msliz ... Will you be documenting a recent Disney trip during the crop?
Oh, no, they're old. On the first trip, I was pregnant with my (now) 15yo, and her sisters were just 4yo. They were so freaking cute! 2002 and 2008, I think. But I never scrapped them, so I'm going to see what I can do with them. About time, don't you think? This Saturday's crop will be mostly just about sorting through prints and files, and trying to plan my pages. I want to be ready to start scrapping them during our online crop. LisaDV , I haven't even looked through her Quebec photos yet, but the ones she sent over the phone were garbage (sigh). Lots of gray landscape pics from a bus window. I think it was just too cold for her to try to get her phone out when they were doing the fun stuff. There were a few taken by the tour guide at least, so I'll still be able to put together a couple of pages even if she doesn't have anything good to give me. I had a couple of fun hours shopping at *two* LSSs today. One of them was new to me, 2+ hours away, but I'd never been there before and have wanted to see it for some time. It was a lot smaller than I'd hoped, but I still managed to buy a bunch of papers. And the other was the LSS I love that's a little over an hour from me, and I picked up a bit from them too. I'm going to go play with my new papers for a little while before I go to bed. Sweet scrappy dreams for me!

sleepingbooty - we turned the heat off because it became a/c weather here - mid 80s (28C) - but then we had a few days earlier this week when it dropped into the 20s (-3C) overnight and 50 (10C) as a high. And we'll be back in the 80s (27-28C) this coming week. Crazy weather. LisaDV - sorry to hear everyone was sick - glad you're on the mend. Oh no about the Crop - hopefully you can get scrapbooking alone time. msliz - I have an older Disney trip to scrap still too (2009). Poor DD12 hasn't been back since - and we even LIVE in Florida. Sorry about the Quebec pictures - that's always disappointing when they're not good. Heading to Orlando tonight to pick up DD18 from college - her Spring Break - I think the plan is to drive down after DD12 is home from school and DH is off work so we'll get a hotel overnight and drive back tomorrow - I'm sure we'll stop at Disney Springs for the Lego store and Fish & Chips at Clarkes before heading home.

I am hoping to get some scrapping done this weekend. DH is busy because he has a display table at the local toy and collectible show. He buys kits for realistic scale models of giant cranes. This show is one of the only times he actually builds them because even the models can be six feet tall and our house is too small for them to stay assembled for any length of time.
Linda and sleepingbooty I am jealous of your weather. Up here in Canada where grammadee and I live, it's warmed up to -12C (10F) and it's snowing. People don't put out their annual flowers until the third week in May (just to be safe).
We went out to supper with DH's family on Tuesday, the day before my MIL's birthday. She was very pleased with her card and gift.
LisaDV I hope you have recovered. This was a pretty typical cold for me, except luckily it never settled in my chest. Just tiredness, sneezing, some congestion, some coughing. It's still hanging around, but I don't need to medicate it anymore. I got back to the treadmill yesterday after two weeks of no exercise. Then I tried hot yoga this morning. I felt more limber afterwards, but also limp! I sweated so much.
msliz I believe it is never too late to scrap cute photos. I have some from a cousin's wedding in 2010. They are already divorced, but the photos of my immediate family are great. My nieces were 1 and 3 and so cute! I'm going to scrap us even if I don't scrap the actual wedding.
nylene good luck with all your driving. I have to drive for 30 minutes to work, but I'm not really a driver by nature. I like to let DH drive when we go places together. How's your DH handling being a passenger?
Have a good weekend everyone.

