myboysnme , you always amaze me with how many pages you can create in one weekend! I love all the different looks. So great that you are scrapping all those retro looking photos of your adventures 40 years ago, and you have the perfect papers and extras to showcase the pic's. I think my favorites are Soaking up the Sun (love the realistic water bg and that funky sun) and the Halloween page (love the blocking of title/journaling/photo on that orange spooky background). The road trip pages are great too. Love that you used scenic background on the one set and the map on another. And KelleeM, your weekend was definitely a success as well. Will you be posting these pages in the Gallery? Would love to look at them each in detail.

I have finally finished the page I have been working on for almost a week. I have been keeping a little journal of all the funny things Alex says. I had put off scrapping it for a year because I didn't know how I would do all that journaling. When I saw this "speech bubble" cut file I knew what I wanted to do. I cut the file twice and sandwiched patterned paper and typed vellum journaling between them. This ended up being a many point layout, so I loaded on a bit more and made it a mega-point layout. Alex-isms #6 Stamps, #8 Buttons #10 Quotes #11 Brads, #12 Washi tape, #13 Rectangle, #20 Nuvos #21 5 diff embellishments types, #22 Puffy stickers, #24 Smilie #25 Donna with equation-6pts, #26 Gold frame #27 Current photo-taken in Oct=2pts, #29 Die cutting, #30 Food-2 speech bubbles about food, #33 Specialty paper-vellum, #35 5 brands of paper pads-Dear Lizzy, Pebbles, Studio Cal, Bazzill, EP=5pts, #37 Hedgehog, #39 over 50 words, #40 Grid, #49 Flower, #50 Punches, #51 6x6 paper pads for bubbles,#52 Stitches, embossed and in buttons, #55 Pop Dots, #64 Frame, #65 5 diff. patterned papers, #67 Paper clip, #68 Blue bird, #73 Arrow clip, #75 Clock brad, #76 Wooden snowflake + Silhouette, Nuvo, Orange background, Washi tape= 6pts, #77 Enamel Dot, #78 Sequins, #79 Silver Stars#80 Wood. one page completed and posted +53 + 10 Bonus = 63 pts.
Now to catch up on comments on all your beautiful projects.

myboysnme , I am so impressed with the number of layouts you did. You have been a busy scrapper. I love the variety in your pages and especially love the older (1970's) photos that you scrapped so well. I find those older photos hard to scrap because of their color, but you have done a great job with them. Congratulations! kiwigirl, your DT layouts look so intriguing. I am always impressed by your Nuvo abilities. I just used a few on a layout and they didn’t come out very well. I guess I need practice. Beautiful work! KelleeM , I am amazed at all you got accomplished. Your pages are beautiful and so individually designed. I love the photos at the Grand Canyon. As close as I live, I have never been there. Wonderful birthday banners, Halloween, party and family activities. You are a speedy scrapper! The I Love You page is totally gorgeous. That is a delightful little gal. myboysnme , I just read that you did 62 pages in a weekend??? That seems impossible to me. You have done some wonderful pages. I love seeing your handwriting on each one. You have great titles and every page is well designed. I would love to know the secret of getting so much done! Everyone who posts in the gallery has love from me.

Here's a fun card we made at Card Club last week. The turkey is a cut file from Miss Kate's Cuttables. It's not worth a lot of points, but I know my DBIL and DSIL will enjoy receiving it. Happy Thanksgiving Card #13 Rectangle, #29 Die cutting, #40 Layering, #53 Scraps (DD raided all my scraps to cut these for us!) #68 Bird, one card posted. Total: 7 pts.

You have great titles and every page is well designed. I would love to know the secret of getting so much done! Thank you! I actually was at a retreat so it was 3 days, not just 2. I started around noon on Friday and finished around 3 on Sunday. I scrapped until 10 pm Fri and Sat. As for how I get so many done, I look at my photos, go through my stash and pull things that meet the theme for the photos and anything that might work. Then when I am scrapping I pull the photos and whatever I brought that I could use, and scrap the page. My goal is to get the pages done so I don't try to get artistic or fancy. I just use what I have and move along!

