot of shuffling lately and not much else!
