This is what we are dealing with from the right. More examples in the comments. I watched a bunch of these Truly terrifying. These folks are ready to shoot us all down. As in kill us. Again, no both sides whataboutism. The rest of us do not match this level of 'kill your fellow citizens' by a country mile. We do not match it at all. We don't even go there because we don't have that level of hate filled vitriol towards anyone who doesn't bend the knee for Trump. Summer of 2020 we had looting, cops attacked, cars destroyed, aggressive intimidation and harassment by people with a large mob backing them up- intimidation of people minding their own business eating outside at restaurants, people getting IN their face and screaming aggressively at them to "say his name", they had no idea the person they were screaming at was on their side nor do I think they cared, grabbing a seat at someone's table at another place -eating their food, drinking their drink and daring them to do anything (once again, with a giant mob behind them threatening them) same thing just walking by outside diners at another, attempted murder by arson, actual murder by arson, Billions of dollars of damage to cities, etc. A state senator and his wife were mobbed by a threatening crowd screaming at him to "say her name", the cops could barely protect them as they made their way out of a building but they would not have survived without police presence. These were all DISMISSED AS "MOSTLY PEACEFUL" here. And mocking and fighting anyone who objected to all of the violence, death and destruction that was happening all across the country. We've had republicans shot at at a baseball game, 5 shot including Steve Scalise who, 5 years later is still doing physical therapy. We've had a US representative calling for mobs to gather around citizens. After that we've had a long list of people, including children physically assaulted for nothing more than wearing a red hat. So it sure does look like both sides.

A former president removes boxes of classified documents, possibly containing info on nuclear weapons, stores them in an unsecure location and refuses to comply with a subpoena. Again, Something I've been wondering about this claim is, if there is something that is so clearly an alarming threat to national security, why did the government sit politely by for a year and a half before they finally became alarmed enough to go retrieve something so dangerous to the country? I do have to wonder if she realizes how she insults our intelligence every time she claims not to be the pea formerly known as Gia, or how much it destroys her credibility when she does so. You’re supposedly the purveyor of truth here, but you can’t be honest about your own identity? I have never confirmed or denied ANY of the guesses, so you're making "less than truthful" statements. To say the least. Several of you have demonized so many other people so successfully and for some reason merge, you so desperately need me to be one of them. What's the matter, making up shit about me in order to call me a monster and attacking my mental health isn't enough for you? Going on my community oriented thread and attacking me for posting something kind is not enough for you? Telling me I'm "such an easy mark" after you're caught in raging hypocrisy is not enough for you? Dealing with the here and now is just not enough for you? I'm pixiechick. That is what you can call me. Be civil and respectful or leave me the fuck alone, like you said you were going to do last month. Otherwise you're turning yourself into a troll.

