I loved it. I think it is spot on, and a very powerful video. Not sure Biden is what America needs right now but I thought his announcement was the best so far! |

Really? "God Rest Their Soul!"  He doesn't even know what common phrases mean. "God rest their soul" describes someone who has died or is about to die. trump's statement could be taken a couple of different ways.

I thought the video was great.
I'm not sure he's what we need either, but I like him and if he's the nominee, he'll get me vote.
Of course, anyone (with the possible exception of Bernie) would get my vote over Trump. If it's Bernie, I think I wouldn't vote.
My vote doesn't count anyway because my state always goes red, and all electoral votes go to the person who gets the majority. We don't split them according to the popular vote which pisses me off!

I think Biden, Sanders, and Trump are too old to run. I really don't like how a lot of people give him a pass because it's "just Joe being Joe." He's way too touchy. He's been in politics for years. He should know better, but hasn't changed or given half assed apologies.
And yes, but Trump..... No, he's nowhere near the disgusting level of Trump. Still not okay.

I wish he hadn’t chosen to run. He is old DC, we need fresh young blood. Of course, if he is the nominee I will vote for him. I am looking for someone with new ideas to ignite the country.

This is Biden’s third or fourth time he has run for President. And in the past he has problems created by him which resulted in either being forced to leave the race or just bad showings.
Add to that he is too old.
His time has passed. He is the past. The last thing the Democrats need to do is elect their nominee for old times sakes.

I adore Joe Biden, however, he is 76, if I'm not mistaken. I won't vote for Bernie in part because of his age, but also because I don't agree with him on lots of things, not to mention the fact that he is not a Democrat, but is using the party to get what he wants. I would have to cross Biden off the list just based on the age he would be when entering and leaving office.
My top 2 remain Elizabeth Warren and Pete Buttigieg (in no particular order).
If I am not voting for someone it has nothing to do with race or gender, and whomever the Dem candidate is will get my vote. BUt I really, really do not want it to be Bernie

I personally really, really don't want the nominee to be Bernie. I don't understand why so many like him. My next least favorite (based on what I currently know) is Elizabeth Warren. I like Biden (although I wish he was younger), Buttegieg (probably spelled that wrong) and Kobluchar.

Right now polling is based primarily in name recognition. I think those polls will likely change substantially as other candidates get more name recognition. Buttigieg has already seen his polling numbers go up a lot as he gets more name recognition

While it hasn’t been how it has worked in the past, I would be happy with a ticket that has Biden on top and one of the “newcomers” as VP. A mix of old and new, young and old, and so on. I feel like Bernie and Warren in particular are quite polarizing, either you love them or hate them, and worry wether or not they could pull a bigger base than the deplorables. |
