I haven’t enjoyed the sneaks and thought it didn’t look cohesive. After watching the video, I really like it! I’m ready to change up my color scheme and teal is totally me. I’m excited to see the kits and albums! [br I like the volour scheme too. I love teal and think it is very Christmasy. I just think there is too much stuff, and I hate the bundles as usually i only want a couple of things from that set. I wish there was just ONE kit with everything you need and with a few of these items, for example, a couple of transparencies, a few shipping tags, etc.

Got through the video - I actually like the color scheme more than I thought I would. Here's products I am interested in (and may or not be purchasing, depending on the price).
3x8 journal cards - I like some of these, but I already have digis from last years Paislee Press Digi kit, so I will just print a couple on my own. Story Card Bundle - just want 1/2 Star Puffy Stickers - just want 1/2 of the set 4x6 Shipping Tag - again, I would want 1/2 but not all Chipboard 1 - really want the strips Chipboard 2 - like some of them, but not all Pockets - I like them if they will be affordable (they wont be) so I plan on making my own. 3x8 transparency journal cards - just want journal cards Shaped pages - I will make my own
So, I want about 1/2 of the items I listed. Ha. Anyone want to split some? LOL Im not against just getting the digitals of the journal cards and shipping tags. Im not spending a ton just to get a few.
I did notice no 6x8 papers. That surprised me. I love the red album with simple polka dots but when she put her handwriting on it, that ruined it for me. Its looking more and more like I will use my simple white album.
In case anyone cares, the Liz designs come from the following kits: December You Are My Fave #7, Winter Vibes and This Week. Not all the cards are from these kits, but most of them are.

snuggle in with my stash and might even make a few embellishments like back in the day. Looking forward to being more creative, less consumptive. YESSSSsss! That's where I'm at with this (and the world) lately. Oh for freak's sake, I should've known! We had some fun discussions about the weird American twist on the 12 days of Christmas in the DD thread last year, with you specifically, joblackford. I truly am a hopeless optimist underneath the eyerolling, black clothes and sarcasm. My mind just went straight to "Oh, half an Advent, I guess..." Can confirm that Catholics (whether practicing or cultural) have no excuse: Epiphany AKA the last day of Christmas is a major celebration. Tsk tsk tsk... It's funny because I almost didn't comment thinking, well, Booty knows how silly people sometimes forget about the difference between Advent and the 12 Days, but I'll say it anyway just in case other people were perplexed by the 12 envelopes. lol. OptimistBooty. I can't believe that the walkthrough for the embellishments is that long. That's ridiculous to me. Too much, too much. I mean, it's both too much product and also, who has time to sit down and watch all of that?! It's expecting a lot from your customers. I know a lot of people feel otherwise and are excited for all this good new(ish) stuff, and that's totally great, I'm all for people being excited about things they love, but the very idea of watching these long-ass reveal videos just exhausts me.

I texted a friend who also does DD and told her I’d split things if she wants. There are a lot of things I want but SO many pieces in each. For once I’m thankful there’s so much repetition because I feel we’ll both get a good assortment sharing with the option of 2-3 of the same phrase, pattern, etc.

I would absolutely be down for splitting items. Things I'm considering based on pricing: Transparency Phrases, Fabric Embellishments, Pleather Embellishments, both chipboard sets, Variety Sticker Bundle (anyone want the cork?), both tag sets, Die Cut bundles. Obviously I won't be getting all of that, but those were the items I was interested in.

I don't have anyone in my country that I could split a kit with 😥...oh well. I quite liked the 3x8 journalling cards and transparencies, but who needs 13 transparencies in one project? Wish they had stuck to the original idea of patterned paper instead, with maybe 3 transparencies tops!

I'm considering doing a 3x8 album this year, and I'm hoping there's one I like from Ali. I am also considering getting the 3x8 card + transparencies bundle (even though I'll probably only use a few of the transparencies), chipboard bundle n.2 (which I love) and maybe the shipping tags digital version. I really like the stars in the other chipboard bundle, but wont be getting it because I don't like the other shapes.
So far I don't like either of the albums so fingers crossed there's a nice 3x8 one!