I have? I don't think so. Nevertheless, "– exporting more crude oil than we imported – for the first time in recorded history" is a fact. Even if you want to quibble over yet another definition. From Reuters…
”But, contrary to what some online interpret as “energy independence,” when it comes to commodities that are traded in global markets, like crude oil and transportation fuels, the U.S. is not immune to worldwide effects even as a net exporter. For instance, while oil production in the U.S. is on the upswing , the country’s pump prices have raised to record highs ( here ). For Andrew Campbell, Executive Director of the Energy Institute at Berkeley Haas ( here ) “energy independence” is a “political slogan, not an economic or technical concept with a clear definition” often used by politicians to “imply that a country is insulated from global energy markets”.“This is rarely the case,” he said. “ If a country produces all of the energy that it consumes, does not participate in international trade in energy, does not import energy-intensive products and does not send energy-related pollution to its neighbors or the atmosphere, then I would consider it energy independent. I don’t think any country meets that definition.”No comment from you. I looked this up and could find nothing to confirm this. What I did find that the quarter that had just ended , at the time of the poll, had a growth of around 29% while the quarter before had a loss of 30-31%. Then I quit looking. Much as Biden did when he claimed he had no control over the price of gas? Until it went down and HE jumped to take credit for it. Nevertheless, According to WSJ under Trump "Jobs were better than expected until the crisis began." "During Trump’s first three years in office, median household incomes grew, inequality diminished, and the poverty rate among Black people fell below 20% for the first time in post-World War II records. The unemployment rate among Black people went under 6% for the first time in records going back to 1972." So no matter how you want to slice and dice him, there were important positives under Trump. That all started under President Obama. Remember the Great Recession had just started the end of Bush’s term and the beginning of Obama’s term. The unemployment raised to over 10% within the first year of Obama’s term and was at 4. something % when he left office. Whatever happened during trump’s term was a continuation of started during Obama’s time. But, even before the pandemic the economy started to soften in that there number of jobs created each month started to fall. Not by much but still falling. Now trump will go down in history with worst job creation in history of presidents.
No comment from you. That might have mattered more if there had not been previous and ongoing investigations into trump. He was sued and lost the case involving his university, while he was president it was determined he misused the donations that came into his foundation/charity so he can never have another one under is name. His organization was under investigation by the state of New York and by the City of New York. He was impeached but the Republicans in the senate ran interference so he was not held accountable for his actions.
Then there was Jared who’s family seemed to get loans/investment monies from the Saudi’s when they needed them. That's just your opinion and meant to diminish the facts in the question. Your opinion holds no weight in the survey, unless you are taking the survey. Then it may make a difference to you in how you answer YOUR survey, but your opinion is not needed in order to present the facts. This country has long maintained it did not negotiate with terrorists. Yet that is exactly what trump did with the Taliban which is a terrorist group. Not only did he negotiate with a terrorist group he cut out the legally elected government of Afghanistan in the process. Despite your feelings about him, the Trump administration's unprecedented $10 billion effort to expedite effective treatments to fight COVID-19, with the promise of 300 million doses of a safe vaccine available to the public as soon as next year came in before the next year and all of that are absolutely facts. dumpster don, the organized crime wave did the one thing that all presidents would do in this situation. In other words for the first time he actually did his job. It was in the news a lot right before the election. At least the news I watched. Stormy Daniels. According to CNN "In 2019, GovTrack, a non-partisan organization that tracks bills in Congress, ranked Harris as the "most liberal compared to All Senators." One measure the organization uses is comparing how many bipartisan bills each senator cosponsors to how many bills they co-sponsored in total. Harris had the lowest at 15% in 2019." As someone who has been aware of Kamala Harris since her SF DA days. Phooey! Yes being from the Bay Area she is a little more left then some but no where near Bernie Sanders. Fun fact though for those progressives and her strong ties to law enforcement. While DA she had case involving a cop killer. And people wanted her to seek the death penalty. But she didn’t because like me she doesn’t believe in the death penalty. No comment from you. The question that should have been asked is what is more important people’s lives or money. The Republicans made it very clear that money/economy was more important then people’s lives. Remember that fool in Texas, either the governor or Lt governor who gave that interview that is was ok if old people died because it was more important to make money. Which meant part of the country was shut down and the part that didn’t had a higher death count per whatever number they used then states that did shut down. They had a higher infection rate and a death rate. I'm guessing MRC as a resource that studies who reports what and how much time each thing is given on each network, they knew what Democrats were exposed to in their news sources. They were asking about subjects they most likely were NOT exposed to in their news sources. So saying the questions "are not entirely truthful" is not truthful at all. Then we disagree. Because in my opinion they were.Nothing was left out of those questions except your opinions of the facts in them. As we know your opinion is not needed in order to present the facts. And as I was told earlier, you can have your own opinion, but you can’t have your own facts.

No comment from you. I'm guessing MRC as a resource that studies who reports what and how much time each thing is given on each network, they knew what Democrats were exposed to in their news sources. They were asking about subjects they most likely were NOT exposed to in their news sources. No, I didn’t take time to respond to every one of the statements. I’m sure you are capable of googling for multiple points of view on all of them. I correctly pointed out to you that most of them lack context and, while some may adhere to the letter of a narrow sliver of truth, they fail very much to actually be truthful or asked in good faith. To give you an example of a statement that is true but lacks very important context: are you aware that our sun is dying and there’s nothing we can do about it? When it dies, if we have avoided other catastrophic events up to that point, life on earth as we know it will cease to exist. This is indisputably true. Used in a poll like yours, some people might be induced to panic and believe that the end is near. There could be widespread unrest. And there is nothing false about the statement given. But the thing is, the death of our sun isn’t likely to happen for at least four billion years. That’s a very important contextual point that was left out of the statement and I’m sure you’ll agree that it makes a lot of difference. In including only a sliver of truth, not only have I not actually informed the person hearing the question, I may well have led them to believe something that isn’t true at all. Questions that contain only a partial truth, or an opinion stated as truth, are not questions at all. They don’t inform. They don’t seek valid responses. They exist only to lead the respondent to a prescribed response. (In your example, the poll was designed to support an opinion that if more voters knew about Joe Biden’s supposed malfeasance, the outcome of the election would have changed. It allowed for literally no other possible outcome based on its questions and methodology.) No one is actually better informed by such a poll. I really encourage you to read the absolutely non partisan Pew Research document. Polling is a science. There are correct and incorrect ways to do it. they fail very much to actually be truthful or asked in good faith. No they don't. As I said, your opinion is not needed in order to present the facts. And they are facts that they presented in the questions. Your opinion on the facts presented is nothing like a missing fact in your exploding sun story. FALSE EQUIVELENT. And as a resource that studies who reports what and how much time each thing is given on each network, MRC knew what Democrats were exposed to in their news sources. They were asking about subjects they knew Democrats most likely were NOT exposed to in their news sources. So no, saying the questions "are not entirely truthful" is not truthful at all.

