Honestly, the ugly grey carpets in several of the rooms were a bigger turnoff than the scary dude....

Scary dude doesn't bother me but the tiny kitchen and only one bathroom does. Other than that... beautiful home.

The house has some beautiful aspects and that price is amazing.

Nothing would make me buy that house.
If I was interested in that house, scary guy wouldn’t make any difference. Just think of all the clicks that house is getting because people are telling their friends about the current tenets.

Actually, while the funny Scream character makes me remember the house, it would put me off from buying it. And I'm right with Eddie-n-Harley that at that price, it would totally be worth putting in an extra bathroom! I really like the house. Yes, the kitchen is weird, but whatever. Cheap and pretty! |

I think it has some awesome features and the area rugs don’t phase me at all - they obviously won’t be there if I moved in. I would check under the area rug for damage just in case. The weird guy doesn’t do anything for me, but doesn’t bother me enough to avoid the house either. For that incredible price, I would add a bathroom and be quite happy.

It made us laugh. We already live with a small kitchen and bathroom. An extra bedroom would be great at this point. I need a room to hide my stuff in.

That house has never sold for more than $62K (in 2009) and then was resold 1 year later for $39K. This seller is asking for $65K more than she/he bought it for 9 years ago.
There is something wrong with the house or the neighborhood.
The scary guy is only in a few pics that can easily be removed from the listing when Halloween is over and replaced if the house doesn’t sell before then.

dumb... can't believe a professional realtor would want that attached to their name. seems like some prank a frat boy would do and then him and his friends would sit around stoned, laughing about how *lit* it was. house is nice... always shocked by prices, even though i know it's relative to standard of living. couldn't get a tiny 400 sq' studio condo here for that much (probably at least $300k for cheapest, tiniest condo) That house has never sold for more than $62K (in 2009) and then was resold 1 year later for $39K. This seller is asking for $65K more than she/he bought it for 9 years ago. wondering if there *was* something wrong with it and it has since been addressed?? maybe some water damage/mould or termites or something that they spent $$ to remediate, thus the large price increase? |

I’m with Spongemom Scrappants that it’s stupid. Who does that? That house looks smaller than my old house which was TINY, so nothing they could do would make me want to buy it. This girl needs some SPACE and that house doesn’t have it. And I also agree that a house should have no fewer bathrooms than the number of people inhabiting it. |

Given DS wore his grim reaper costume for at least 4 Halloweens, the photos brought back sweet memories for me and made DH & DD laugh out loud. Two thumbs up for us.  |