Happy Friday! Wishing you all a good weekend. I have been working on new art on my big canvas. I can't wait to see how it will turn out. I went to my craft group last night. They were working on crochet projects. I don't have a lot of experience with this so it was fun but hard to learn. I hope to practice some this week so I can join in the fun next week.
sleepingbooty linda - WELCOME! Glad to have you here and look forward to seeing you more.
I gotta catch up on all you all are doing and scrappin. Be back soon!

msliz, way to go supporting the lss! I'm glad the tour guide at least got some good photos for you. Sometimes it's hard to get shots in the moment. Enjoy your crop tomorrow. Linda, I hope you have a safe drive and enjoy your overnight outing. I'm sure you will be happy to have dd home for the week. justjac, your dh is so interesting! and what great scrapbook material too. Here in Michigan we are similar to you in the garden department, usually don't put are gardens out until the last weekend of May. kellyr21, oh, I'm so excited that you've started a big canvas. I think we here are just as excited to see the end result. Did the craft group teach you to crochet? Are they all working on the same type of project? like all making socks? Good luck with the practicing. I felt good today! Yay! I still have the cough and congestion, but I actually felt like a human being. DS felt better today too. Now to just get dd over the hump. Oooh, I just remembered I have to post the sketch for tomorrow. I'm off to scrapbook. Gotta love that.

Just a quick check in. Birthday party today. Hockey wind ups tomorrow. Then the flight home on Monday. Still out in BC, but sadly, winter followed me. The several inches of snow that fell the night I arrived have finally mostly melted. But no blooms here yet. Hope everyone is doing well. Glad you are feeling better, LisaDV. How is your dd? Good to see Pokeys taking on the challenges. I saw creations by nylene, LisaDV and justjac. And Linda has been blasting it out of the park. Did I miss anyone? Have fun at your crop, this weekend, msliz. How are plans going for the on line crop next weekend, sleepingbooty? Need any help?

Linda, I am jealous of your proximity to Disney. Have a great trip and enjoy having DD home for the Break. Ours isn't until the end of March. You are scrapping up a storm this month. Congrats. LisaDV, I'm glad you and DS are feeling better. I hope your DD gets well soon. I will be glad when Spring comes and maybe those cold germs won't be so prevalent. grammadee, I'm sorry you had snow follow you. I hope the rest of your visit goes well and that you have a pleasant flight home. I don't know how you keep going. How's the knee handling the traveling? justjac, it's fun to see your layouts. You have so many fun and interesting ideas to scrap. I love that!! kellyr21, your big canvas sounds interesting. I look forward to seeing the finished result. I'm glad you tried crocheting with the group. It just takes practice and it will get faster. What are you crocheting? I hope to finish a baby blanket for our first Great-Grandchild due in a month. My hands are so arthritic that I can only do a little at a time. sleepingbooty, I am loving your layouts. Always so artistic. They make me wish I could read French. msliz, your trip to the LSS sounds like fun. We just have Big Box stores here now, which is a real change from when there was a LSS in every little town. What fun things did you find? woodysbetty, thinking about you and your warm weather and home building. Hope things are going well. @elaynef, I love your vintage pages. You are inspiring me. I pulled out some old photos that have my brother in them. I need to scrap them. I really miss him. joyfulnana, good luck finishing your pages during the Big Crop. I didn't sign up because I didn't want the pressure. I know I will enjoy seeing what all you croppers create. justlisa7, how are things going for you? Hope you are getting some scrappy time. maribeth, I am counting the days. I have learned to use my phone GPS and your hotel is in the memory. It will be fun to meet in person. I have been cutting card pieces to teach a new technique at card club next week. It's for an accordion pop up card. I just finished the last cuts when my friend let me know that our newest member really wants to teach this month. I will just hold on to them for next month. I will take a photo of the two I made as prototypes. It's fiddly, but fun. I think the members will enjoy making them. Now I can get back to page scrapping.

