We're out again. We've got some good wind coming up the canyon. This is at least the 3rd time we've been out since these started. 36ish hours the first time, 15 hours the second, and we went out around 8 last night, they are saying we probably won't be back on till Monday at the earliest.
We thankfully have a generator that's hooked up to our propane tank that powers our lower level so the fridge, garage freezer and suck will be fine.
Our internet company emailed and said they were better prepared this time and they would have backups on the towers, but it keeps going on and off.

Well, mine went out at midnight Saturday. Supposedly it’s back on now (haven’t been home yet to verify) but we got a text this morning to be prepared for it to go out tomorrow again.
We have a 2000 watt construction site generator that DH hooked up to our panel box to feed our house. We had the fridge, most of the lights, hot water heater, dish/tv on. No internet since the internet provider in the area (Comcast- WTF?) went down too. It was more annyoing than anything. I made DS’s Halloween costume with my mini craft iron. Tons of tiny glow dots, fun times.

They’re a way for the power company to read your meter and turn your power on and off remotely. We did NOT opt to put one in. Then we were forced to. The first one didn’t work right and we had a HUGE bill. We contested it and they replaced it. That's exactly what happened to some people here when we were all forced to change over to smart meters several years ago. Some people were refusing to let the power people onto their property to install them even though it was mandatory. In the end they had to, of course. Electricity companies are of the devil, for many reasons. I hope you're all back up and running soon.

Our power was supposed to be restored today, then back off tomorrow. It never got restored. Now it looks like we may not have power until Wednesday/Thursday.
I'm blowing out all of my candles and going to bed. It is super old in the house and my fish are probably going to die because they don't make battery operated aquarium heaters. I'm super pissed about it.

Really not nearly as remote as PGE thinks it is! Good luck to you guys.