What in those questions, is "not entirely truthful'? It’s more that many of the statements lack context. Trump’s “peace deals” were not exactly the wins they seemed, and he was nominated for the Nobel prize by two like-minded Norwegian politicians. Also, anyone can be nominated for a Nobel prize. Winning is what matters. Jobs - yes, jobs were coming back after the worst of the pandemic lockdowns, and Trump jumped to take credit for it. You’ve already been shown how the myth of “energy independence” wasn’t exactly that. The question is misleading. Trump may have been promising a safe vaccine, but he did everything he could to downplay Covid, promote whack job alternative therapies, and allow fake news about the vaccine’s safety and efficacy to spread widely from his supporters afterward. No credit there. Lack of awareness of a news story from the 90s is … well, that’s on the person being asked. It wasn't being hidden from anyone. Kamala Harris a leftist … hahahaha. Guess that depends on how you “rate” her. Many progressives didn’t and don’t like her because of her strong ties to law enforcement as a DA. I guess now that y’all are on the “defund the police” bandwagon you can dislike her for a different reason. And then there are all the questions that were omitted. Where are the questions about whether the voter knew about all the credible allegations against Trump, both for sexual assault and shady business dealings? Where are the questions about Pence’s record on women’s rights and his extremist religious views? You can make a poll turn out any way you want based on the questions you use, how you word them, and who you ask. This is basic stuff. You can also write them to be designed to be as unbiased as possible. There are people who spend their lives and careers studying this. When campaigns do internal polling for their own purposes, it would make no sense to write a biased poll because they're looking for useful data. They want a poll that accurately reflects the understanding and attitudes of the people being polled. You’ve already been shown how the myth of “energy independence” wasn’t exactly that. The question is misleading. I have? I don't think so. Nevertheless, "– exporting more crude oil than we imported – for the first time in recorded history" is a fact. No comment from you. It’s more that many of the statements lack context. What in those questions, is "not entirely truthful'? Truthfulness aside, the questions are clearly worded to cast Trump in a positive light, and Biden in a bad light. This is the reason why you never automatically accept the results of a poll without looking at the info. That goes double for right-and left-blogs, groups, and organizations. Truth is being brought to the voters' attention. Truth doesn't have a slant. It's things that they did NOT know. The fact that they did not know these things is alarming. Are you objecting to Biden voters knowing these truths?

For someone so traumatized by "vicious bullying," there sure is a high level of continued participation from some individuals on this shitpost intentionally started to create drama. I'd post jello pics, but I got in trouble last time. So just imagine a disgusting jello salad now. It tastes and smells like this thread. The fact that YOU think that posting a tweet from a CBS reporter is "intentionally started to create drama" is the problem. That YOU believe that something you disagree with is "intentionally started to create drama" shows you to be the problem. That you can't have another viewpoint posted here without calling it "intentionally started to create drama" shows YOU to be the problem.

I can’t say how accurate this poll was, but I feel obligated to point out that Newbusters has a distinctive right wing bias. Doesn’t mean that the poll was inaccurate, but I looked at the topics of the questions, and they did not seem impartial. So what? If you all can cite sources with a distinctive Left wing bias, I can do it too, on the right. Like you said it doesn't make the poll inaccurate, so why mention it except as an attempt to dismiss?