Yes sleepingbooty you need to share! You too linda! It's warmer here - it was in the 50's but raining and windy and now it's cold again LisaDV Yay that everyone is feeling better! I would be so bummed at not getting the three days to myself. I'm an introvert and need my solitude or I get cranky. Yay for pages done! And new kits!! Are you still going to be able to participate next weekend? I'm working on speeding up my process as well. Sketches help a lot and choosing paper is the bane of my scrappy existence , so I tend to buy collection packs and keep them together to cut down the time spent choosing. I have seen a lot people quoting Shimelle and saying something similar to just use the first thing that works. I need to take that to heart lol. msliz hope you are having fun at your crop! I'm really looking forward to ours next weekend. kellyr21 I hope you will post pics of the canvas! I knit and crochet, but prefer knitting. I have pretty much set all my other crafts aside in favor of paper lol. nylene I understand what you mean about the pressure. I don't feel pressure about the crop, but I used to feel a lot about the challenges. It took me a couple of months to not worry about what I didn't get done or the points I didn't earn. I love seeing what everyone does. I'm hoarding my pages in progress to get the extra points though lol. And OMG that Alex is such a precious one! Love the pages you do about the personalities of your grands! grammadee sorry winter followed you. We haven't seen a green leaf or bloom here either. I bet you will some great hockey photos. And I love the bingo challenge! What a different twist! Well, I am still 2 pages behind on the sharing thread, but I have to get my sketch sample done this weekend so it will probably be tomorrow evening before I get back to comment, and it will probably be 6 pages by then. I can't believe how much everyone is creating this month! Waving hi to everyone! Hope you are having a great weekend!!

justjac - those giant cranes sound neat but BIG! Hope you find some scrappy time! thanks for the welcome kellyr21LisaDV - glad you're on the mend! grammadee - sounds like a busy weekend with lots of photo ops! Safe travels home nylene - your accordian card sounds fun - hope to get a sneak peak! Hi joyfulnanaWe're home - hit traffic part way down that made the 3-hr drive closer to 4-hr but we picked up DD18 and all went out to IHOP for a very late dinner and then to the hotel. Today we went to Disney Springs for fish and chips and gelato and so DH and DD12 could go to the Lego Shop. Already enjoying having DD18 home but wish the girls were getting along a bit better. DD12 is just so excited to have her home that she's clingy and irritating and then DD18 snaps at her and ...ugh. Not sure I have energy to scrap but I got Nuvos and photos in the mail so hopefully tomorrow if not tonight...

msliz , your trip to the LSS sounds like fun. We just have Big Box stores here now, which is a real change from when there was a LSS in every little town. What fun things did you find? Just paper, but what was funny was that, in the smaller store, I wasn't seeing much that I liked right away, so I started flipping all of the papers over to check out the B-sides. And I was pretty methodical about checking though all of them because I wanted to buy *something* but I guess I left quite the impression on the shopkeeper. She said "it looked like you were on some kind of a mission!" Well, my crop was today, and I was able to sort through all of my 2008 trip, and while I still have to print a few more, I managed to get a bunch of them matted. It doesn't sound like much, but I'm feeling accomplished. It was a lot. I'm hoping I can spend a little bit of time scrapping tomorrow too. Hope you're all enjoying your weekend!

On the first trip, I was pregnant with my (now) 15yo, and her sisters were just 4yo. They were so freaking cute! 2002 and 2008, I think. But I never scrapped them, so I'm going to see what I can do with them. About time, don't you think? Eh, I mean... It's only been 17 years for that first trip! Sounds like you're going to have a Disney hangover when you're done but they are always such fun photos to scrap.
we turned the heat off because it became a/c weather here - mid 80s (28C) - but then we had a few days earlier this week when it dropped into the 20s (-3C) overnight and 50 (10C) as a high. And we'll be back in the 80s (27-28C) this coming week. Crazy weather. Oh my, that's a major weather rollercoaster! I was complaining about being back down to 18-19°C (65°F) during the day and 10°C (50°F) at the coldest point of the night but I really shouldn't... "Winter coat? Sundress? What's the weather again today?"
Linda and sleepingbooty I am jealous of your weather. Up here in Canada where grammadee and I live, it's warmed up to -12C (10F) and it's snowing MINUS TWELVE MEANS WARMING UP? AAAAH... I think the coldest night temperatures we had over here this winter were 0 to 1°C. And that was for a handful of nights only. I don't know how you and grammadee do it! I'd be huddled by the fire under a mountain of duvets and blankets, asking Santa to bring me a herd of alpacas for Christmas. How are plans going for the on line crop next weekend, sleepingbooty? Need any help? Plans? What plans? I may be planning on erm... improvising? Should I do something special? Happy to take any advice or experience you may have! I thought about having three different focuses (1/day) to help people get unstuck and get going but beyond that, I haven't really got a game plan or strategy to be honest. I've got a list with some music videos and did map out the time zones of the participating Peas so that I can try to keep an eye out for when activity peaks may happen but that's about it so far.
I am loving your layouts. Always so artistic. They make me wish I could read French. Aww, you're too kind (and making me blush)! I'm a bit wordy with my journaling but happy to post a translation if you're interested.
Me, a life-time lover of warmer weather:

