I think I like the simple stories lines better and the price point too. Holy crap! I went to the site to check out the stamp more (I'd only seen the sneak and didn't realize it released today) and MAN! $24 for a stamp and it's mostly that scripty stuff. Their acrylic albums don't look too shabby, but I'm not a 4x6 album person at all. :x First off, I LOVE your new photo! Second, yeah the prices are super high I think, but I did buy the acetate and the stamp set. I had more in my cart, but deleted everything but those too. I don’t love that font either, but I do love those Mickey heads! I decided to take the hit and support Elle’s because even though I think it is expensive for the stamp, I like a lot of the pieces and I like her business and want to support her.

I’m thinking of making a TN for each kid and myself. But I can’t decide if I want to buy the premade SS notebooks or make my own! And then I found the album with kit included! I’m trying to not buy anything right away because I think I’m too excited for the trip to think clearly!

I got the 6x6, journaling tags, stickers, and the stamp. I spent a while debating because it is a pricey set even though it's 6x8. I know I'll never use those Mickey heads, but the castle and some of the words I know I'll use on my current album and summer album.
I would have preferred 2 4x6 sets. 1 with text and 1 with icons/images.

I actually tried to go back to my old one after I saw it, but it didn't work, so it's there and done. I guess I should've said "$24 for me is a little high when I don't love all the sentiments" because I'm pretty sure I used to pay $24 for a stamp set back from PTI? The acetate shapes were cute, but I wish there was a Mickey head in there! I'm being way too picky, I think, but that's in part because I know KP has one coming and EEC. lol.. what's the opposite of "beggars can't be choosers" in this scenario?

Isn’t $24ish the going rate for 6x8 stamps? I thought KP’s were that much and Kerri Bradford’s.
I, personally, love Elle’s Studio. The customer service is great and it fits my aesthetic. I got the stamp set, the puffy stickers, the word phrases, and the journal card kit for good measure. The kit was what I thought was expensive, but for me, it is very usable. Disney is my next project.

I love the stamp though, and I love Elle’s Studio so I am happy to support her company. I know I could make the Mickey heads with circle stamps or punches, but they never look quite right, I am super excited to get that stamp alone and it will get a lot of use! Which kit?

I have less hesistion with smaller sets. Most stamps under $20 I don't think much about as I do reach for them, but this is cheaper than 2 4x6 sets and prob has the same if not more than would be on different sets. Her CS is amazing and I've never had a bad product. So I'm very happy to support her.

Disney is my next project. Yes, it is the going rate. It's actually not too bad when you think that a 4x6 is $15-$16 most places (more at certain shops...I've seen regular prices on 4x6's for as much as $17.50). Double that for what you'd think a 6x8 stamp set would run and $24 is a good bit less than you'd pay for 2 4x6 stamps anywhere. I think it's hard to swallow, though, because it is A LOT for one product even if it's a larger than normal sized item.
I want the stamp, but will not pay shipping on it being that I'm a subscriber. I will have to wait for a restock. I'm almost tempted to use my NSD gift code on it, but there isn't $50 in the shop that I want right this minute. If I bought the Disney-esque stuff that I'm interested in, I'd be plenty short of $50.

Is anyone over at BPC classes taking Freckle Pickle’s new Magical Memories Mini class? TC is fawning over it. I am on the 3rd lesson and I haven’t seen anything Earth shattering yet. I am surprised, because I usually really like Lisa’s stuff.

I guess if I was able to go that much and not print the photos it might? For me, as I've stated a few times, the magic and fun start at the planning and end when the album is finished. I realize not everyone works that way, but I can't imagine going that often and not doing the album right away. That's me and I get that it's not possible for everyone.