You're not really trying to equate the two incidents are you? That would be an egregious example of a false equivalency. You asked "How exactly would you like to hold accountable former officials, now private individuals" I provided a possibility. Well, how would I know they’re lying? They’re intelligence professionals privy to intelligence and experience I’m not exposed to. The same way so many of these Peas don't wait for the truth, facts and evidence when the issue is facing the other way? Just to be clear, you started with a claim that the Biden Administration, in a coordinated effort with the FBI, worked to cover up Hunter Biden's laptop and to suppress the free press. With a correction that YOU quoted and keep ignoring in order to repeatedly push this point that isn't an argument anyone is making at this point and hasn't for days. A former president removes boxes of classified documents, possibly containing info on nuclear weapons Something is bothering me about this claim, if there is something that is so clearly an alarming threat to national security, why did the government sit politely by for a year and a half before they were alarmed enough to go retrieve something so dangerous to the country? I do believe that if Trump did anything wrong he should face whatever the consequences. I am ready to see him go so we can possibly heal as a country. I'm not sure that would do it as this point, but we need to try. This. I frankly do not understand being upset about an opinion offered by former intelligence officials. It’s an opinion. There's been a poll since then that said a significant amount of Biden voters wouldn't have voted for Biden had they known the truth at the time. I would like to point out a couple of falsehoods here. The poll was small, only 1,000 people. And the question wasn’t would you have changed your vote, the questions were do you think it’s important and do you think it would have changed the outcome of the election? Not the poll I was talking about. The poll I was speaking of "surveyed 1,750 Biden voters in seven swing states. Six of which (all but North Carolina) were called for Biden. We tested these voters’ knowledge of eight news stories — all important topics that our ongoing analysis had shown the liberal news media had failed to cover properly. We found that a huge majority (82%) of Biden voters were unaware of at least one of these key items, with five percent saying they were unaware of all eight of the issues we tested. This lack of information proved crucial: One of every six Biden voters we surveyed (17%) said they would have abandoned the Democratic candidate had they known the facts about one or more of these news stories. A shift of this magnitude would have changed the outcome in all six of the swing states won by Joe Biden, and Donald Trump would have comfortably won a second term as president." LINK

That part of your statement is amazing since all of these same peas are constantly losing their ever loving minds before they even know the truth yet and you don't say that to them. These same peas rail on about the importance of democracy when they even imagine anything or anyone on the right to be a threat to democracy, always before anyone knows the truth and facts yet. AND yet 51 former intelligence officials launched a "deliberate and coordinated effort to mislead the American people about information relevant to the 2020 presidential election by invoking your national security experience to falsely suggest that the allegations about Hunter Biden were not based in fact." And NOW you're not so concerned about a threat to democracy that NOW you're going to just sit quietly and rationally to wait for the "truth"? What threat to democracy? What information relevant to the 2020 presidential election are you talking about? Are you upset that Trump lost? Is that what all this is about? Is it your assertion that Biden won because 51 former CIA, NSA and ODNI personnel wrote that letter to Congress? No. The Hunter saga was already ongoing prior to the election and Trump himself used it as his “October Surprise.” Biden won because voters wanted to get rid of Trump. And for good reason. If you're beside yourself over those 51 former personnel, then you should write to the Senate Intelligence Committee and demand retribution. Are you upset that Trump lost? Is that what all this is about?Oh yeah, that must be it. Couldn't possibly be about watching all of these same peas that are constantly losing their ever loving minds before they even know the truth yet and you don't say that to them. These same peas rail on about the importance of democracy when they even imagine anything or anyone on the right to be a threat to democracy, always before anyone knows the truth and facts yet. Yes, that's correct, but yes, I would also say you did leave something out. The letter from Grassley claims significant number and consistency of allegations from those whistle-blowers about current FBI. 51 former intelligence officials pushed a lie that affected an election, one of them even doubled down since the truth has come out and bragged about affecting the election. These former intelligence officials have not been held accountable. The fact that it was pushed as Russian disinformation here and you were wrong. How exactly would you like to hold accountable former officials, now private individuals, for writing something that later turned out to be false? I don't know. Maybe we could ask the people trying to hold the private individual in Mar A Lago accountable?🤔

In late 2020 we had Hunter's laptop. They labeled it Russian disinformation. It was verified and verifiable via criminal search warrants. Then after Biden got into office they admitted it wasn't Russian disinformation. Those ARE the facts that we know at the moment. Okay. What is it you want done exactly? Because I’m not understanding anymore what it is you’re trying to achieve. Nobody on this thread is saying Hunter should be protected. He’s already being investigated by two jurisdictions and nobody here is protesting that. Joe is not meddling in either of those. What we’re saying is that no one in the public sphere or media knows to-date if the allegations of an FBI cover-up by Thibault and Auten on Hunter’s behalf are true or not. Not even Grassley himself who was purportedly approached by whistleblowers. He enumerated a long list of materials from the FBI his committee wants to review. Wait until a proper assessment is completed and published so we can all know if there was indeed a cover-up initiated by the two. For us to get angry at this juncture is a pointless endeavor because we don’t even know the truth yet. That part of your statement is amazing since all of these same peas are constantly losing their ever loving minds before they even know the truth yet and you don't say that to them. So just to summarize the facts As of now, there is no evidence of a connection between Hunter Biden's laptop and President Biden. Hunter Biden is currently under investigation by the DOJ. A US Attorney, appointed by Trump, is in charge of the investigation. So far, there have been no charges. President Biden's administration did not suppress the press regarding the laptop. The FBI under Trump's administration never claimed it was disinformation. The only evidence of a cover-up by the FBI is a letter from Chuck Grassley. Would you agree? Did I leave something out? Yes, that's correct, but yes, I would also say you did leave something out. The letter from Grassley claims significant number and consistency of allegations from those whistle-blowers about current FBI. 51 former intelligence officials pushed a lie that affected an election, one of them even doubled down since the truth has come out and bragged about affecting the election. These former intelligence officials have not been held accountable. The fact that it was pushed as Russian disinformation here and you were wrong.

