It is so ironic that you posted this today. I found out 2 days ago that my husband and I will be moving to a small condo in October. I am very excited because it is beautiful and besides the much smaller scrapbook space, it will be perfect for us! That said , I am going from a wonderful, huge scrapbook room to myself to a very small corner. But I am determined to make it work. I'm down sizing and purging like crazy.. good luck to you and do what makes you happy!!

I so wish I was actually scrapping.. instead I've been printing and organizing my 2017 photos this weekend, my least favorite part of scrapbooking. But I know this is part of the process and needs to be done also.

YAY for you!! You're being extremely productive!! Enjoy your time scrapbooking! I'm so jealous.. I've been house sitting and puppy sitting for my DD since Thursday. I am so missing my scrapbook room and scrapping time. That's all that's on my agenda for tomorrow (besides a yoga class).

No kids so most of my pages are event oriented. Im just starting to scrap my baby pictures. Unfortunately my parents weren't much for picture takins so I have nothing beyond age 4. I'm toying with the idea of doing some art journaling and including some childhood memories. That is a wonderful idea! You definitely should! |

This month I'm hoping to:
Complete 15 pages
2 cards
and organize my photos (I've gotten way behind)
So far this month I've done 8 pages, but a couple of those are pretty simple pages with minimal embellishments..

After over 15 years of scrapbooking and avoiding scrapbooking about me at all, I actually really am enjoying sharing my own stories and doing pages focused on me. Of course, since I scrapbooked mainly my family pages, I was included on those but they were mainly focused on my daughter. I have started an album that's just about my me and my husband and me. Now if I only had more photos of me. Again, I need to remind myself to get in FRONT of the camera..

I made this album for a friend's birthday. We celebrated our 20th, and 22nd wedding anniversaries in HI together. There were so many photos, that there wasn't a ton of room for embellishments, but we both like how it turned out.  Gift album
This is a frame I made for a friend's new baby.

My sweet hubby just bought me a much needed new floor OTT lamp for my scrapbook room! I've had one on my wishlist forever! Now I just need to get the laundry and cleaning done so I can play in my scrapbook room and utilize it!!

I finally finished scrapping all my photos from Christmas 2015! After that and finishing most of my holiday cards for this year, I am ready to put the Christmas supplies away for awhile... Such a good feeling to have those both done though. Now if only I had 2016 done...

I totally understand. I just got home from WM where I edited and printed over 200 photos from our vacation and that's not even half of them. UGH!! I don't particularly love the whole printing photos process either..

What I love:
- I have my own room, which is a really decent size
- a large closet that's pretty organized with just my supplies
- a very comfy chair
- lots of wire paper racks from scrapbook store
- two tables, one just for die cutting tools and printer
What I don't love:
- the lighting is terrible

Between last night and today, I've finished 4 Christmas layouts from 2015!! And I've used ribbon and extra scrap paper on each of those pages!! I'm finally putting a dent in my stash..What a wonderful feeling!!

Yesterday my 17-year-old son came up to me and said "Mom, could you do a scrapbook page about me and my love of history? Also one about..." and he proceeded to list off 4 or 5 ideas that he'd like me to scrapbook about himself and about our family. He also asked me to write a lot on these pages. I love every single thing about paper crafting, but knowing he appreciates and loves looking at the scrapbooks makes it so worthwhile on a whole other level. My plan is to get him to do some of the writing for me - what a great way to get his thoughts and feelings on paper as well as my own. Oh my goodness! That's so sweet! Absolutely LOVE it! Thank you for sharing it! This reinforces why I scrapbook. Sometimes I need reinforcing. |

I have been away for a few days on a mini vacation with my daughter. It was wonderful to spend some time alone with just her. Now that I'm home and all my vacations are over, I'm ready to do some scrapping!! Tonight I managed to get 1 Christmas layout done from Christmas 2015. I do have several things to do tomorrow but hoping to get a little time to scrapbook.

Right now, I'm pretty obsessed with my yoga and meditation practices, which takes a considerable amount of my time but is so worth it because of the benefits!!

I have today and tomorrow off of work yet before I have to go back to work. Last week on vacation I finished my Christmas cards. Today I finally got back to my family album and realized I was at Christmas 2015. How ironic with you all doing Christmas in July!! I finished 3 pages from that Christmas and am working on another page.

I'm at the cabin this week and am halfway done with my Christmas cards! It took me longer than usual to come up with a design I liked. I also bought an album for my DD from the awesome LSS here! I'm a total nerd I know but I want my DD albums to match. I'm so tempted to start my DD pages. Love doing Christmas pages!!

I don't know if it would work for your DD's photos but I just bought Simple Scrapbook's Cabin Fever collection today and I just love it !! It will be perfect for my photos of this week at our cabin!!

I really like it!! What I like is that it is a lot like her other lines. I absolutely loved them. And I actually love all the brown, as it is one my primary colors that I use. I also really like the little bits of blue, yellow and green . TFS!!

I have been last night and this morning. I got 2 pages and a baptism card done so far. That's probably about it for a bit. We have a graduation party and birthday party to go to. Hoping to get back at it later today. Everyone enjoy who is creating today!!
