"Moana you ugly!' Johnny Lingo. You gotta watch the original 70s version because it's so cheesy it's awesome. the lines are so great to quote. "Moana you get out of dat tree!" "he paid eight cows for her?" and all sorts of other goodies. Saturday's Warriors screwed up an entire generations doctrinal understanding, especially that awful "I've heard that voice somewhere before" song. Because the movie says that God set aside the perfect man for you and you chose each other before you were born and someday you will just run into each other and know you were meant to be!

Here are some favorites from my collection. Gotta love the Utah ash tray with the Salt Lake Temple on it:

Gen: one of my toy industry friends is the sculptor of the B of M action figures and pewters. He sculpted some of the original Star Wars action figures. Kitsch, but nice kitsch.

I am trying to stick to the really *Catholic* things so that others can join the fun with more 'non-denominational' items. If you have a Catholic baby who cries like they are possessed... Baby's first medal! That's right - it's a diaper pin with a religious medal of Mary. I hear that it was a thing to have a Saints name medal on diaper pins too. My mom had one of those for me and passed it on when I had my first daughter ... But of course we didn't cloth diaper so it wasn't used that way.

And for those of you trying to sell your home, you must purchase the St. Joseph Homeselling Kit:
Dude, I totally bought one of those and had to have my old neighbor dig it up and return it to me! LOL. I'm not even Catholic (Lutheran, so - Catholic Light?) but I wanted all the luck I could get! I also pray to St. Anthony when I lose stuff!

Because I'm having too much fun, I had to search for more! How about some Jesus and Mary salt and pepper shakers, in your choice of two colors?

And a bright start to every morning - The Lord's Prayer alarm clock! How can you not have a good day when the first words you hear each morning are, "Our Father, who art in Heaven..."?

I wish I was home! My MIL has the paint by number painting of the Last Supper that her father painted. Probably 40 plus years ago. It's been there since I knew DS when we were in 8th grade! I know I have a picture of it.

My favorite thrift store has a whole section of paint by numbers including the Last Supper, Jesus on Mt.Olive & a Mary.
My mom has blinged out 2 foot Infant of Prague ceramic statue that her aunt gave her. Sorry no picture she lives 3 hours away.

I will see your Mormon Missionary calendar.... and raise you a Roman Priest Calendar! Remember - all of these 'Fr. Whatawaste' have taken vows of celibacy. This calendar is an annual thing... you can order one (only 10 Euro) here

I don't think this is "kitsch" per se, but I'm not Catholic. A friend of ours from Buenos Aires was just at the Vatican and got blessings for us (and half of Argentina, I think). The paper says: "His Holiness Francis cordially imparts the requested Apostolic Blessing to Tearisci and family invoking abundant divine grace." I am not sure what it means but it's pretty cool! Maybe some Catholic can clue me in? Like this ? I would put that in the world of Catholic ephemera... not necessarily kitsch but very, very close to the line. I *think* that they are supposed to be for Catholics only and they tend to be something people get for special events (Weddings, confirmations, major anniversaries etc.). You can see some details about how to get one at the Vatican website hereI want one! I have one from Pope JPII that I treasure.

The Virgin Mary USB drive. Please note that on her halo it says 'Oh Maria please keep my data safe' and when the drive is in use the Immaculate Heart of Mary glows red. Hahaha love this!

Do you have a pet who is acting like a demon? Maybe a St. Francis of Assisi medal on their collar will turn them into an angel. Or you can just go with a bandanna of St. Francis blessing the animals - personalized with your pet's name Yeah I need this. Watching my brothers 5 mos old puppy and she's out of control!!