The more I look at the Liz Tamanaha 3x8 kit, the more I like it. I thought it was too boring at first, but now I feel like it’s just more useable.

And I love that I already have the digital files. At this point, I am more interested in Liz's kit than I am Ali's (though I *always* end up with Liz's.

I wish there was just ONE kit with everything you need and with a few of these items, for example, a couple of transparencies, a few shipping tags, etc. Reminds me of the old DD kits. You'd get the main kit and have everything you need/ought to need, that's it. No extra fluff, add-on galore or crazy international shipping. That color scheme reminds me of one of the 2015 DD guest designed kits. Ashley Goldberg's kit? It is indeed very close to Ashley Goldberg's 2015 mini. Well spotted! Confession: I have never bought ANY Ali stuff. Don't worry: that makes you anything but a sheeple. I did notice no 6x8 papers. That surprised me. No 6x8 paper pack this year? I'm assuming only the main kit will feature them? Its looking more and more like I will use my simple white album. And it's a great album! Couldn't find a more "dreaming of a white Christmas" album than that BBB you scored during the sale. It's funny because I almost didn't comment thinking, well, Booty knows how silly people sometimes forget about the difference between Advent and the 12 Days, but I'll say it anyway just in case other people were perplexed by the 12 envelopes. lol. OptimistBooty. That optimism will be the end of me, I tell ya, joblackford ... I can't believe that the walkthrough for the embellishments is that long. That's ridiculous to me. Too much, too much. I mean, it's both too much product and also, who has time to sit down and watch all of that?! I still haven't gotten around to it yet... *hangs head in DD shame*

I haven't bought Ali's main kit since 2015. That was the first time buying a Christmas kit after years of drooling over them at SC. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the quality of the cards and the muted colours. I've been buying Liz's kits as I love their simplicity and versatility, but I am wondering if this is the year I give Ali's kit another shot.

Confession: I have never bought ANY Ali stuff. I know. Neither have I. I like making December holiday pages, but won't get caught up in the buying craze and spend $150 to make an album.

There's nothing I have to have. I agree that if the plastic envelopes aren't too expensive, it might be nice to have them. There are some other pieces I like but I know I won't want to spend the $$ that Ali asks for things. I picked up some Elle's puffy stickers and alphas, and will probably pick up something cute from CP and snuggle in with my stash and might even make a few embellishments like back in the day. Looking forward to being more creative, less consumptive. Perfect way to put it: being more creative, less consumptive. I've never bought a whole kit for Christmas because they can easily add way up $$$. I already have plenty of paper for this year. I have Stickles, sequins. Last night I started stamping holiday images onto matching solid cardstock, and colored in a couple to match the papers I will use. I'll fussy cut them later. I plan on premaking embellishments with the stamp & die holiday sets I already own, too. It's easier to put together holiday pages when there are embellishments ready to grab and stick. I plan on buying enamel dots, maybe some puffy stickers, maybe some alphas.

ETA: As a matter of fact, since we're going to be around for the holiday weekend, going to take some stamps and markers to the park and see about making some DD embellishments to match the stuff I bought (but haven't gotten) from Elle's studio.

Update: my order from Emely’s planner shop (Etsy ) placed Thursday afternoon, has already shipped.
Will update when I get them can’t wait to see my little reindeer guy. I’m pretty sure I’m done shopping for Holiday scrap stuff with this & my stamp & die order.
ETA: Thursday afternoon NJ time not Berlin so that’s why I thought it was so fast. It was already Thursday night her time by then.

American Peas, any news and previews of the new Christmas Hallmark movies coming this autumn? Tagging joblackford who's a fellow contract romance trope lover. ETA: Geralyn's yeti is still as cute as ever. That die-cut. *swoon*

I’m liking the blue (and the other colors, but I really like the blue) in the FYC Of the Season. FYC is the only one that’s tempting me so far. Well, I think the concept of Ali’s kit for kids is neat, but I could probably make a kit that would work for ds from my stash.

I think that green's a very pretty fabric but have no use for the actual album. I like a classic, tactile cover. Thanks for posting, nicolep!
