This change will only impact ages 18-49 that are childless and not disabled. Anyone with children on their case will feel no impact. Alex Wagner... ”Just in time for the holidays: the Dept of Agriculture has finalized a process whereby 755,000 Americans will be removed from the federal food stamp program. Secretary Purdue says it's an effort towards "self sufficiency," and is the first step of many to cut food assistance.” This one act by trump makes the case I have been saying for years. Republicans truly believe being poor is a choice. That people chose to be poor. That they aspire to be poor. And we all know a chunk of the 755,000 people are kids. This will only affect ages 18-49 that are childless and not disabled. Any one with children on their cases will not be impacted. Thanks for pointing that out. Regardless if they don’t have children or not disabled it’s still wrong. There is no excuse for anyone to go hungry in this country. And if some are gaming the system, who cares, there are many more who aren’t. And let’s don’t forget the corporations and wealthier Americans gaming the system at the other end of the financial spectrum which no one seems to want to do anything about.

You know there will be a next group. Just as cutting Medicare and Social Security will affect the elderly as well the cuts in SNAP! You do know that there are elderly getting SNAP, right?

So at age 18 a person magically becomes self supporting. Right. Halfway through senior year or just starting out in college trying to find those bootstraps, we’re going to let them starve. One of those billionaires who doesn’t pay taxes could entirely fund this program with a tax increase they’d never feel. But why tax billionaires when you can starve teenagers? ETA: apparently Texas is expected to have the largest number of families lose benefits. But of course the voting impact of those families has been systematically diluted here through gerrymandering, so I’m sure the GOP doesn’t expect this to hurt anyone’s chances here in 2020.

This is amusing and all, but the situation concerns me. We all know how he is. If the NATO leaders made him feel foolish, he may come home and decide we’re leaving NATO completely. Can he do that on his own or does he need the approval of Congress? We could be totally f*cked here. I thought same. He's nothing if not rash, reactive and thin skinned. I can't wait to the time that he's not everyday conversation. I hope it's not too late.

Article 13 After the Treaty has been in force for twenty years, any Party may cease to be a Party one year after its notice of denunciation has been given to the Government of the United States of America, which will inform the Governments of the other Parties of the deposit of each notice of denunciation. If he does have the power to do so and has FAR too much power for one man and very dangerous power. He would be playing right into Putin's hand. There is nothing that Putin wants more than to break that alliance between Europe and North America that is Putin's dream.

Catch Prince Charles giving him the middle finger with that "nose-scratch" gesture. Did you see the woman dressed in hooded dark blue dress on the left side of room, where Melania is only present? Not seen attire quite like that, although I've never attended such an event, so interesting if this is commonplace?

I corrected one that kept popping up because I hate it. Besides the fact that we could take back more unearned money from the top one percent than all the below, people deserve some small pleasures once in a while despite their economical circumstances. No money? No joy for you! (said in my best soup nazi voice) And don't these people posting this realize most would be more likely to join the group they're meme-ing against than than the upper one percent? As they say, punch up not down. :

I read somewhere that it was when he said the U.S. is not supporting the Iranian protestors. The trouble with that is, it was announced here maybe a week ago? We’ve been talking about it already. So it shouldn’t have been a surprise to his staff or anyone, really.

I don't think it was that either. Looking at that video Boris asks Macron why he was late. Macron says something with his back to the camera which was inaudible. Having watched part of the press conference between Trump and Macron, Trump, at one point, turns to Macron and says, laughingly, " Do you want a few Isis fighters" or something like that. Macron looks at him and says " Let's be serious" I'm guessing that is what Trudeau if referring to. Who the heck laughs when talking about ISIS repatriation? The matter is serious not a frigging joke.

trump..
”The Do Nothing, Radical Left Democrats have just announced that they are going to seek to Impeach me over NOTHING. They already gave up on the ridiculous Mueller “stuff,” so now they hang their hats on two totally appropriate (perfect) phone calls with the Ukrainian President....”
”This will mean that the beyond important and seldom used act of Impeachment will be used routinely to attack future Presidents. That is not what our Founders had in mind. The good thing is that the Republicans have NEVER been more united. We will win!”
I’m surprised he even knows the Founders existed let alone what they had in mind.

Trudeau said today that the U.S. president caught his own staff off-guard by saying the next G-7 summit will be hosted by the Americans at the presidential retreat at Camp David. The trouble with that is, it was announced here maybe a week ago? We’ve been talking about it already. So it shouldn’t have been a surprise to his staff or anyone, really. It was announced almost two weeks ago. I left town on the 25th and heard it before I left. "Believe me" I saw no news in Florida!