This LO is for the Lyrics & Music challenge. Ever since I started scrapbooking when my daughter was a baby, I have wanted to do a LO using these song lyrics, because they fit so well (except for the bit about wishing her hair was much darker, because her hair was actually so much darker than we expected!). The kit is 'Welcome to the World' by Kimeric Kreations, as well as other bits and pieces that I forgot to keep track of. The song is "A Little Ray of Sunshine" by Axiom. It was written in 1970, which is the year my sister was born (and DD's middle name is my sister's name). I have always loved the song. ETA: There is a line in the song "I want to know if you think she looks good in the pink her grandma has bought her". The pink dress that DD is wearing in the photo was bought by her grandma. Points: 1 for doing a LO, 1 for sharing, #6 Stamps, #8 Haberdashery, #10 Wordsmith, #11 Metal Worker, #12 Sticky situation, #13 Rectangles, #14 Squares, #15 Mixing Bowl, #20 Nuvos, #21 Embellishing 101, #38 Old photo, #40 Layers, #49 Flower Power, #52 In Stitches, #64 Frame It, #65 See the Pattern, #68 Put a bird on it, #70 Lyrics & Music, #77 Put a dot on it, #79 Slivers of Silver TOTAL = 22 points

These were all completed this month but have been in the "are they really done?" pile. Except the one that needs the story, yes they're done! Cookies by BreetheFlea, on Flickr I know this "family" cookie recipe is not anything special since you can find the recipe on Google, but they remind me of my Grandma so I made a page about them. points: making/sharing-2 finish it up-this page has been half finished for quite a while-1 rectangle/square-2 just one photo-1 food photos-1 journaling-1 I think there was a challenge about scrapping a memory but I can't find it on my list...-1 only 9 pts, but it's finally finished Ready or Not by BreetheFlea, on Flickr November challenge: complimentary colors. My son's school colors happen to be complimentary The school name was in the background, so sorry about the hidden parts. Points: finished/shared-2 stamps-1 washi-1 square layout-1 rectangle photo-1 one photo-1 stay current-1 feeling edgy-1 feeling special (cork)-1 complimentary colors-1 punches-1 pre-made word in the title-1 wood-1 14 points the school mascot (blocked out) is a bird... does that count as putting a bird on the layout? ;P Tundra by BreetheFlea, on Flickr sharing/making-2 rectangles/squares-2 washi-1 stay current-1 social mixer title-2 pts I go here-OMSI-1 snowflake-1+ Snowflakes N-navy O-OMSI W-washi-6 15 points Bees by BreetheFlea, on Flickr I am addicted to scrapbooking paper/stickers/stamps with bees on it... now I need to use some of it! sharing/making-2 stamps-1 you time-1 square page-1 journaling-1 punches-1 stay current-1 get outdoors-1 animal antics-bees are my favorite-1 put a bird on it- bees fly...1 11 points Carousel by BreetheFlea, on Flickr This was an attempt at mega points that didn't quite get there. Technically no points because it's not done...the journaling will go on the back, it's sort of a weird story so it's hard to figure out what to write... points: sharing/making-2 finish it up: well technically it's not yet, but these photos have been waiting to be scrapped since last December-1 haberdashery-buttons-1 washi-1 squares-1 mixed media (gold mist)-1 Nuvos (5 pts), technically I used three colors of Stickles, I hope those count since I don't own any Nuvos... embellishing 101-enamel dots, sequins, puffy bow stickers, washi, stickles-1 puffy stickers-1 gold-1 stay current-1 dies/cutting files-die cut the doily-1 feeling special (glitter paper)-1 random icon- not exactly random since they are carousel animals on a carousel layout-but one giraffe and one zebra-2 journaling-there will definitely be 50+words on here when I finish-1 flower-1 get punchy-1 6 by 6 papers-1 premade word title-1 animal antics-1 clip it up- clothes pins, although they were too bulky so I only used half-1 enamel dots-1 sequins-1 silver-1 30 points, and I am now going to go write that journaling and get it over with Orchestra by BreetheFlea, on Flickr black and white photo + one color sharing/making-2 stamps (cat playing the cello)-1 washi-1 rectangles and squares-2 puffy stickers-1 stay current-1 feeling edgy-torn paper-1 random icon-backpack die cut-1 black and white+one color (blue)-plus bonus for using a black and white photo=3 punches-1 in stitches -stitched heart die around the cat stamp-1 15 points Looking over my random assortment of pages, I think I discovered my scrapbooking style: multiple personalities. Here's one I got to work on this weekend so far. It's been a week of cooking and cleaning with Thanksgiving so I haven't been able to relax at all until now! And no I didn't claim a bonus point for the kit name.