Again, the important part that you're ignoring. Former - they were no longer part of the FBI. Maybe you need to read more carefully. Mmmm, okay. Good point.

The Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe, also said, at the time, that the information on Biden’s laptop "is not part of some Russian disinformation campaign." So they did know. Even the letter sent by all those former FBI trying to push the Russian disinformation narrative, said "We want to emphasize that we do not know if the emails, provided to the New York Post by President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, are genuine or not and that we do not have evidence of Russian involvement, there are a number of factors that make us suspicious of Russian involvement." The FBI never claimed it was Russian disinformation. What former FBI officials said or did is kind of irrelevant to your accusations against the FBI. The FBI under Trump's administration never said it was Russian disinformation. I'm not sure how they covered up something that they never claimed? www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/fbi-hunter-biden-laptop-russia/2020/10/20/3478408a-133d-11eb-bc10-40b25382f1be_story.htmlUm, what?! Just reading all this and the sentence above jumped out at me. Biden was not in office in October 2020. Therefore, there was no Biden Administration in existence in October 2020....ergo, how could anything be suppressed by Joe Biden in October 2020? Carry on........ It pays to read the entire thread, or at least my posts if you're aiming for a gotcha at me. Carry on...

Nobody said there was. Nobody said that either. You're having an argument that no one else is having. You said the Biden Administration suppressed the free press in October 2020. And you keep repeating the accusation that the FBI covered something up. Right now, the only evidence is Chuck Grassley’s letter. And a CBS report on Grassley’s letter, which is significantly different from CBS reporting on allegations that they independently verified. Chuck Grassley’s letter and a report on the letter. A FBI cover up would be convenient for conservatives and would tie in nicely with their shouts this week to discredit the FBI, to de-legitimize them and to defund the FBI. However, there is still no evidence of a cover up aside from Grassley’s letter and his accusations. Which for various reasons are not objective. You said the Biden Administration suppressed the free press in October 2020. And you quoted my correction. Stop ignoring that in order to have arguments that no one is having. And you keep repeating the accusation that the FBI covered something up. Right now, the only evidence is Chuck Grassley’s letter. In late 2020 we had Hunter's laptop. They labeled it Russian disinformation. It was verified and verifiable via criminal search warrants. Then after Biden got into office they admitted it wasn't Russian disinformation. Those ARE the facts that we know at the moment.

