I had no issues getting on and adding stuff to my box, just to see. After I added it...I confirmed that I don't really need it. Gonna wait. Probably going to spend a decent amount with KP, FYC, and Crate Paper.

I was able to add all the stuff I wanted to my box and check out just fine.
IS IT OUR FIRST DD MIRACLE OF THE SEASON?!

Exactly! You can order theAE/SC page protectors (which are quite good) and use them in Simple stories or Project Life albums. Although one could argue it's madness to order Inked PPs when Simple Stories offer theirs for significantly less (and they are great quality). A set of 10 6x8 PPs from Simple Stories is usually around US$3.50. My stash is all Inked, hence my question 😁

I caved on the overpriced number stamps and bought the gigantic wood ones too. That’s it for me this year from AE.

It's 14 min after the hour and the only things that are sold out are red line tape, tiny attacher refills, and two old products.

The site is working great. Is that a sign there is less traffic this year? My box is empty. That's a first for me.

More album ideas for people who can wait ..... I'm hoping jamaica is selling some acrylic albums this year, her 4 by 6 green tree acrylic album from last year was really pretty. My son is crazy about collecting sea glass, so I am waiting to see if she posts albums for Xmas and then I will pick up the sea glass album. www.jamaicamakes.com/

I was able to add all the stuff I wanted to my box and check out just fine. IS IT OUR FIRST DD MIRACLE OF THE SEASON?! I was able to get the items I wanted, except the variety pack of 3x8 PP which was sold out, and check out easy-peasy. It was a nice experience! ETA: And now they're available again! lol So I was able to get everything I wanted. Not as much as I've purchased in the past, but I'm happy overall.

That was smoother than last year.
I decided to pick up 2 3x8 albums. The DD albums are the same price, but double the page protectors. Green is my favorite color so I know they'll easily get used. And FOMO those will be sold out by this afternoon I'd bet so I didn't want to worry about it.

I kind of bought a lot. I'm ok with it. Two albums, the 3x8 is for another project not DD. Both of the Paislee Press kits and a handful of embellishments. But not the ridiculous overpriced diecuts, I want them but those prices are insanity. I liked the PP stuff. I haven't like the colors of the FYC or KP kits in past years so I don't expect to care for them this year. FJ does a lovely job, but it's alway so similar year to year. I will be buying the digital butter image from KP though, I must have that.

I caved. I needed the wonky line stamp set in my life, because I can use it all year round. Gold puffy hearts weren't that overpriced, so I picked those up. And I needed to replenish my gold foil numbers from years ago, so I got those.... I still need more Xmas embellishments, but AE is priced out of my range. Ugh!

So far I purchased page protectors, the large wooden numbers and one of the overpriced 3x8 sets. I am still debating on if I like the main kit yet...

I will be buying the digital butter image from KP though, I must have that. I wanted the tags so bad, but not at that price. The problem is that the box will remain open for a whole month so people forget how much the initial purchase was and the adding “just another 10 dollars” is simple and then it all adds up. I will stay away from ali’s site all month to avoid that.

I'm kinda hoping they're printed on some thick letterpress paper or something, but I'm sure they'll just be journaling card thickness. Tags are the basis of my album this year so I "needed" them and I really loved the designs on the 3x4 ones. I should have just waited for the digital though and saved a couple bucks printing them myself.

FYI if you click on the Advent Calendar you can see some of what the 'surprises' are. I'll admit it, I bought the Advent Calendar. I'm ok with being disappointed and I know for sure it's overpriced. BUT...I make or buy advent calendars for my kids every year, and have since they were itty bitty. I wanted a calendar for ME, something that is a surprise. I'm giddy at the thought of opening the envelopes. But I'm going to be a good girl and not peak.

I like the wonky lines for the same reason....I'm thinking I will buy it digitally and then make up a bunch of 3 by 4 and 4 by 6 cards for use whenever I want. But it is tempting! I didn't buy any stamps this year as I have enough december stamps for life, but this one to me is less DD and more for all year round use.
