YES! I was looking for this thread yesterday but couldn’t find it, so I figured I was the only one still plugging along and everyone else had moved on to spring and other fun projects. Thank you for bumping this back up! I did basic foundation pocket pages for each day and now I’m going back to add embellishments and finish them up. I’m now up to embellishing December 11th. At the rate I’m going, I’ll be finished just in time for the 2020 December thread to start. You’re not the inly one. For a weird reason, for the first time in over 10 years) I haven’t worked on my Dec album in Dec or even Jan. It’s like I’m over it by Nov given all the fomo Ali creates with the project and the very long month to add to your box and the forever shipping time and all the waiting for the product play class. Yeah. I was pretty much over it by Thanksgiving this time, and I feel sad about it. Maybe the whole “we don’t care about the elf” or “we didn’t write a letter to Santa this year” had something to do with it too. I really like to see the albums year after year and look at traditions (old and new) and how things evolve as my daughters grow up, so I need to push myself to finish this one.

Here's mine. I completed the project on the 24th of December but took me awhile to blog it.

Here's mine. I completed the project on the 24th of December but took me awhile to blog it. Adorable! I love all of the detail and stories that are part of each day. What a fun, creative keepsake. Thanks for sharing it! I finished mine through Christmas.I have photos in place to continue through New Year’s Day, but my numbers only went through 25. For some reason, despite jillions of options my stash must offer, figuring out what to use for 26-31 seems to be an insurmountable obstacle. Putting it away for now!

I just completed four more days today after I wrapped up work. Feels like DD is going to last forever 🤦🏻♀️

Awesome work! I'm on day 24...and stuck. I just don't know what to do with those days. Day 25 is done and I know what the rest of the month will look like. Just stuck on 24.

Congrats to you ladies finishing up and still plugging away!
I decided to put mine away for now. I'm enjoying PL right now. I'll get back to DD again later in the year.

I made it to day 18. I’m still plugging along... That’s where I am too, after today! Kind of want to stop at 25 😂 But I do want to include NYE, so I’m not sure how I feel about stopping there.

I’m in the same boat! My kit numbers only go to 25, but my family came to visit for New Year’s—so I want to include that too! I guess I’ll have to figure it out when I get finished with day 25!

Today was a scrappy day...and I am now working on the 25th!! I need to finish the 25th and then add some photos of my family when they were here for New Years. I probably won’t do a day by day for the 26th through the 31st though. Is that considered cheating?

I go until the decorations come down or the family goes home. But when I run out of space or supplies I will just freestyle the last few days. If there are stories I missed telling they might go in the post-Xmas part, or I just highlight the days when something holiday festive happened. There are no DD police here! Keep up the good work

IT IS DONE!!
Out of necessity than an excess of time or creativity. My craft cave is turning into my work from home office. I needed it done in order to put the supplies away. Feels good.

Finally finished! This is the longest I’ve ever taken to complete DD and I’m honestly sick of looking at it. It will feel good to put the supplies away and not see him again until November 😉

I'm definitely not someone who could be working on this album in July.

I’m finished with my 2019 DD album! I did a 4*6 album and while it ended up being just what I needed for this year, I probably wouldn’t pick this size again. I did stop at 12/25 - we stayed home for New Years Eve so I didn’t have much to document since we were sick.

I found myself not wanting to include too much 'stuff' because I was afraid I would run out of room. I dont do a lot of flip up type pages (my preference) and some days I wished I could add BIG photos vs. just 4x6 photos. Im sure there was a way to add bigger photos in, but at the end of the day, I just wanted it done.

I've picked up my "perpetual" Christmas album again. Just got caught up with work since last Friday (ugh, I hate that work is spilling into my weekend now that I'm working from home) and I'm going to play with my Christmas goodies tomorrow! mom Which products did you use inside your 2019 DD? I think your plans were to use only your stash but you bought something from AE in the end, right? ETA: Congrats on finishing it!

I ended up going halvies on everything I bought (so I only had 1/2 of all of it). I got the main kit, pleather circles the XL tags and chipboard bundle #2. Between my stash and the 1/2 of stuff I bought that I kept, I had enough left over that I can put towards this year. I also did use quite a bit of my stash on my 2018 album that I finally did this past November. Selling 1/2 of everything I bought made it not too much stuff. A little is leftover but not so much I am swamped.

How do you decide who gets what if there’s only one of an item?

We just worked it out ourselves - she sent me a photo with circles on what she *really* wanted and I compared it to what I really wanted and we just worked it out between the two of us. My kids are older so all the 'Santa' stuff I didn't need but her kids were little and she wanted that. We split the chipboard the same way. And the tags - I knew I didnt need the whole pack so we divided that too.
