It disappeared pretty quick again joyfulnana, I'm so flippen cold I can't concentrate! I just went back to bed to read cause I was so cold. Then I had to get up and change the bed and put the electric blanket on so I have a place to go and get warm if I need it! I don't have a thyroid anymore (it used to go overactive so I had radioactive iodine to get rid of it) and I have been feeling the cold ever since and it sucks! Or maybe it's the 33lb I've lost making me feel colder!

33lb?! That's awesome kiwigirl! I know you've been working hard on it, well done! I am, yet again, battling with an online photo-ordering system because they have a half price offer on calendars which I thought would be good Christmas presents for MIL and my mum. But it ends today so I need to finish it quickly and of course it's not working properly. Bah!

33 pounds- that's fantastic kiwigirl ! I'm poking around the boards when I can these days, but I'm getting nothing done by way of scrapping. When I'm not tackling my yard, DD20 with the health issues is claiming my time. She's challenging herself to get out more, even when she doesn't have the spoons for it. And that's very good for her, but exhausting for me. It seems like I've been out just about every day this month. I'm finally relaxing with just some housework today. Happy scrapping everyone!

33lbs - that's AWESOME kiwigirl - well done! I'm having a not-so-good day after a busy weekend - woke up with a headache and some tummy issues - took a nap and feel a bit better but not awesome. Can't seem to find my motivation anywhere

i've been scrapping today but it's been a very sloooooooow process. my knees are aching due to the very wet weather we've been having the past several days and since i stand to scrap, i've had to take several breaks. i'm about to break out the icy hot!
it's only a little after 7pm here, so i'm hoping to get back to the trenches soon!

Hope you got your calendars ordered ok craftykitten ! msliz nice to see someone else using the spoons theory! I know what you mean about relaxing with some housework too! I saw you posting a few things Linda so I guess you found some motivation? Mine is severely lacking this month, I think we're all burned out after Sketchtember! stinkerbelle is right Eddie-n-Harley , crafty camp sounds wonderful, I want to come too! I just looked at your card and I think you can take a point for #41 bling and 1 for #20 florals too stinkerbelle hope the knees are ok chickadee! It's grey and grim again here but I think it's cause we're in the clouds so who knows, it could be ok down lower? I was thinking of going grocery shopping but I don't know if I can be bothered to go out, so I might get my butt on the exercise bike instead (be still my beating heart ).

Thanks kiwigirl I did manage to get the calendars ordered. Then I had weird dreams about them last night that they all turned up with the wrong photos on. How strange! I hope you feel better today Linda and that your knees are better stinkerbelleI am going for a wig fitting today. The hospital have been struggling to find one that fits my big head so I am limited in styles...this one is basically my last chance. I mostly don't mind being bald but sometimes it would be nice to have the option to look 'normal'. Hah!

Good luck craftykitten ! I can imagine at the moment it would be more like, I want to keep my head warm! But you know, good luck looking 'normal'

I haven't been creating as much lately as I've been reading like a crazy person lately, I think I've read four or five books in the last ten days. My internet has been playing up and being online has been painfully slow which means I'm not in my office/scrap room anywhere near as frequently. I'm hoping to make some time this weekend to work on my current travel album project before we head away for a few days at the end of the month.

craftykitten good luck with the wig fitting! i can understand wanting to look "normal" sometimes...but i'd totally be painting cool stuff on my head or getting a funky head tattoo and scrapping that shit lol. big hugs to you hon! thanks for the kind words everyone, the knees are feeling much better this morning, although it's raining again and i haven't stepped into the scrappy arena yet. but you're all sweet Chinagirl828 although i'm missing seeing lots of gorgeous LOs from you, if you're enjoying reading, go for it! i've never understood people who don't read and don't blame you one bit for passing up crappy internet for a good book

Eddie-n-Harley I write out a list of the challenges on a pad (writing them out helps me get them cemented in my head) and then when I finish a project, I go through the list with my project in front of me and see what challenges it fits. Sometimes I will then add a flower, some bling and other things, just to fit challenges. But I have to go through the list and see what fits for sure! MDscrapaholic has done a printable list here as well I am thinking about going through my craft room and giving it a good tidy. I have Expedits and boxes in the cubbyholes and I feel like I can start consolidating some of the boxes and creating more space. So I'm thinking this might be my task today. Wednesday is usually golf day but the weather is a bit iffy and I don't think we'll be going so I might get on the bike and do 10 miles, then start re-organising my room. And I know once I start, I will stand there like, what am I doing, why did I start this, now I have to finish!

Just poking my head in to say hi! And dang I've missed a lot of chit chat! I have done no scrapping, but have done some straightening and organizing instead. Just can't get the scrapping going this week. Chinagirl828 I used to be a voracious reader. Now that time goes to the Internet and scrapping. But I have a ton of books to read and have been carving out more minutes here and there for it. I hate it when the Internet is acting up. It drives me nuts! Hope everyone is have a great week. And kiwigirl great job on the 33lbs! craftykitten I had that same fight with a photobook last week. I gave up lol.

I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. I've had a great week, health-wise, and feeling much better than my last round of chemo. Today we went to visit an alpaca farm and ate lunch outside. In the UK! In October! Its mad but the sunshine is wonderful.
And I've been scrapping. I think this is the first month I've claimed over 100 points lol. All the pages are in my flickr album but I haven't linked them to the chat thread yet, I cant keep up with all the comments on there.
It's Saturday evening here so I hope you're all doing something fun.

I had a Girl Scout lock-in last night - it went well but wiped me out. Lights out wasn't until midnight-ish and I didn't sleep much at all and I had to be up at 545 to wake up MY daughter as her dad was picking her up early at 6 for her horse riding. We woke everyone else up at 730 but I didn't manage any sleep in the middle. I crashed when I got home and took a long nap but I'm still dragging.

How's everyone doing? I am not doing well, haven't scrapped for days! I have been tidying my craft room and I'm nearly done I think. I bought a new raskog type cart from Hobbycraft, to make into a dedicated mixed media trolley. So I've finished consolidating things in my Expedits and made more room in those and now I need to start on my trolleys and get them sorted and I'd like to make some more space to move on my desk cause I was getting a bit hemmed in.
I don't think my points total will be anything spectacular this month that's for sure! I am just not feeling it, I definitely think I used up a lot of creativity in Sketchtember!

i'm still plugging away. my points are over 400, so i'm making stuff, just doesn't seem like a lot of stuff. i did make a page last night when i wasn't expecting to, so that's a good thing. i've been uploading old LOs to flickr just so i have them stored in another place (after losing everything i'd made from 2001-2006 in a house fire, i'm paranoid of having no digital record). it's taking FOREVER! i don't know if it's my internet or flickr or what, but dang. at least i can get some points for it! kiwigirl you'll have to show us some photos of your mixed media cart when you finish

Hey All! I am plodding along. I hope to be able to post something every day thru the EOM. This has been a relatively slow month @ home.- ie. I'm not doing a whole lot of housework & am making simple meals,so am getting a little time in my scrap room every day, which makes me happy.i wish I would take more time to comment. Because I am truly inspired by everyone's work. Kiwigirl- you are to be applauded on your weight loss. MY DH is diabetic & it is a constant struggle for him.