Hi Nylene and Pokey Friends! I swear that I don't know how 10 days have already flown by in March! We had a bunch of hale and some snow yesterday, I don't think winter is ever going away this year (I'm in Indiana). I went to a scrappy retreat last weekend, which was fun. I got about 25 pages done in 2 1/2 days, I'm pretty slow at scrapping, but took lots of breaks to do fun things. We got massages, went out for dinner, etc. I lost my scrap room when we moved last year, so now I mostly only scrap at retreats, which are just a few times a year, but I still enjoy it. I have been playing a bit with a journal this year for my OLW project, but I'm not the best at keeping up on that, but I keep plugging away at it. We took our youngest Griffin (15) to go see the Fighting with my Family movie yesterday. It was a cute show, although some of the language was a little dicey. We also went to a Trivia night fund raiser on Friday night and I just got back from playing bridge with the neighbors, so it's been a fun, but busy weekend. Well, I just wanted to drop by to say "hi!". The kids are currently asking if I forgot to fix dinner...so I guess that's my cue to get up and do it. Hope you all have a wonderful evening! Tina

shinyhappytina -sounds like a fun and productive retreat! I miss scrapbooking with people - our LSSs closed years ago and my scrapbook buddy moved away so I don't know any IRL scrapbooker anymore. Busy day here too - Everyone except me slept in so we missed our usual Mass and had to go to the late (Spanish) Mass at 1230 instead. Then out to brunch. Dropped the kids home and did errands and shopping - DH bought some blueberry bushes so we had to plant those. I looked at the clock and it was 715 so pulled together dinner in a hurry. The day just went by so quickly and I didn't tackle hardly anything on my to-do list - just sewed two more ornaments for our Lenten Jesus Tree (each ornament is tied to a scripture reading and through the 40 days of Lent, they cover most of the Gospel of Matthew and tell of Jesus life from birth to Resurection. I've only made the first 19 ornaments so I'm playing catch-up a bit...they are felt and hand-sewn...I almost never hand-sew.

Time flies to fast! I have been busy and just don't have time to sit down and have fun on the computer. I have been playing chauffeur since January 10th. DH got rear-ended that evening and he had a rental for a week but the insurance company totaled his car. He had to give it back and we had to share a car. That was rough with me working nights and him working short erratic hours some days. He has had a car for about a week once again. It took him a while to find what he wanted because he wanted the same car which isn't made anymore. He is happy and so am I!😊 nylene My crop in January was fun and I enjoyed my time away. I started making a mini album that I still need to finish decorating. I plan to put pictures of my 2 kitties. Then I need to make one for Phoebe, my pug. To make my composition books, I used my ATG gun for adhering the paper to the book. Since making the mini album, I was using double sided tape and have wondered about using that with the composition books. Work has been super stressful lately. We have a new nurse manager and she is micromanaging a bit. Several people are leaving because of this. I get along with her fine and don't have the issues others are talking about. They also changed the way bed control calls the charge nurses when they want to place a bed. They don't take into consideration that I have a full team of patients which I have clashed with one of the ladies over this. Most of them understand and will let me finish with a patient but others won't. Ugh. I am ready for a little vacation from work! I have a short one in April to go scrapbooking for 4 days! I decided to upgrade my Cameo to the Cameo 3. I had the first Cameo but a friend got the new one and I was liking some of the upgrades. I saw it on sale the other day on woot.com and decided to grab it. It also came with lots of vinyl and other supplies to make it a good deal. I was hoping to get that out and play with it today but my allergies have gotten the best of me. I am at the coffee shop and they are about to close. I hope to be able to check in a little more this month.

