Good morning lovelies! I am off work today (in lieu of working the upcoming weekend - I am trying not to get psychologically mired in the fact that I have 7 days straight of work coming at me...) but got up "early" to post challenges, chat and create!
Early for me is anything before 7:30AM. I am NOT A MORNING PERSON! Coffee helps. Anyone else not good in the morning?

I am useless in the morning kitbop ! I don't want to talk to anyone and definitely need 2 cups of coffee. Luckily I don't work anymore so I don't need to deal with driving to work and being nice to people! I have had to turn into a morning person in the last couple of years though, my cat got diabetes so I had to start getting up early to jab and feed him so I could do it 12 hours apart at reasonable times. It was a bit of a disaster in the beginning, I was getting up and jabbing him like a zombie and making all sorts of mistakes but we've got it down to a fine art between us now. He's used to the stab before the food morning and night! And I have gone from a get up at 12 and go to bed at 3 type to a get up at 7 and bed at 9 person!

Good Morning and Happy November! This year sure is flying by! kitbop - I am not a fan of mornings either but I am better than I used to be. Good luck with 7 work days, this week I am struggling with just 5.

kiwigirl - my cat was the reason I improved as a morning person. Partly because she was very much a morning cat but she also needed meds every 8 hours - so I would it worked out to roughly be 7am, 3pm and 10pm.

I've turned into a morning person (or at least the waking up early part) in the past year or so. I like being up when the house is quiet... do not talk to me until I've had my coffee though!

I just browsed through the November challenges...pretty much every one "spoke" to me. I can't wait to get home and dig in!

I can be a morning person if I'm the only one awake and can enjoy the quiet. But I'm definitely not a Hey let's go morning person lol. Had a bit of stressful start to my day with one of my boys. Still getting things sorted, but oddly enough it has me wanting to close myself away and scrap. Which is not going to happen until at least sometime tomorrow. most every challenge was something I want to try too christinec68!

Happy Friday/Weekend Everyone!!
Does anyone have scrappy plans?
Last night, I organized all my recent pictures and will print a bunch tonight so I can get started making pages. My pink paislee pre-order came in this week so I even have some new supplies to work with.
Tomorrow, we're going to see the movie Hunter Killer tomorrow then grab a late lunch afterwards. Then some regular house stuff. All in all it should be a good one!

I don't have weekend plans because I work, but will likely find some quiet time in the scrappy zone after work. Good for you for the photo/print work! I'm behind back to January... and I have to make a 2019 calendar for my MIL for Christmas (it's an annual gift. She has threatened to disown us if I stop making it, so I think she likes them) which means I have to get photos read for it. I hate the photo gathering/editing process!

kitbop and christinec68 I did calendars this year through a photo printing service and that was bad enough! Why is it so difficult to choose photos? And do you put them in the same month next year that they were taken this year? So many questions! (They have turned out nice though and because I did them early I got them half price). I have been working on my 2016 PL, and then I got some photos printed from the last month so I'm going to try and work on those this weekend. I've been thinking about my Christmas album too...not sure if I'm going to do a separate Christmas journal and maybe JYC? Or just keep it in my main album. Hmmmmm, decisions, decisions!

Morning girls! How is everyone this weekend? I am hoping to go golfing today but it is a bit grey and chilly looking outside so it might not be a pleasant walk today!
I got one LO done already this month and I am working on a second so this month is starting better than last month! Anyone else getting scrappy today?

Hi kiwigirl! It's a beautiful morning here. I've been doing some crochet (and claiming points for it dont worry) and hopefully going to go shopping in a bit. Scrapping will have to wait for a while I think! Hope everyone has a good day.

Morning! I hate the pitch-black in the morning here currently. DS heads off to work at 6:30, and that's when I normally get up. Well, today I got up but when I checked my ipad it said 4:30am... and I called to him to double check the time because it really *felt* like 4:30am. Turns out, I had forgotten that I turned back my ipad clock last night (I was playing a game before bed and was cheating a bonus...). Thank goodness he woke me up or I'm pretty sure I'd sleep through my own work shift!!! Tonight the clocks go back an hour, so that will brighten my mornings up a slight bit, but I do miss the sunny summer mornings. I got my 1 sketch layout done this month so far, and hope to be scrapping or christmas card making lots. Man, what a LOT of challenges - a record!, and so many of them are right up my alley too. I'm feeling inspired to go get me some big points

It's really dark here this morning too. I don't think our time change is until next weekend though. I had to look at the time twice it was still so dark lol. I have carpet cleaning and basic cleaning on the list for this weekend. But I will be scrapping this evening and again tomorrow afternoon and evening. I can't believe all the challenges! There were several I was hoping would be back and they are so I'm excited to try and get some points this month!

I'm up and scrapping this morning too. I figure I'll keep at it until the house wakes up. I just have some fussy cutting and gluing to do for my cards, so I'm going to try to find a video to watch.
Happy scrapping everyone!

Good Morning! 😊 I am hoping to scrapbook and catch up on some of shows today. plus some cleaning and organizing in my scrapbook room which seems to never get finished. I have a very lazy day planned here after a super duper busy week at work and home last week, and babysitting twice yesterday for my grandchildren (which I love, but oh so tired!). I also plan on taking a nap today and staying in my pjs all day. 😉 I hope you all have a wonderful day!!

Is that you with your daughter gramma ? Lovely to 'see' you if it is and man, you guys look similar! well my day has just gone! I went to the supermarket this morning and then another cheapo shop for dishwasher tabs, fabric softner and washing powder which I got all super cheap and was happy about that! Then golfing and walking for 2.5 hours.... I came home and ordered thermal longjohns, earmuffs and a warm hat if that tells you anything about how that went *brrrrrr*. It's so windy up on the golf course cause it's on top of a hill and the wind is ferocious. It's weird cause we're up the top of one of the other hills but we must be much more sheltered cause it's not windy here! So my scrapping today has been non-existent! Maybe after dinner I will get something done? I do have a LO on the go on my desk

YUMMMM gramma - what type of apples were you using? We have been buying honeycrisps at market the past 2 months...it's about $.50/lb if you buy the bushel, and while they aren't useful for cooking, they sure are yummy eating! DH got what will probably be our last bushel today.

Today was half fun and half productive. The house is all clean the DH and I went to the movies and had an early dinner. I hope to at least start a page before bed. There’s so many amazing challenges, it’s crazy.

Sounds like a great day christinec68! I did not get anything done yesterday so today I hope to get some scrapping time! I need to get on the exercise bike for a bit and then I hopefully will scrap. So many challenges that need doing and I definitely need to do the 45 points for a LO challenge!

It feels like I got the extra hour in the day lol. gramma that applesauce looks good! And a great pic of you and your daughter!
