This LO was a really quick and simple one. Well ok, I admit.... it wasn't quick (I'm never quick) but it was simple! I used the 'Birds Go Tweet' kit by Lindsay Jane. I scraplifted this from somewhere, I just have to try and find the original.... These two little 9yo girls just had their 21st birthday parties this month. How time flies! Points: 1 for the LO, 1 for sharing, #8 Haberdashery, #13 Rectangles, #14 Squares, #15 Mixing Bowl, #20 Nuvos, #38 Old Photo, #49 Flower Power, #52 In Stitches, #59 Get Outdoors, #68 Put a Bird on it, #77 Put a dot on it. I'm very happy with this one, but I can't really claim credit because I used a template, so all the hard work and design was done by someone else. I know it's quite similar to another LO I did the other day (also used for a Mother's Day photo), but I wanted to get another rainbow type LO done for this month's challenge. The template is Layer Works No. 916' by Kayleigh Wiles, and the kit is 'Only the Beginning' by Kimeric Designs, with some elements from other Kimeric kits. Points: 1 for the LO, 1 for sharing, #6 stamps, #8 Haberdashery, #10 Wordsmith (the title 'Love is All You Need' by The Beatles), #11 Metal Worker, #13 Rectangles, #14 Square, #15 Mixing Bowl, #20 Nuvos, #21 Embellishing 101, #28 Photo I didn't take, #34 social Mixer, #40 Layers, #49 Flower Power, #52 In Stitches, #54 Colour the Rainbow, #68 Put a Bird On It, #73 Arrow, #77 Put a Dot On It, #79 Silver. So I keep sitting down trying to do a simple page and then I get carried away. I've been inspired by some Jen Schow pages with her layering and using scraps. These aren't what I set out to make, but I love them none the less. The lighting hasn't been good lately for taking pictures... I just posted the 20 page 6 by 8 album of Ally’s first Christmas on Flickr. I haven’t figured out the linking bit. I started getting sick with a cold on Saturday night but Sunday was determined to finished the album. My pictures are crap but the actual photos in the layouts aren’t dark. Taking pictures of pages in page protectors is a bad idea. I also posted a 12 by 12 of me and my friends from the crop we went to. I’m afraid I’m done for November. I’m at home in bed today after sleeping for 13 hours last night 3:45 pm until 4:45 am and I’ve already had a nap!

4 super simple notecards - just grabbed some scraps, embossed them and turned them into notecards. I'll probably do some more with different colour scraps.

Looking forward to looking to your pages in the Gallery, KelleeM . Hope you are feeling better. I completed a two pager this morning. Need to go get some other stuff done, so will add up my points later, but decided to share it now. My photo of these pages is crap b/c it is so dark and dreary here this morning. The flash automatically flashed, and the colours are all washed out in this photo, though not in the pages IRL. I wrote the title on the far left with copper Nuvo's, but it barely shows up here... Oh Boy! by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Points: Two pages created and shared: (4). #6 stamped date (1). #8 buttons and twine (2). #11 metal clips (2). #13 rectangular photos (2). #14 square pages (2). #18 one photo on page two (1). #19 two pages 5+ photos (1). #20 wrote the title in Nuvo's (1). #27 current (2). #31 cirlcles (2). #32 torn edges (1). #45 grid on page one (1). #50 circle punches (1). #55 popped up some of the circles (1). #59 outdoor photos (2). #63 border punch (1). I just went back to page 4 where I last commented and craftykitten was there posting LOs I am so worried about her and hope she gets home real soon So yeah, I'm starting way back on page 4. I will be commenting on LOs that you (if you're anything like me) don't even remember doing! AussieMeg, I love the Halloween 2010 LO, the ric-rac with stitching is fab and those finger & ghost treats look fabulous! Your circle LO is stunning, gorgeous photos and I love all the circles, so cool! grammadee, I can't believe you've already finished your Disney album, you're amazing! Seriously, I never finish anything and it seems to me like you were just at Disney like 5 minutes ago and you've already done the album! Love that fringing on The Animal Kingdom, way to go (I am embarrassed, I still haven't used those friggen scissors I bought and posted the challenge 3 times!), I love the big animal safari circle too. Your cover page is perfect, that's an amazing photo and I love the different colours of clothes, such a cool idea! I love the sun on your '5' pickup truck card, it looks fabulous and the stars on the hip card are lush! boymom5 I can't look closer at your LOs cause Flickr won't let me but they look fab! Some are not showing up for me on the thread for some reason, maybe a glitch in the matrix right now? I can't believe you get time to do anything with 5 young boys, you're amazing! The rainbow with the hearts is fantastic, I adore that idea, so lush! Love the dinosaurs on RAWR, so cute! DawnMcD your cards are simply stunning! I love the gnome too and your colouring looks fabulous! I would be in awe if I opened an envelope and fund one of those inside, it would take pride of place on the Christmas card hanger for sure! nylene your cards look amazing with the 3 candles on there, fantastic work and way to go on all the points! breetheflea I love Nerdy Little Christmas, fantastic title and I love the design, it's perfect I love that you've documented that cute snow poem, very cool! chrissy321 I love 'Tis the Season' the little clusters of washi tape are amazing with the stars, so cool! 'Love You' is awesome, I love the stamping of the dates all over, that's a cool idea and the layers of papers under the photos is super lush! Right, I'm just down page 5 and I've run out of time. I will be back later (in about 16 days knowing me).

