JaneB, I hope you start feeling better. I love your wreath! Maybe you need a smaller version to go on the back of the wheelchair?

Fabulous wreath JaneB! I think I would love decorating for halloween as well, if I lived in the States I would probably be all over that holiday! Absolutely filthy day here today, grey, dark, wind and rain, it's horrible! I was planning on going shopping but I think I'll stay home, ride my 10 miles (going nowhere) and scrap instead! I am feeling a bit more mojo so I should crack on while it's here!

JaneB love the wreath - very nice! I don't think we're decorating this year -DH managed to bury all my totes under stuff I can't move. I hope the new wheelchair works out better soon. Get some rest and feel better!

JaneB what a cool wreath! i'm like your hubs, i'd have the entire house in and out decorated if i could. alas, nowhere to store the stuff when not in use! your new wheels look quite spiffy; hope it loosens up soon before all your muscles get locked up!

decided on my next project - scrapping the first six-ish months DS was in the Navy -from swearing in to basic to A-school. I don't think I'll be sharing too many of these pages - since I'm scrapping his letters, that's a bit too personal to share - but I'll claim points anyway.
So far, I've done a title page (complete with Paperkins sailor, lol), his swearing in, and the first letter home.

The wheelchair is improving slowly, thanks! I have had to resort to mid-afternoon pain relief so I doubt I'll be much use now.
In fact, please help me... Talk me out of spending £36.73 on Midnight from Cocoa Vanilla. I love this collection, the 6 x 6 pad would be just my size but can I really justify it??
But it's so nice!!
It's a lot of money.
I'd be scared to use it and mess up.
But it's sooo nice!!!
You'll use up all your pocket money until 1st November.
Then again I do the accounts, I can give myself extra!
It's soooooooooo nice!!!!
Are these pills working yet???

Buy it JaneB, BUY IT!!! You should push the button quick if you want it cause I reckon that will sell out pretty quick and we'll have to wait for re-stocks. I think the amount you've been scrapping lately, you deserve to re-stock the stash a bit

Ooohhhh I don't know. Honestly, I'm notoriously bad at using paper without first mocking up what I'm doing on the computer.... Decisions, decisions... tea, I need tea!
But it's soooo nice!!!

I WANT that collection! JaneB I love your wreath! I'm not much into Halloween though, so I don't decorate for it. It's a filthy day here too as kiwigirl put it lol. Rainy and chilly and I love it! So ready for cold after the horrendous heat of the summer. But we do seem to only get 2 seasons here now. No more Spring or Fall and I don't like that part. Boo. But I'm off work today and heading into my scrap room now to see what I can get done. SG is having an online crop this weekend so I will be trying to combine challenges there with these here and maybe I can get lots of points!

I'm no help JaneB ....literally adding it to my cart right now! I beat you to it, I ordered as soon as I was back at my desk with a cup of tea
Then I pretended to be good by making a template of the Sketchy Saturday so I can have a go at making a page. I think I've almost got it ready.
joyfulnana we don't really do Halloween but I loved the wreath. Ian would only like to decorate because he wants flashing lights and scary things popping out all over the place. It's been a wet, windy and grey day here too, and more of the same for the weekend so that means I can not feel guilty about staying in!

I feel like I've been totally MIA this month. I'm pretty sure I was burnt out after sketchtember and the weather has definitely moved into spring so the two have conspired to keep me away from my desk.
I think I'm going to try and pull out the rest of the things I need for the kit challenge (I have half of it pulled out already) and see if that can get me back in the game.

Same Chinagirl828! I have only really got my mojo back but I think it's at about 60% and not fully recharged yet! We did go hard out in September lol! Another filthy day here and we woke up to cat sick which is never good (cat has IBD and he's on steroids for a cycle the other week and not been quite right so this could be a bad thing). Wind and rain and, well, it's still dark so I don't know what it will be like but I'm expecting grey and dark when the sun eventually comes up. I don't think we will be golfing today so maybe I will scrap. I have 2 DT LOs on my desk that need titles deciding and then embellishing.

kiwigirl you know you said you hated working with that Amy Tangerine collection for your last lot of DT layouts? I might have just bought a load. It was the rabbits! And the embellishment packs...I kinda like it

I have an in process 2 pager on my table. I started it yesterday, had it pretty much done but wasn't liking it, so I took it apart and started over lol. But I'm going to like this version much better. I hate looking through my albums and seeing LO's I don't really like. Probably a big part of why I'm such a slow scrapper lol.
Another dark rainy day here, perfect for scrapping!

no scrapping here so far today - I was up at 545 to go with DH and DD12...DD12 rides every Saturday at 630 about 20 minutes away. I don't usually go but we had another activity at 10 an hour the opposite direction that I needed to be go to so...I had to tag along. Had a nice 'date' at McD's with DH while DD rode. Then we went to the Girl Scout citizenship event until noon, lunch, and then went to a state park and walked around for a while before heading back home. I'm worn out. www.floridastateparks.org/parks-and-trails/devils-millhopper-geological-state-park

I don't blame you not getting up craftykitten, I don't know about where you are but here, it's pouring down and very grey/dark! At least the ferocious wind has stopped, now we need to go and access all the damage outside! I have 3 DT LOs on the go so I'd like to finish them all off today. I am at the embellishing stage. I have tried out the watercolour stickers in the VickiB line and I love them! I usually don't bother actually watercolouring anything but I did some and they look fab! I highly recommend those.

It's 9.15am here, grey and damp outside and I can't get going Not that I have to go anywhere; I can stay here at my desk playing all day - just like yesterday
Well, not playing - I've got my #Cardtober challenge designed for next Saturday so I've now got to make it!

I got to my desk at 9 this morning and it's now 3 hours later...ive done 1 page and a whole load of tidying up. So slow! Linda that is no good. I hate it when I can't lie in. Usually it is my cat that wakes me up, but lately I think it's all my medications. Then I feel guilty for lying in bed doing nothing, I should be up making the most of the day! My gran used to set an alarm for 7am every day of her life and she was always up and about. I often think of her and try to channel her determination, even when she was very sick and hardly mobile she stuck to her routine. How's your rainy day scrapbooking going kiwigirl and JaneB? It's clearing up a bit here but still very grey. Perfect staying indoors weather 😁

I battled a new cutting mat that's a bit too sticky. Then I wrestled twine into bows. That is so much easier on a computer!!! They're not my best work but my examples for next Saturday are done It's a good job Ian's here to make the drinks, I've no energy for doing that as well as making stuff. How do you paper people manage all this wrangling?? I'm off for well-earned lie down soon

I just got a new cutting mat JaneB! I was gifted a £25 Amazon voucher and used half of it on a new cutting mat - cause I'm boring like that! I finished off my 3 DT LOs this morning and have pointed those. I have enough for my blog post now so I can start working on fun stuff next. I plan to tackle Saturday's Sketch!

My Saturday crop was cancelled but I was invited to "crafty camp," as SO calls it, at the end of the month. (A group of 6 of us rent out a cabin and craft all weekend.) But I did confine myself to the craft room on Saturday and YES, I only got three cards done but that's normal. LOL. I did take some photos but haven't uploaded yet. Will need to tomorrow, since once if for a contest! But I made sure that everything I made fit some challenge.

I didn't finish a thing this weekend. I did get quite a bit of straightening and organizing done so at least I got some points lol. I'm getting a cold and just not feeling like doing much. I have this evening free so I'm hoping to finish that layout at least. Sounds like you found your mojo kiwigirl!