Good morning, Pokeys. I am home. Have had a good sleep in my own bed. Funny thing about weather. When I was in Abbotsford, the daily temperatures were around 8C the last couple of days, but there was still a little snow lying around in shaded areas. Everyone was complaining about how cold it was and how spring would NEVER come. When I arrived in Edmonton, it was 7C, but most streets were still snow/slush covered, and yards and fields had FEET of snow on them. Everyone was practically dancing in the streets and saying as I left a shop, "Enjoy the weather!" Returned home to find your valentine had arrived, kellyr21. Love it. Enjoyed reading this morning how you created it. I have been saying I really want to try pour painting, and this is even more encouragement to give it a try... Thanks for sharing your pages here, @elaynef. Love the billboard page I think your kids will like it better now. LisaDV, I hope you are all feeling better. I am amazed you have been able to create while feeling ill and while having the kids sick as well. I would be MORE than frustrated about the change in plans for this next weekend. I was so jealous of you having the whole house to yourself to play! (((Hugs))) to you, LisaDV and woodysbetty. It must require HUGE amounts of patience to live between homes. I would send some patience to you, but as those who know me are well aware I have very little of that commodity myself. Looking forward to seeing your pages, joyfulnana. You are a saint, nylene. There should be a movie like Driving Miss Daisy, but it should be Driving Mr Steve. Looking forward to the upcoming on-line crop. Sounds like you have it well in hand, sleepingbooty. The only "help" I was offering was to sticky or move threads if you wanted/needed that. Hoping I can get some scrapping done this weekend. I came home with over 300 photos to sort through and decide which I will scrap. Hoping to do the sorting today so I can pick up anything I need for scrapping them when I am in town tomorrow to register justjac and me into an NSD weekend crop. I am sure with a whole ROOM full of supplies I don't need to actually buy anything tomorrow, but you never know...

grammadee , so nice that you have returned home to ALL your scrapbook supplies. I hope you have a productive jaunt into town tomorrow. Wish I could register with you and justjac . patin , we haven't heard from you lately. I am hoping that all is well with you and DH. Hugs to you. shinyhappytina , so nice to see you checking in. 25 pages in 2 1/2 days sounds wonderful to me. I know you are busy with job and family, but I'm sure the break was great. I just pulled out some papers that I remember buying at Scrapfest. I think Cindy talked me into them. I decided it was time to use them. I really miss her. Drop in when you can. We would love to see some of those pages! knutschen , I am sorry about your DH's accident. I do understand the chauffeuring. How nice that he found the car he wanted. How are your pets doing? I'm sure your kittens have really grown. It's stressfull working with new people, especially if they are your supervisors. I hope things settle down and you are all happier at work. A little vacation in April may lift your spirits. It's so nice to see you checking in here. Drop in when you can. I hope you all have a scrappy week. I have 3 pages in progress, but I seem to be stuck. I think I will make some cards to send to @elaynef today. I have a few done, but want to add to it. Happy Tuesday! It is sunny today and I plan to get out there and enjoy. I did get some warmer clothes over the last month and just like I thought is warming up some. I didn't want to buy to much and then it gets hot and can't wear them til next year. But it does feel good to be prepared just in case it gets real cold again. I went to this "Vendorama" faire on Saturday. I enjoyed walking around seeing all the products. The one booth had nail polish strips. I hadn't heard of then ever. The lady showed me how they work and they were so cool. It is 3 layers of nail polish on this tape. It has no smell which I love. You press them on your nail and pull the tape off. Suppose to last a week or two. So I am gonna give it a try. Have you heard of these? Art is coming along. Will be working on it this week. The size of the canvas is 16x20. I worked on this size before and enjoyed it. nylene- You asked on my blog about the stencil I used on the poured paint art. I got a stencil and used white paint to get the images on my colored print. I just used a make up sponge and went over the stencil. Yeah, the craft group is crocheting now. So I am learning and practicing this week. One of the ladies was working on a blanket and we learning that particular pattern. (Well, they were doing the pattern and I was trying to learn but ended up doing a bunch of double stitch) LOL! The lady is making a blanket for her first great grand child coming this year. You two have a lot in common. Good seeing ya @happyshinytina and knutschen ! Waving hello to everyone and have a super day!