Our magic bands and my say cheese order have shipped! My family doesn’t know about the magic bands. I’m excited for that little surprise! I decided to order the day cheese album kit, and then the full page kit with washi and I’m going to cover a blank album in washi. So each kid gets a 6x8 album. Then I got the travelers notebook for my stories. 34 more days! Today my daughter is marching in the magic kingdom parade with her high school band. So excited for her. <3

I just signed up for my daughter and I to go to Disney with her dance studio. It’s not until the fall of 2020, but I’m SO excited.
Last 2 family trips I did FULL 12x12 albums for each trip. This is a shorter trip and just the 2 of us so I want to try 6x8 album.
I used Say Cheese 1 and 2 exclusively for those albums. I loved the simplicity but I was SO sick of the word magic by the end, lol. Do the newer releases coordinate with the older, colors and style? I’m not loving the kids all over #4, but would buy some papers. 16 months isn’t too early to start buying supplies right?

From March 2018-March 2019 I had a Universal Studios pass so we went a lot! This year I traded it in for a SeaWorld pass and I’m enjoying going to a new park, but I’ll probably switch back to Universal next year. We live about 80 minutes from the major theme parks in Orlando. I just posted this page to my Instagram account but I wanted to posted it here, too. If you visit Universal the Photoplay Wizard World Collection is a must have! So many great elements and I found that the collection matches well with the photos I’ve taken.

Heading over to Magic Kingdom for the day today from opening to fireworks. We had a photo pass last year so got tons of character and ride photos from Disney. Hoping to take some pics today of the smaller experiences the little guys will be having. Dgs (aged 5) already confirmed that we could get Mickey shaped ice cream on a stick AND chocolate mint ice cream in a bowl with cookie ears. I think today will be at LEAST a two ice cream day!
Any other photos I should be shooting for?

Don't forget to shoot a video or two, too.

Anyone book a 2020 trip? I was able to finalize our trip details last week!!! The basic high-speed train tickets of France (Ouigo - yep, that's an English pun detected by the French "we go") are only open for reservations until December 14 2019 at the mo' so no 2020 trips planned just yet. We did just order a couple more trips for the rest of the year so we'll be going be four times to Disneyland Paris between September and mid-December this year. Once a month! dawnnikol Did you get all the restaurants you wanted? Sharing some Disneyland Paris shows happening right now during our summer season dedicated to the Lion King & Jungle Book for all of you far away. Jungle Book Jive which is a parade streaming in from Fantasyland to Central Plaza with drummers flown in from Bangladesh to help drum up people to come along to see the show: The Rhythm of the Pride Lands (Lion King) show in our brand new Frontierland Theatre:

I wanted the 8am slot, but had to settle for 9:35, I still have high hopes for modifying and stealing up a spot should someone cancel their plans as it gets closer. I also scored a reservation for Oga's Cantina, not because I am a big Star Wars fan but because others in my party are and the drinks look fun regardless. I also booked a Droid building time slot for the kids before the drinks, so that could potentially work out really nicely for us to get some Droids and then get some drinks and then bail on Star Wars.

I follow Undercover Tourist on IG and they had a preview yesterday and they posted some in their stories. I'm bummed about the way FP are set up for Hollywood Studios atm, but I'm sure it'll work out just fine.

I expect your IG to be filling up to entertain me, ma'am! Expect some Disney photos soon... I'm going to try and snag one of the Lion King milkshakes at Victoria's on Central Plaza just for the IG pic (and, obviously, vanilla-praline goodness). I got an ADR for Akershus, although a little later than I wanted. I wanted the 8am slot, but had to settle for 9:35, I still have high hopes for modifying and stealing up a spot should someone cancel their plans as it gets closer. That's the true Disney park spirit! Crossing my fingers for your "perfect" slot. Making reservations at Disney restaurants is a game of patience and persistence... Getting Elsa-trying-to-approach-the-waves-in-the-new-Frozen-trailer vibes! Anybody seen the popcorn buckets/steins for this Halloween season? As predicted, the poison apple stein is Ursula purple! There's a super cute purple cauldron as well. Our summer season extends until late September so these goodies won't hit Disneyland Paris until October but I really want to take a purple poison apple stein home this year...