Pro tip for you: aj2hall repeating the propaganda from the coverup is not showing the coverup to be wrong. I’m sorry that repeating actual facts gets in the way of your narrative. Like the fact that in October 2020, there wasn’t even a Biden administration. Aside from Grassley’s letter, there is zero evidence of a cover up by the FBI. Repeating the accusation doesn’t make it true. Like the fact that in October 2020, there wasn’t even a Biden administration. Nobody said there was. Repeating the accusation doesn’t make it true. That's a very vague assessment of "many of my posts". On the other hand, very specifically, you repeatedly attacking someone's mental health, their character and deeming them a monster based on something YOU MADE UP about me, because YOU are seemingly, completely unable to function and deal rationally and civilly with opposing opinion or facts, without resorting to such base childish behavior, sure says you may be, more than likely projecting your behavior onto me. You should be looking in the mirror and dealing with your own self before you start diagnosing ANYONE. You are NOT qualified. YOU are a hypocrite to the highest degree. I've never said that, so if you're trying to apply that to me, it is anything but clear. You have muddied the water and you are completely confused and completely full of shit. Your agreement is unnecessary in knowing that attacking someone's mental health because YOU are unable to deal with opposing opinion or facts in a rational, civilized manner, is in fact VICIOUS BULLYING. It simply doesn't need your agreement. You and your buddies working so hard for years as a group, to silence and/or run anyone off the board who may have the same opinions or viewpoints that I do, see things the same way, or acknowledge the same facts that I acknowledge, is hardly "showing a bunch of stuff that has no basis in reality as most people accept it". That's not how reality works. Yeah, sure. Just like the laptop is just Russian disinformation, right? Regarding that other thread, I asked you a few times times to read the article I posted so you could comment on it. You did not read it, apparently, but I could not know that and took your silence for agreement with what it said. I guess next time maybe read what is being discussed rather than assuming you know what’s in it. As has frequently been said, Gia, you can have your own opinion, but you can’t have your own facts. Things are either verifiably true or they aren’t. If we (general we, all of us, not just you and me) can’t agree on what constitutes verifiable facts, where is the basis for rational conversation? If indeed you are suffering with your mental health right now, I’m sorry to hear it and hope you’re feeling better soon. My use of the word “unhinged” was meant to convey a separation from reality as shown by verifiable facts. It was not meant to disparage your mental health and I’m sorry it seemed that way. I don’t believe most of us here have denied that some stuff was found on what appears to be Hunter’s laptop and that it’s being investigated. Those are facts. But you opened this thread with other allegations about an FBI cover-up and failed to provide any verifiable information other than a letter Chuck Grassley sent. Those allegations aren’t facts. I am quite able to deal with opposing opinion. I am not willing to countenance made-up conspiracies and unfounded allegations as “facts,” nor will I accept as rational opinions that are based in whole or in part on said conspiracies and allegations. It troubles me that at this point in the proceedings, we can’t even agree on what constitutes fact vs. opinion. Insofar as people have left the board and you want to blame liberals for it, I ask you - as we are operating in different versions of reality, at what point are the liberals on the board allowed to set boundaries with people whose version of reality does not align with ours? We’re not talking about different opinions here - we’re talking about a differing view on stuff that actually happened and stuff that didn’t actually happen. Why are we obliged to attempt to engage rationally with people we perceive as being wholly irrational? No one is forced to leave the board, but neither should we be forced to legitimize conspiracy-based beliefs by engaging seriously with them. I suggest now you go back and read over your post to me and ask yourself if it sounds like something a rational adult would type out. Be well. Regarding that other thread, I asked you a few times times to read the article I posted so you could comment on it. You did not read it, apparently, but I could not know that and took your silence for agreement with what it said. I guess next time maybe read what is being discussed rather than assuming you know what’s in it. No, you did NOT post an article, you posted a long picture of a tweet with a lot of different posts on it. I read all that you posted ON YOUR POST. There was no indication on your post that you wanted people to click on it and read any other tweets that you did not include originally. You and I and this entire fucking board know I was not silent, so there was no silence to take as agreement with some other post that you did not include in your OP but later added for the sole purpose of saying that I responded to THAT in order to call me a MONSTER. That was beyond sleazy of you and beyond the pale.
Here is the link to the thread if anyone wants to see for themselves. LINKAs has frequently been said, Gia I am pixiechick and to call me any other screen name than MY screen name is nothing more than meant to demean, discredit and it's rude. You're just showing who YOU actually are. Someone that needs so desperately to discredit. You shown me again and again and again. I believe you. But you opened this thread with other allegations about an FBI cover-up and failed to provide any verifiable information other than a letter Chuck Grassley sent. Those allegations aren’t facts. I provided a tweet from Catherine Herridge from CBS news. No, it hasn't been proven, but that is what we have now. You can disagree with that as much as you like. Just like you did with Hunter's laptop, which you turned out to be wrong about. But your prerogative. In late 2020 we had Hunter's laptop. They labeled it Russian disinformation. It was verified and verifiable via criminal search warrants. Then after Biden got into office they admitted it wasn't Russian disinformation. Those ARE the facts that we know at the moment. If indeed you are suffering with your mental health right now, I’m sorry to hear it and hope you’re feeling better soon. It was not meant to disparage your mental health and I’m sorry it seemed that way. You're so full of shit. My use of the word “unhinged” was meant to convey a separation from reality as shown by verifiable facts. You have shown nothing of the sort. You disagree with what Catherine Herridge presented. You have not shown anything else but your desperate need to shut down opposing opinion and facts. But you opened this thread with other allegations about an FBI cover-up and failed to provide any verifiable information other than a letter Chuck Grassley sent. Those allegations aren’t facts. No shit. But some people here, you included, would not allow it to even be presented. You could not just disagree, you set out to destroy the person that brought up the CBS tweet. Do you honestly think you have the moral high ground here by doing that? Seriously? I am quite able to deal with opposing opinion. No, you clearly are not or you wouldn't be going to these desperate lengths to shut down my opinion AND facts. Insofar as people have left the board and you want to blame liberals for it, I ask you - as we are operating in different versions of reality, at what point are the liberals on the board allowed to set boundaries with people whose version of reality does not align with ours? You lose your point the very second you set out to destroy the person you're disagreeing with in order to shut them up. You lose any validity you have. We’re not talking about different opinions here Yes, we are. Why are we obliged to attempt to engage rationally with people we perceive as being wholly irrational? Because that's "YOUR" opinion that things you don't agree with "can only be wholly irrational, mentally unhinged, evil" etc. That's you projecting what "YOU" are actually the one doing. No one is forced to leave the board, but neither should we be forced to legitimize crackpot beliefs by engaging seriously with them. No one is physically forced to leave the board, but if you don't acknowledge your actions that led to the people WANTING to leave and doing so, or refusing to participate because of bullying threads like you turned this into, then YOU are NOT being legitimate. I suggest now you go back and read over ANY of your post to me and ask yourself if it sounds like something a rational adult would type out. Ditto. Red added is mine.