Well, sleepingbooty we are now having highs of 0-1C and I am busy telling myself it can't really be spring yet. We are likely to have a big snow storm or two yet. I could take part in the crop Friday night before we leave town Saturday morning, but on Fridays I'm often wiped out after a week of work. It is sad to miss out on double points for my team. Maybe I will do some digi on the drive. Or read my book for book club that I haven't started. I have done a little bit of crocheting kellyr21 (just dishcloths.) Have fun! nylene I can't wait to hear about your meetup with maribeth. grammadee and I had supper together with my DH at Dairy Queen after she registered us for our crop. Our store doesn't have online registration, so someone has to stand in line and physically register everyone in their group. grammadee thanks so much for doing this for our group. I am going to have three scrappy friends staying at our house the first weekend in May! knutschen I have a Cameo 2. Let us know what you think of the 3. shinyhappytina 25 pages is awesome. Do you share your layouts here or on Flickr? linda your ornaments sound wonderful.

Well, it is the middle of the month, and I have yet to complete a page... Well, I have two almost finished: just need to glue on the photos I printed today and add some sequins. And a third page is laid out on my counter and needs to be glued down. Hopefully I can share tomorrow. I am working with birthday celebrations and St Patrick's Day activities. So, needless to say, I have quite a variety of papers and scrap crap all over my scrap room! You are brave learning to crochet, kellyr21. Glad you have found a crafty group to meet up with. My mother knitted and embroidered and sewed all our clothes. I have a sewing machine tucked away in the back of my closet, but haven't taken it out in years. Enjoy your road trip this weekend, justjac. When are you driving to meet up with maribeth, nylene?

I've never had a chance to learn any of the yarn crafts - of course here in Florida, there's not a lot of call for crocheted and knitted things. A crafty group sounds fun! justjac - enjoy your weekend! Busy here - DD18 has been home on Spring break this week - she had no real plans but it's been nice spending time with her. Tomorrow she's going to dinner and the rodeo with friends and Sunday she's riding before we take her back to college. DD12 has been super busy - we had the Ed Fair at next year's school yesterday - she won a door prize to smash 'pie' (whipped cream in a foil pie pan really) in the face of the principal. Then today we pulled her from school for a Girl Scout field trip - run by CSX - she got to fly a drone and try out a train simulator and more - so fun! Tomorrow she has another GS field trip -this one to UF for a civil engineering event. Dh works in engineering and is a train buff so he's the chaperone for both and I got to stay home for a chance. Today I finished sewing her 1740s outfit for next weekend's Living History event (also GS).

Thought I would pop in and see how the pokey's are doing. @happyshinytina 25 pages is amazing! I probably don't get that many done in a year! lol linda I am really enjoying all the pages you've gotten done this weekend! I'm horribly behind on commenting this month. And how is this month half over all ready?! I wish time wouldn't go so fast! grammadee I'm glad you are home and scrapping again. I thought I had seen in one of the threads that you hadn't scrapped at all this month. knutschen I'm sorry to hear about your DH's accident. Sharing a car is hard! I'm glad he found something he liked. I have a micro manager too. Fortunately, like you I get along with her fine, but she does drive me nuts sometimes. justjac your May plans sound so fun! My mom and I go to visit my niece the first weekend in May every year to crop and shop. My niece lives near Scrapbook Generation and it's nice to shop in a real live LSS at least once a year. I'm really enjoying the crop this weekend and feel like I've neglected the challenges this month. Hoping to get caught up on commenting there soon. flikr was playing up and wouldn't let me comment earlier so hopefully tomorrow I can do that. nylene when is your meetup with maribeth ? I'm excited to hear all about it! Haha, just noticed grammadee asked the same thing lol. Rudy and I made some cookies today at his request. They are really just a lot of sugar and decorations on a bit of cookie dough lol. He used up pretty much every kind of sprinkle I had. Now he's asleep, and I have a rare quiet evening with him here so I will be scrapping in a bit. I had been concerned off and on about the economy lately, feeling like a downturn could be coming. And knowing how the recession of 2008 hit the RV industry first and hardest. One of the major RV manufacturers had a fire last week and the plant was burned completely to the ground, and someone back in Indiana posted a news story about some lay offs at the other major manufacturer on Friday. I didn't work in this industry in 2008, and the last 5 years or so it's made a huge comeback. I hope this isn't a foreshadowing of things to come. Keeping my fingers crossed this is just a blip. justlisa7 I saw your story about the boys sleeping outside this weekend in the crop thread, that's so fun! I wouldn't have lasted either! lol. Hope everyone is having a good weekend! ETA: I'm now a chatterbox