Just under the wire, I finished my December birthday cards. These need to get into the mail pretty quick, especially since two of them need to be mailed with parcels. This first card is for my son in law who loves to ski. My dd is working on her doctorate and is always reading, and their son is always on the go, so I liked that these 3 snowman stickers kind of represented their little family. This is a terrible photo, but it is dark and gloomy and the glitter on the card reflects back at the camera, but here it is: snowman bd by Gramma Dee, on Flickr This second card is for my dgs who will be 5 in December. He loves robots and transformers. I used the Simple Stories "Little Dude" line for this. I picked up this collection at the LSS crop in October, but have not used it much yet. Thinkin' it will get a workout as I scrap my little guys. robot bd by Gramma Dee, on Flickr This last one is for my brother who will be turning 70. The card is a shameless lift THIS one I found on Pinterest. Had fun with this one. Dh asked me how I was going to mail it, but I can tuck it into his Christmas parcel, well packed with tissue paper so that it arrives (hopefully) unscathed. holy crap! by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Points: three cards created and shared (6). #11 brads (1). #13 rectangular cards (3). #17 Happy birthday (3). #23 inspired by Pinterest (1). #26 gold (1). #33 specialty paper (1). #50 punch (1). #53 scraps (1). #55 dimensional (2). #57 triangle (1). #58 word up (2). #74 kits (1). Here are my DT LOs now that I can share them. The blog post is here if anyone wants to read my waffling! This Nuvo border was a labour of love and I reckon I should have got 200 bonus points for it, not just 5! It took me a while to get right. This LO makes me laugh, I was so freaking miserable! I struggled with this one until I put the papers on a black background and then it worked! This one wasn't my favourite but a messy grid is always a quick and easy design. I also have to set a challenge on the shops FB group and I did a sketch challenge, here's my LO (which I won't be sharing on the group till later today), I haven't even done the points for this one yet. 17 for this one, 1 for a LO, 1 for sharing, #13, #14, #20, #21, #22, #27, #34 (2), #45, #51, #54, #55, #58, #61, #65.

justjac I commented on a few of your projects in the gallery already, but wow girl, you have been a busy little beaver this month! Your crafty projects are all fantastic! I think my favorites are the silver wreath and the wave color pour, but everything is beautiful kiwigirl your DT LOs are all fantastic as usual-and I’ll definitely be reading your blog post! Be the rainbow is just stunning. That nuvo border-I can’t even imagine!! But I’m totally jealous you have nuvos to match all those colors I love the mixed fonts, the banner and clouds, the awesome watercolor behind the clouds paper, all the cute little artsy bits and the great photo! On this day sucked, I had to chuckle too, what a face!! The fonts you chose are perfect, I love the black journaling strips, the mixed media is awesome and I totally love the lemon!! One of a kind is lovely, nice and simple with the strips of paper and then you amped it up with the fantastic nuvo border and stacked phrase stickers, the awesome title, that cute little banner above the photo and the stitching! I really love your messy grid!! The title with the phrases below is perfect with that photo and even with all the color/pattern going on, the page doesn’t feel cluttered or OTT. Great job!! I really love the cut stick create title (might have to steal that!); great way to use all the crafty bits in the whimsical collection! The sketch looks like a good one! msliz I love your tropical Christmas tree!! The painted leaves are gorgeous and I really like the pretty star on top, plus the nuvo border is awesome! Very creative!! I’ll leave comments for everyone else in the gallery