Nope. You turned it vicious. Again. Own your own actions. Stop trying to put the blame on anyone else. You're intelligent enough to know that "an idea being bonkers" is completely different than "you're unhinged", which opened the door to "mentally challenged" and then some. Not to mention insinuating being racist If you can't prove your point without vicious personal attacks, YOU'RE the problem. I will completely own believing and saying that many of your posts here show that you are sadly unhinged from reality, that the vast majority of Trump supporters are racist at their core, and that the hypocrisy of “back the blue” followed by “defund the FBI” makes that pretty clear. I don’t agree that this is “vicious bullying” - it’s simply what I observe based on your posts (and those of others) here. Will you own posting a bunch of stuff that has no basis in reality as most people accept it? That aside from Grassley, so far no one has spoken to these whistleblowers, and that there has been no independent verification of what he claims? That perhaps you jumped the gun on the assertions you made here? It’s well documented that at this point, Trump supporters - like Trump himself - are operating in a different reality from everyone else in the country. We don’t agree on basic sets of facts or standards for journalistic integrity. I don’t believe any reasonable conversation can be had under those conditions and I’m perplexed as to why you think it can. You obviously believe we’re as deluded as we think you are. What’s the point? I will completely own believing and saying that many of your posts here show that you are sadly unhinged from reality, That's a very vague assessment of "many of my posts". WTF happened to this thread? Pro tip: repeating the same points over and over again after they’ve been shown to be wrong doesn’t make anyone change their mind. Insisting that unsubstantiated claims are actually facts when your side of the aisle makes them is not any kind of evidence. And cindosha , all that anger in your heart is going to kill you too young if you don’t take care of yourself. Holy hell. I’m going to bed. Reading the last three pages wore me out. I can’t even remember what points I’m supposed to be making anymore. (hmm, maybe I have dementia??) Because they lied about it and covered it up. They were working in tandem with social media to silence people and news agencies from talking about the facts. Because they lied about it. The FBI. The White House was working WITH social media to squash a free press and to keep people from knowing the facts of the case. They lied and covered it up, until Biden got elected. The FBI. The same FBI that FORGED DOCUMENTS in order to get the judge to sign off on spying on the Trump campaign. If the Trump kids did anything illegal they need to be investigated and face the consequences too. Pixiechick, not entirely true. You did accuse Biden of something - you accused the Biden White House of working with social media to squash a free press. In October 2020, before Biden was even elected. And I corrected that later... In the red, Jen Psaki. I may have conflated 2 different instances of government abuse of power though. It would seem, in the Hunter Biden issue, that news outlets and social media got their marching orders from the FBI. Not the White House. That would come later in the Biden White House. So no, I'm still not accusing Biden of anything in relation to this issue.

It's not just the media that covered up that the laptop exists, which is bad enough. It’s that the FBI covered it up. And just long enough to get Biden in to the White House and THEN said oh, NOW we can let you know it's not Russian disinformation. ETA: myshelly I'm not even claiming what is real or not on the laptop. But they sure had SOMETHING they felt the need to hide. Thank you for answering my question. So, the anger is directed at the media and FBI, but no one is accusing JB of anything? I'm not, I don't know about anyone else.

