I had my first candle sale today; one service of 60-odd congregation at my church. I sold 32 candles, made £140, and was given a few minutes mic time to explain it all, and had 2 ladies in tears. The second one is next weekend at the other church. Aren't they pretty? {deleted to save space}

Yes, yes they are. I keep picking my candle up and just holding it, it's so smooth and I find it very calming. Ok, I'm weird

Thank goodness. I've been reading the pattern scratching my head like what the heck does LP mean.

Thank goodness. I've been reading the pattern scratching my head like what the heck does LP mean. Yes, those are her picots. I don’t know why they are abbreviated LP. They are chain 3 and then 2 dc into the 3rd chain from the hook.

I'm off now in the right way.

I have decided that I'm the person who quits a marathon on mile 25. Lol! I'm at the very last row and if I didn't have a Christmas deadline my project would be in the naughty corner for a good month. Whew! Why do I have so much trouble running the last mile?

CAL ladies!!!!!! I messed up! In the best way possible lol I thought that I had another set of squares to do after the ones that I am currently working on. I don't!! So I only have *one* more square to make. SO excited. But I don't want to bring with the whole blanket for attaching the squares to Florida with me. That will be a PITA to pack and work on while on the plane. So... not sure what I am going to work on while I am there now. I will be ready to start joining when I get back. So excited!

That's my kind of mess up tyra! It's a good problem to have. Take a small project with you and do the blanket when you get home. Hope you have a good trip.

I am going full speed ahead on gifts for my great nieces and nephews, and got three of these super easy messy bun hats done this weekend. They are made with two strands of worsted weight yarn. One likes blue and one likes purple so I decided to make one for their mom with one strand each of blue and purple.

Julie W those are so cute. I went through a phase of making those. My sister has long hair and wanted one. I took a bunch to a new years Eve party and they got grabbed right up.

jeremysgirl - wow, beautiful. I love it! Here’s a Christmas gift for DD. She lives with her boyfriend in the seaside city of Brighton in the UK. It’s free motion embroidery showing the two of them on the beach with some famous landmarks in the background.

I *really* love that, muggins! I'm still slogging on the same 2 projects, but I'm almost done with my scarf. The Moorland blanket, I'm a little past halfway?