congratulations on being a chatterbox joyfulnana. I loved your cookies - reminds me of when my kids were smaller and loved sprinkles and coloured sugar...to excess. Prayers that the economy doesn't negatively impact you.

Happy Sunday, Pokeys! The sun is shining and snow is slowly melting here. Maybe spring will come! Hope everyone is okay. It was good to see so many of you scrapping over at the OnLine crop this weekend. I finished 5 double page spreads, but LisaDV created at least double that, and Linda has been a crafter on a mission! Here are a couple of my LO’s. Had fun playing with leprechauns and unicorns in honour of this St Paddy’s Day weekend. Part Unicorn by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Foot Art Happy by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

maribeth , I am counting the days. I have learned to use my phone GPS and your hotel is in the memory. It will be fun to meet in person. One more week and I will get to have lunch with nylene, I can not wait.

Thanks grammadee - my mojo is back which is awesome! I got two projects finished up/caught up so I'm excited about that. Hoping the crop motivation continues this week - DD12 is on Spring break and we have NO plans except her Girl Scouts tomorrow night until Friday (when we leave for the Living History event). Working on filling in the gaps in DS27's 2018 Navy album so I can (hopefully) call that done - found some pics today though so had to send to CVS to print. maribeth - sounds busy, busy - hope to 'see' you here in April Enjoy your meet-up with nylene - we'll want pics!

Good hearing from you, maribeth. So jealous of that lunch you and nylene will be enjoying. I know you will have a wonderful time! If we had a Pokey reunion, where would we meet? I think it would need to be somewhere in the middle if we drew a line from @elaynef to me & justjac and crossed it with a line from kellyr21 to msliz. Where would those lines cross and how far away would everyone be? As for April challenges, if you can, check in the last week of March so you can sign in for a team. Then the first few days of April we will all be laying down challenges (much like Calvinball, but you have only 3 days to submit them and then they are closed for the month). After that, you can take on as many challenges as you want, and if you are signed up for a team, each time you meet a challenge, it adds to points for your team. As a Calvinball vet, you will catch on fast! I mentioned a few Pokeys who were cropping this past weekend, but did not mention msliz who has been smokin' through her Disney album, justlisa7, with her gorgeous wedding pages, joyfulnana with a bunch of fun pages in addition to making cookies with her sweet dgs, and justjac who somehow managed to pack in a couple of double pagers in with a photography class and a road trip to a musical. I had decided that if dh went to town this morning for coffee, I would scrap a little while I had the house to myself, but my mind seems to be moving with the speed of what my grandmother called treacle this morning. Can't find what I was looking for. But I DID find something I had NOT been looking for that will work perfectly for my pages on the go when I get back to them. And I found an unused "had to have" Tim Holtz die and embossing folder for a butterfly. I am thinking I can turn that into something that will work for at least three challenges (never used, butterfly, embossing folder) when I get going again. I am off to do some much needed house cleaning. We are packing up some tubs for a family who lost their home to fire a couple of weeks ago, so I am combining that with some cupboard organization as well. So working with the absolute opposite side of my brain from scrapbooking. Have a wonderful week, Pokeys!