I realize I am probably going to deeply regret wading into this thread, but here goes nothing. Ok, I’m not a big fan of Biden, but there is something I genuinely don’t understand about the “but his laptop” arguments. Conservative peas, let’s say for the sake of this conversation that I believe everything you say is on the laptop, is on the laptop. Let’s say I believe Hunter is the biggest drug addict ever, he had incriminating photos with girls, he tried to sell access to JB. Let’s say I even believe the media just decided not to cover it. My question is - so? What exactly are the allegations against *Joe* Biden, the actual president? Why make such a big deal about what his kid did? It's not just the media that covered up that the laptop exists, which is bad enough. It’s that the FBI covered it up. And just long enough to get Biden in to the White House and THEN said oh, NOW we can let you know it's not Russian disinformation. I am endlessly amused by people who whined about “liberal snowflakes” for years Not once have I ever uttered those words, much less posted them. Not ever. who now sob online endlessly because they erroneously claim they are being bullied anytime someone disagrees with them or asks for proof to back up their claims. Neither of which remotely meets the definition of bullying. Stop gaslighting. As anyone can see from the many many many reasonable conversations I've had over just the last few years I don't have a problem when someone disagrees with me. The problem comes when they throw personal attacks in order to shut down things they don't like. And now they've become vicious from Merge. And, to be clear, as someone claimed upthread that people have been “bullied” here into changing thread titles, no one here asked Gia pixiechick to change her thread title. And since you’re such a stickler for precision and accuracy, perhaps you could edit your title to include allege, since all we have are Chuck Grassley’s letters. Even the tweet you posted used the word alleged.

While we’re here, I just want to point out that I think it it was Gem Girl who made the first derogatory comment about someone’s cognition on this thread, something about an idea being “bonkers.” Which, yeah, I don’t disagree, but I’m not sure how that earned *me* a call out for turning the tide of the thread. Nope. You turned it vicious. Again. Own your own actions. Stop trying to put the blame on anyone else. You've been repeating the same claims about Biden since 2020 with a few new details. And you also keep saying that he will get replaced. 2 years later, he's still president. Believe what you want, but most of us are not convinced. All of this seems like a convenient distraction from Trump's wrongdoing and the investigation of espionage. It's fairly predictable, every time there is negative press for Trump (which happens frequently), conservatives bring up Sleepy Joe and Hunter Biden. Despite the fact that it hasn't been 2 years yet, I've never said the words he will get replace in 2 years. I said I don't think he will make it the full term. It's not meant to be a distraction for the Trump raid since this was reported on weeks before the raid. So that doesn't track. I don't believe everything you are saying because it feels like a gross exaggeration. I'm also okay at admitting when I'm wrong. Not one single thing I've said is untrue or an exaggeration. one MIGHT have my opinion added to it, with a caveat. Joe Biden, falling upstairs 3 times in a row. In the same moment. Absolutely true. Jill actually physically moved a grown ass man into place. The president of the United States! Even she TREATS him like a man in a diminished mental state. Absolutely true. I saw Biden trying to put his jacket on the other day. It was just short of a dog chasing his tail. You would totally agree with the assessment if it was Trump doing that exact same thing, that's how ABSOLUTELY TRUE it is. The press guy talking about when he was recovering from covid the first time, he said that Joe actually held up his plate to show him he ate everything on his plate. Like a 3 year old. ABSOLUTELY TRUE Thinking he's running for United States Senate, (twice) when he was running for president, ABSOLUTELY TRUE rambling on about a guy named Cornpop while reminiscing about letting kids playing with his leg hair decades ago, ABSOLUTELY TRUE repeatedly not understanding not to read the stage directions, ABSOLUTELY TRUE standing trance like while holding an imaginary steering wheel? while looking off into the distance instead of looking at the the person asking you the question, ABSOLUTELY TRUE, I provided the video above saying "We're in the process of deciding what I think." in response to a reporter's question, ABSOLUTELY TRUE clapping without getting your hands even close to each other, ABSOLUTELY TRUE ***I did not include the ridiculous accusation I've seen that he keeps trying to shake hands with no one there, because to me it's clear he was trying to determine where to go, not shake hands. He was indicating "I want to make sure I go in the right direction". forgetting words, concepts, people's names and that this is the Biden presidency -not the Harris presidency, ABSOLUTELY TRUE admitting that "they" won't let you take questions -saying that "they" are going to be mad at him if he does, ABSOLUTELY TRUE repeatedly being guided around with hands on, moving him around like you would a 5 year old. ABSOLUTELY TRUE ***I've seen Jill do it at least twice and the Easter Bunny once Falling off a bike while standing still. ABSOLUTELY TRUE ***although I cut him slack on it, it still happened One I forgot I just saw the other day, He looked like he forgot that Schumer? just shook his hand and he held out his hand again for him to shake. ABSOLUTELY TRUE Correct me if I am wrong but isn't the op one of the people who regularly insults the current President and claims they have dementia and other mental failings? And now they are calling the exact same behavior bullying because it is directed at them? Noticing specific things that actually speak to declining cognitive ability in the POTUS and discussing it on a message board, is entirely than using personal attacks "to their face" to show disagreement and you know it. Where's that context you preach?
